Score from 1005 reviews Very good
We were honeymoon couple and we did not get any special set up in the hotel room. And the next day the housekeeping disturbed us 3 times in the room inspite of the DND card. The breakfast was poor and the staff were unattendant.
The location and food
Cleanees of food tools eg spoons glass...etc
The staff was very helpful The location is ok
The view from the room is bad The tv is insanely small Really nothing great
The location at the Bosphorus bridge is excellent. Plenty of pubs at walking distance, good restaurants, and shopping area. 10 minutes by taxi away from Takseem.
The breakfast variety is not as big as expected, however what is offered isn't bad at all, but compared to other hotels that I used before in Istanbul my expectations were higher.
Room was not sound proof Shower is dangerous
It's on the sea direct
First of all the room all decorated are old even the furniture is so old they put me on the block (B) which u have to use two elevator to rich ur room and the elevator are so small it's good for two person only they have less staff for caring the lagging only one person I don't no how it's get five star hotel comparing to other hotel like cvk or other it's 0 start ..
Room Value of money
Size of the room, size of the bed, Design, view,
Every thing was perfect A++
Traffic in that area, and also cars noise till 2am
The floor of the room was old and not clean in some areas
I loved everything there .. The location the restaurant and the view
The loud noises from the club near by
Panoramic view is gorgeous.
Night Club on the right side was making a lot of noice til 3:00 AM.
Generally helpful staff. Check-in was professional and friendly.
1. windows poorly insulated -- very loud traffic noises (room 326) 2. entrance ceiling lightswitch did not work. only the one from the bed. 3. sink did not fill, water leaked out. 4. cleaner left window open one day. room filled with exhaust from buses and cars. 5. price of breakfast was ridiculously high. 6. There were charges for telephone calls on my bill that I did not make on the day of my arrival. 7. At night there were lots of male staff standing around the door, but they never greeted me, much less opened the door when they saw me coming, they just got out of the way or went on chatting with each other. Desk staff in the evening never looked up from whatever they were doing.
The room was a bit smelly and low in lightening
Location was good, neat the old fishing village. Bar was so expensive and room was small. Traffic and taxis are a nightmare. Beware taxis rip you off!
Small room No view Expensive for drinks
Location, some of the staff were extremely helpful and others not
Location of hotel is good
Very poor in facilities comparing with other 5 stars hotels
We chose the Hotel because of its excellent location. Around the Hotel are lots of restaurants, bars and shops as well as an interesting mosque. The room was comfortable and clean with the necessary amenities.
The Hotel is poor value for money. The lobby is very small and uninviting with only one very small gift and jewelry shop. The restaurant mostly empty and without any atmosphere. The bar is equally not very welcoming with lots of young people swarming into it at night. The staff is correct but no more and so is the reception. Whilst the location is good at the Bosphorus and the big bridge commuting to the city is difficult. Only buses available that get stuck in the traffic quite a lot and one very early ship to Eminönü centre. This Hotel at their prices cannot really recommended by us.
Limited Food Menu
Stains on Towels its for sure doesnt worth 330 EUR\night
Access to the shower wasn't easy!
Pillows were not comfortable
The location was nice. It in the ortakoy area and by the bosphorus.
The business class room was ok but it has a partial view on the bosphorus. And it is a little pricey. I recommend booking a standard room.
Very noisy . Poor Wifi service and worth for its money
Out-dated (Scandinavian of 15-20 years ago) furniture design in rooms.
