Radisson Blu Conference & Airport Hotel Istanbul  

Considerate staff, check-in, assistance, on-line airline check-in; all handled well. Room very good with all special requests catered for.

Navigation, access is only from the highway frontage road that starts almost out of sight of the hotel. If you drop off at the front entrance you have passed the hotel parking and must go round again. Better signage on the entrance to the frontage road, something to identify the parking entrance as for the Radisson and suitable advice on the website would be a great help.

The design and the new funky public areas

The staff were totally not willing to deal with any of the problems incurred at the hotel, it was a very disruptive environment with airport passing trade, families large groups, unable to sleep which no one would deal with loud group outside room for hours, children running riot in the business area staff not willing to deal with and at check accepted no responsibility at all saying it was a security staff at night to deal with and they should of done it, would never return very poor service for the money,

Location, convenience, close to airport and offers airport shuttle. Good quality breakfast.

Generally hotel staff not much responsive. I stayed for 3 nights, my room was not cleaned adter 1st night. Stayed frequently, despite request staff did never print my boarding pass on time or delivered wrong one. From the hotel of that class one expects more friendly and responsive staff as well as better service quality as to bathroom cleaniness. Bathrooms are not 5 star quality and towels although washed they should be exchanged into brand new sets after some time, not that 5 star hotel has towels looking like they have been used for last 10 years. I stay there frequently because location, but started to thinking to change hotel because of quality drop.

The bed was hard, the breakfast was very poor, the staff were not particularly helpful, there is no business centre, the gym is public and very noisy, the price of food and drink in the hotel is ridiculously high compared to outside.

Airport shuttle service, restaurant, internet access

Bathroom needs better care and stanard upgrading. Bath tub plug was not fitting bath - just when I needed one!

Because it is airport hotel the only disturbance was noise from airplanes.

we were put in standard rooms in the beginning until we complaint. some conditions were denied such as Daily newspaper * Free ironing of one suite per day

The hotel is situated near a highway, a lot of planes take off above the hotel. But the rooms have very poor sound protection, so it is impossible to rest and sleep normally in the room. We stayed for a night in this hotel after a week trip about Turkey and were a bit tired of turkish food and wine. We hoped that in this 5-star hotel we would have good european food and wine. The selection of european wines was wery poor, the pasta we ordered was impossible to eat. I advise everybody to avoid staying in this hotel.
