Very friendly staf in hotel. Allways on your service. I can recommend to all people. Romantic view from the terace, nice clean rooms.

I have to admit that our stay was to short to notice any bed things.

Location is pretty good. Marvellous view from restaurant terrace.

Breakfast is very poor.

Great location with fantastic view over Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Nice and clean rooms with great atmosphere. Close to metro station, restaurants and coffee shops. Helpful staff.

Shower drain was very slow in draining water in both our rooms, was gross.

The location is very convenient and very close to sultan ahmet tram station and a walking distace to the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Nice cafe view on the top floor and the Cafe staff was very friendly especially Sevgi and Fatma, they are ready to serve you with a smile. Front desk staff also quite helpful.

The room is a bit small for the price paid.

Very good food and restaurant ladies were smiley and helpful- that was what you need first thing in the morning in restaurant terrace with amazing view to Istanbul! Good location of the hotel with walking distance to Blue mosque and other monuments. Great experience, I would come back there again (not only because I had a present from hotel: a CD with a beautiful Turkish tunes :) )

Was not lucky with the room, which was very tiny; also bathroom's ceiling needs to be repaired as it was dangerously hanging down...

The roof terrace has wonderful views over the city and to the sea. The receptionist gave us a day by day guide to what to see and do in the city and gave us some invaluable advice.

The hotel didn't have a map of the city - an essential for any traveller.

Location only

Rooms very small and bed very small good for short peoples. The rooms have no insulation you can hear your next room voice. The hotel is marked as four star and it is only three as marked out side of the hotel,this is for booking.com. Staff are unpolite.

We stayed 4 nights, excellent breakfast, view from dining room fantastic, worth the stay alone. Staff very friendly and helpful, recommended excellent local restaurants and sightseeing. Location of hotel exceptional. Great value for money, would highly recommend.

No alcohol served, a glass of wine or cold beer would have been nice to have in the evening sitting on the rooftop terrace enjoying the view of Istanbul.

The view from the terasse restaurant is absolutely fantastic in the morning as well as after dark. Location near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The receptionist gave us very good recommendations for place to dinner (fish market) and sightseeing (don't miss the underground basin near Hagia Sofia).

I thought the room was quite cold as the door/window wasn't insulated against cold, smell of sewerage in foyer

When we arrived in January airconditioning systam was broken. It took aloust one hour to get heater from personel. There are no battaries in hotel!!!

The view from the breakfast room was spectacular! Wonderful way to start the day. The staff spoke English well. They were all very friendly and helpful with any questions or needs we had. The hotel was very close to everything yet on a quiet street. The free airport transfer went very smoothly and was much appreciated! We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really, it is an older hotel as you would expect for the location.

The location was very nice. They accept Euro/USD/Lira and the conversion rate is very nice. They make all reservations for shows at the same rate.

Location was great. Staff was nice. Room 501 overlooking the Blue Mosque was great. Breakfast was wonderful.

Central heating in room did not work forcing us to use a noisy space heater.

The room was large and beautiful, everything was exceptionally clean and new. The staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely - and with such an incredible view! I highly recommend Rast Hotel. The location is excellent - you're metres from a main street but you don't hear the noise, and you're a 5min walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

The staff went out of their way to serve one, its loation is perfect in the Old City area, I would certainly go there again.

Fantastic location. We were within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar and also near many shops and restaurants. We were able to pop back to the hotel several times a day. Hotel staff were very pleasant, helpful and informative. Breakfast on the terrace offered fantastic view and was a great way to start the day. Room was clean.

The pillows could have been better. Only one elevator so the wait could be long sometimes. However, there are only 6 floors so taking the stairs is a viable option.

Magnificent views from the balcony and room! Spacious room, very comfortable bed fabulous large balcony. Very friendly staff in all areas of the hotel.

Great little hotel with excellent location. Good value for money without the frills of bigger hotels. Sufficient for our needs, clean and friendly. Receptionists Taha and Happy were really great - assisted us with all of our needs during our 3 nights at this hotel.

The breakfast is pretty minimal - could get very boring if you stayed there for long. But by Turkish standards, it is most acceptable.
