Location is excellent for Istanbul sightseeing. Good access to trams and all major sights. Roof terrace has great views. Our room also had a lovely balcony with a great view. Meeting at airport was efficient and reliable. No alcohol served in hotel. It would have been lovely to have a nightcap on the terrace. Transport back to the airport had to be paid in cash, this meant I had to change more money.

Wonderfully situated in the Old Town of Istanbul, breathtaking view on Ayasofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace & the seas from the breakfast terrace. Wonderful breakfast self-service choice, guests served with a smile and happines by Sevi & Fatimah... Perfectly clean room with good beds and in the bathroom a shaving mirror... What could one whish for more? We'll go back to Istanbul, and to the Rast Hotel !

It's central location - you can walk anywhere in the centre form there. Also the number of good restauarnts nearby. The view from room 501 was very good indeed

The staff is very friendly and helpful, I would like to thank Sevgi and Fatma for providing nice service as well as the reception staff for their competent advice and operative help with transfer and etc. The absence of tea/coffee drinking facilities in the room, especially when you travel with parents who likes to drink tea)) anyway generally the hotel is ok.

Although we had just booked a standard room, as soon as we arrieved they changed it for much better room with a beautiful view of blue mosque. The hotel was well located, it was clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was rich and varied, the bed was very comfortable (perhaps a little bit too comfortable cause we couldn't get up in the morning) The Grand Bazaar is about 600 meters from the hotel. Following the tram tracks on foot you can safely walk throughout the city as it is located in a strategic area. We loved our stay in the Rast Hotel and we highly recommend it to everyone. They are are doing construction work in the last floor, so it is quite noisy. But if you are touring the city and you are outside the hotel, you do not hear noise.

The location was exellent for the major sites and everything was in walking distance including tram line and many restaurants. Staff was very frendly and welcoming. Triple room that we have was nice and clean. The amazin rooftop view and good breakfast.On our leave they gave us CD with instrumental turkish music as present and it was very nice. I will definitely reccommend this hotel to everyone.

It was very near to the bazar, sea side is near by as well! It was a bit expensive but overall was ok to stay for a short period of time! Breackfast was excellent.... I will definitely recommend it to others and will soon go again :-)

Very well located... Just 5 minutes walking to the Blue Mosque and 10 to the Museum of Sophia. The location couldn't be better. The are is very safe and offers a lot of restaurants. Also there's a tram's line very close, in case you need to go to another place far away. The staff is great, very helpful! And the view from the breakfast is amazing! There's no complain, since the price is a hotel value for money.

Location, views from top restaurant, friendly personel. We arrived at the hotel and it was overbooked but the manager offered us a free diner and a free tranfer to the airport and put us for one night in a neighbour hotel. Room was too hot and it was not possible to regulate the airconditioning. Bathroom a bit small
