The hotel is centrally located to the main city sights and the Cemberlitas tram station which makes it easy access from the airport. The sound proofing in the room could have been better |

The hotel is well located, ideal for 3-5 days stay for the purpose of sightseeing and souvenir shopping. Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi and Grand Bazaar as well as, numerous restaurants are withing short walking distance. It's really nice to have breakfast on the terrase of the hotel with beautiful view on old buildings, churches and the channel. |

We liked the location of the Hotel as it was close to major tourist attractions and tram stations which was just a short walk away. It was very convenient to get around from here and the hotel was just nice for a quiet stay. Facilities were modest but adequate and staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed a total of 4 days and you get tired of the same breakfast served every morning. |

The staff were very friendly and the receptionists spoke good English. The terrace restaurant has a magnificent view over the Bosphorus and the two main mosques. The hotel was very clean and the neighbourhood was nice and peaceful. The light of the room was not sufficient, one lamp did not work, there was no soap holder in the bathroom, nor was there a toothpaste. |

the hotel location was excelent for the cultural areas of Istanbul, Close to the tramway stops. The staff at reception and in the breakfast romm were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic views from the roof terrace over Sultanahmet. Breakfast choice was sustantial. Bedroom a little on the small side, and bath small. |

The staff were helpful and pleasant. Good choice at breakfast with amazing views over the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Rooms were spotlessly clean. All the major sights were withing easy reach of the hotel. Recommended. |

Excellent location right in the heart of everything. One of the light fittings in the bedroom wasn't working making reading difficult and the room didn't have any writing material not even a biro. |

I would recomend Rast Hotel to anyone!!! I had an awesome time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly even though i changed to a different room and brought extra guest at the last minute. They do try to speak and understand english. The facilities are very clean and modern. The only thing, i would suggest is that more variety with breakfast menu for Vegeterains |

The hotel has a very good location close to Grand Bazaar, tram and Cultural sights. The Staff was very service minded and kind. Fantastic beds and beddings. When we arrived the correct rooms were not available but that was sorted out the next day so that made up for the unconveniance. |

The view from the top floor/breakfast room was amazing! The reception desk staff, breakfast staff, cleaning staff and shuttle staff were all very nice and accomodating - all spoke English - which was nice! The location is excellent - easy walk to everything in the old city, especially all the tourist sites. Our room was being cleaned when we arrived at 3:30pm but they gave us complimentary coffee, tea and snacks on the rooftop restaurant while we waited. |

Our arrival flight was delayed by four hours. Still there was somebody waiting for us at the airport and the room was kept ready on our arrival at the hotel ( this is especially necessary when one is travelling with small kids ) . The view of the Blue Mosque and Aya sofya was spectacular from the roof top breakfast restaurant. On our way back we took the taxi arranged through the hotel. Would prefer if the airport drop off is included as part of the package ( to escape from the notorious Istanbul taxi drivers - got charged for 33 TL from Sultanahemt to Taksim for a regular fare of around 10 TL ). |

The locaton was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was definitely big enough, even the triple rooms. Breakfast was very good with a great view! I would definitely stay there again. I also really like that the manager reads and responds to all reviews. I have never seen that before! :-) The only small things were the annoying hair dryer which does not stay on by itself, you have to hold it the whole time, and the tiny TV..........but why would you ever stay in the room and watch TV if you are in such a fabulous city like Istanbul! |

The staff were extremely friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. One of the staff helped us find a really good all-day tour and also helped us make the best of our stay in Istanbul. Loved the location of the hotel...everything is just few minutes away. I would definitely stay at the same hotel when I visit again! |

The location in beetween mosces, the roof topp-terrace sometimes a slight smell of toilet through the ventilation system, but since it was not very hot we could turn it of, maybe a problem during summertime |

Excellent location, extremely helpful staff and very good service, terrific view from the terrace, tasteful interior and decoration. Liked it a lot and would definitely recommend to our friends and relatives! The air condition system was adjusted for heating and it was very hot and difficult to breathe at night and impossible to switch A/C for cooling; Breakfast is OK, but you would expect more from the hotel of this level. |

We had a wonderful week-long stay in Rast Hotel in Sultanahmet, Istanbul, and commend the staff for being so helpful and friendly (we stayed with a 5-month old baby). They have a stunning view of old Istanbul from the roof-top restaurant. We found Rast hotel a convenient base for our explorations of Istanbul. Nothing major: When we arrived, one of the bedcovers was not as clean as we would have wished, but that was changed the following day. Would be nice if guests could alter temperature settings inside the room because we found it frequently too hot and dry. That's all. |

the hotel is totally convienient (walking distance) to most all major cultural sites in Istanbul.the metro is one hundred meters away. it is small hotel with a dedicated and helpful staff. the breakfast buffet on the top floor has wondervul view the mosques and the Bosporus. i would stay again and recommend the hotel to the independent tourist. |

The location was ideal for accessing so many of the main attractions in the old part of Istanbul, e.g. the Blue Mosqu and Grand Bazaar. The dining area where a pleasant breakfast was served was wonderful. |
