Set in a 800-year-old stone mansion with Arabic architecture, the historic Dara Konagı in Mardin offers stone rooms with plasma TVs and minibars. For relaxation, there is a hot tub and a garden.
Score from 184 reviews Very good
Zinciriye Hotel is in a centuries-old stone building just 82 ft from Mardin’s historic handicraft bazaar. It features a rooftop dining terrace with mountain views and rooms with arched stone ceilings....
Score from 134 reviews Very good
Situated in the centre of Mardin, Izala Hotel has a restored historical building with stone exteriors and a courtyard. The hotel offers a terrace with castle and Mesopotamia Valley views.
Score from 80 reviews Wonderful
Hilton Garden Inn Mardin is surrounded by wide plateaus, offering views of the Mesopotamia Plateau and the old city of Mardin.
Score from 87 reviews Very good
The staff were polite and helpful and it was a good location. Some rooms in the hotel have a great view. There are three nice terraces out the back.
My room was quite small and faced a brick wall. But there are nicer rooms if you can get them.
the terrace has good view
staff english is fair
Well located. Wonderful view from the hotel's terraces and balconies. Nice large well equipped room for a reasonable price.
Staff were good but not overly friendly and welcoming in some instances. The power kept going off regularly -this May be a problem in Mardin generally?
Location on the main street in the old part of town. View over valley below from the restaurant. Good regional meals.
Room we had did not have a view
All is perfect !!!
Nothing to say, only one recommendation: The hotel should serve beer and wine as a minimum.
The view out the window was beautiful. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace. We had an especially good time sitting under an umbrella on a non-restaurant terrace and talking with friends.
No black coffee nor black tea in the room.
We stayed at the hotel for two bights at 108 eur. We ha a room facing a wall, but as the price was very good for three people it was okay. Otherwise I woudl complain since the room faced a wall and we did not have much light. The from rooms have very nice view though. The staff is nice too, but a bite slow
The food was so so, the service at the restaurant was slow. Most probably they are understaffed. Otherwise the staff was nice
location, staff, eating areas, food, view
Bedding - no top sheet,
The staff were excellent with good English skills for the most part. They were helpful in providing information about Mardin and assisting with a tour. The hotel was very quiet, clean.Wifi was very fast and always accessible.
Comfortable rooms, the best on my SE Turkey trip. Excellent breakfast - with view ! Good location on main street in Old Mardin, but no noise in room.
The hotel did not respond to an e-mail question before my stay - could have been a deal-breaker because I almost cancelled my reservation. Luckily I didn't. If a hotel advertises an e-mail address it MUST respond. The restaurant was not really open in the evenings, only 2 dishes were available, lentil soup, probably from the breakfast buffet, and a single kebab dish. So I went to Antik Sur across the road for an excellent meal. And the room itself did not have a view, however the magnificent terrace was only a few steps away.
房间干净，热水稳定 ... 楼顶的风景非常好，部分高等级的房间也有很好的景色 ... 可以帮忙叫车去机场
没有"Do Not Disturb"的门牌 ... 餐厅的午饭晚饭略贵，但在这小地方还算一个可行的选择
The hotel is centrally located. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Parking is an hassle. You have to call the hotel within a mile prior to your arrival and ask for a valet to park the car.
We have a room with a balcony that has an amazing view to Mezapotamia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and if I go to Mardin it will be my choice if stay again. As a location it is close to all of the must see places.
position, cleanliness very nice view of mesopotamian plains
could not drink a bottle of wine on the terrace. the sink leaked difficult to clean the toilet
The lokation is excellent - in the midle of old Mardin - on the main street, so that taxi or rentacar can stop at the entrance of the hotel. (A lot of small streets are just for donkeys - indeed!) The view from the terase in fabelous, the whole Mesopotamia is in front of you... The breakfast is good.
Not everybody in the hotel speaks english, but they are very kind and willing to help.
It was targetted choice thanks alot
I don't remember any negative situation
Location is old city which is very good for tourists.
The location is good and the facilities are comfortable
The description on Booking.com mentioned a view. In fact my room opened onto a wall and was totally dark, even at noon. The reception desk employees were also a bit stiff... In short I was disappointed.
People working in the hotel are supernice, eager to help. I had a huge room (305) with views over Mesopotamia and 2 big TV screens. Wifi works fast and hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful Mardin. Worthy to visit, completely different from Istanbul :)
Very, very nice hotel, with nice view and good location.
Warm welcome from the receptionists, the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful also. The location of the hotel is ideal. The breakfast and the food was very good.
My only suggestion is that such a fantastic place would serve alcohol.
A/C in the room is controlled from the reception, so when I wanted to adjust the temperature or turn up the fan, I had to call them. The most idiotic system ever. On top of that: they didn't get it two out of three times I called, so nothing happened. It added to a general sense that the hotel is poorly managed.
A four star experience. Wonderful setting overlooking the vast plain. Great breakfast on the terrace. Professional staff.
I prefer the fresh air of open windows but the early morning call to prayer was quite jarring. Staff's English needs polishing.
