Friendly staff, view from roof terrasse, reasonable price. Rooms were OK.
Friendly staff, great location. Beautiful view. Cosy spot on the hill. Good value.
The owner is very nice person, who takes care travelers. The dinning place has a beautiful view.
Limited choices of breakfast. Limited parking space.
nice place, very friendly staff, excellent view over the city
By far the best place we stayed in our trip. Nice view from the dining area on the roof. Host was great, offered us delicious home-made food at a low cost and was glad to help us to plan our trip. Rooms are simply decorated but clean.
Don't follow Google Maps! it will get you out of town when the hotel is near downtown!
Staff are nice and friendly. It's on the hill, so you can see panorama on the balcony of the hotel, very nice.
Its commanding position and proximity to attractions
Dogs barking all night.
Warm welcoming like grandparents' home. Comfort, calm and clean room. Terrace view is magnificient that i never seen. Iksan always help me to enjoy wonderful moment in Selcuk. Hotel location doesn't matter.
I loves the care and attention we received the fresh food cooked, all at good price. Loved the view.
Bed was hard.
Iksan was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, he is also a great cook. Location was terrific, and in the evening the view of the citadel from the terrace was magnificent.
Gorgeous views from the rooftop terrace, a great place to stay.
The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.
The hotel is situated at 10 minutes downhill walking away from city center. The view and the sunset from this hotel is the only reason to stay there. The staff is friendly and they speak a little bit English.
The parking is quite difficult to do it in a narrow, sloping street, there is no a real parking there. The hotel request a major renovation at least the bathrooms. The isolation is poor and its a lot of noise from street and from other rooms. The price is high comparing with the conditions, but I suppose is the price of the area, a lot of tourists visiting Efes.
Nice view, Very Very Very Kind staff. They are wonderful.
You should walk down to slope about 10~15min from central. But they provide pick-up service. The hotel should improve bathroom facility. The experience in the hotel was very good, but bathroom was too hard...
Good location to see Ephesus. We walked from the pension. Nice setting. Great views from the rooftop eating areas (one enclosed and one open). The breakfast was great. We had a fish dinner one night that was very good. Very friendly family owned and run.
Setting was absolutely wonderful.
The staff were very friendly the view to the castle was great, but the hotel itself was very tired.
The owner and his family Amazing breakfast Gorgeous view Lovely building, very clean
Sparse room but was very clean A bit far from attractions in the area but it was a great walk, close to trains
Good view, good breakfast and good staff.
I can't say enough about the staff! They are awesome, kind, and wonderful people who really care about those who are their guests. My own family could not have been more helpful! The owner discovered that I had a flat tire on my car the morning I left. He went into town, found someone who came, took the tire off, took it with him to his shop, returned the tire and put it on my car and I was on my way in just a little over an hour! All this and it cost me about $15! I use a cane to get around, and the owner always seemed to be aware of when I needed a helping hand or needed help getting the car pulled in tightly enough. He made my stay so much easier, I can only say thank you many times over. The view from the hotel is spectacular. It is near the top of one of the hills that overlooks the town. This gives you a wonderful view of both the town and the ruins which are on top of another hill. My stay was delightful - I felt very much at home and at ease while I was there. I would have stayed longer if I had had the time!
I can't say that there is anything I didn't like about this place. Because of its location, it can be difficult to wind your way to the top through the very narrow and winding streets to get there. And parking can be difficult, but the owner is more than willing to be helpful with that situation.
The owner is very helpful and friendly. He even picked me up to the city center and then gave me a direction on how to reach the hotel by foot from the town. Although it is not in the town, I love the fact that the place is very quiet and you could reach it by walking from the town center.
Spectacular sunset views from roof terrace - perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Owners very friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for more.
Friendly staff. It feels like at home. it was family-runnung hotel. good wifi signal. nice price. Breakfast was good. in the morning, the owner cooked us fresh eggs which was really good.. I guess that eggs were new-laid eggs in that morning. Also it locates in the hillside. you can see the excellent view of the Selzuk in the night
Room was a little bit small(but comparing to the Istanbul's some hostel, it wasn't that small actually). Toilet is out-dated. To get to the hotel, you should take 10 minutes walk from the center of the town(bus station). and i think for first visitors it's a little bit hard to find. But it isn't that much far if you get to know the route, and the family offers free pick-up service when you get Selzuk. so it's not the problem, I think
The owner was very friendly and was very accomodating during our stay, offering to help us with transportation to and from the bus station. In our 10 day trip to Turkey, this was definitely our favorite place to stay. The hotel is nicely situated with a short 5-10 minute walk from the main city center. The accomodations were very clean and the breakfast buffet was quite tasty.
We loved the hotel's location: a short walk from town along the line of the ancient aqueduct, and perched on a hill with superb views and a welcome breeze as you eat breakfast! Iksan was warm, friendly and very helpful, picking us up when we arrived in the middle of the night and dropping us off again at the bus staion when we left. All in all we enjoyed our stay in Selçuk very much and would happily return to the Rilican.
The staff was nice, didn't speak much english tough or had any touristic info. It's is extremely quite.
It is not in the center of the village is far for the village size and as a female travelling alone it wasn't nice to walk on my own back to the hotel when it was already dark. Room a very poor and beds and pillows are not confortable at all. I wasn't happy at all with my choise. For what is worth it to see in Selçuk you should pick accomodation at the other side of the railways which is where the town really is.
