OK it's a cheap hotel, but the accommodation standard was not good. The room was very dark and basic (the photo on the website is flattering) with little attempt at decoration or homeliness. The bathroom was very poor - tiny shower with wonky shower-head and variable heat of water; cheap plastic loo seat which needs fixing in place. I understand the bathrooms are gradually being renovated, so we must have been unlucky and got an old one!
Excellent position with lovely restaurant area by the riverside. Slightly out of town so peaceful as well. Manager and staff were generally friendly, polite and helpful. Food was generally ok, good choice at breakfast (though always the same). Nice pool and choice of places to sit in the grounds; some shady, some sunny. Though we booked independently, the Travel One rep (Bill) was very helpful to us and offered advice when we arranged our own 'mini-trip' to Istanbul.
