Rixos Downtown  

I've been to other hotels in Turkey of a similar rates in the same holiday so I could easily compare. -The hotel inherits the beautiful design and landscapes from the former Sheraton. - The staff generally was helpful despite the crowdness and work-load. - There were good toiletiaries at the beginning of our stay (BVLGARI) but later on changed to something less quality. - The reception gave us a complimentary check-in juice ! - The breakfast buffet was varied and big. - The hotel lobby, pool...etc kept cleaned and organized. - We ordered twice form room service, and it was nice and presented in a nice way.

- The hotel mentions the name "downtown" although it's 30 min walking from downtown and farer than other hotels. -There was no conceriege service when we arrived , and no bell boy to carry our bags at10:00 pm. - The hotel took the whole payment on advance. - The reception didn't explain any details about the room, hotel and services, and I had to ask them everything before going to the room. - The room inherits the old design of luxury hotels in the 90s.There were no modern desing or gadgets. - We specifically asked and paid for a sea view room, when we walked in we found that the room is not completely facing the sea, we asked for a change and they promised to do so the next morning.Guests kept coming and leaving but we didn't get what they promised. -The beach is down the cleff so you had to walk for a distance or take the hotel's shuttle bus, it's not attached to the hotel. - The hotel services are centered around groups coming from Russia, Iran..etc , so we never felt valued as individual guests in a 5 star hotel. - We stayed 6 nights, we had our room cleaned two times only, despite that we left our room for more than 2 hours every morning and put on the cleaning sign! -There was no complimentary items in the room, like fruits, sweets..etc like other 5 star hotels. -There was no replacement of the complimentary one bottle of water and the cups for the tea/coffee were removed but not returned. - The tours agency recommended by the hotel were expensive but not up to the standards , no vale for the money we paid. - There were constant parties late at night which was a bit noisy until after midnight (again for the groupies) - In the resturant, we had to wait for a clean table and usually don't get the full attention and service of the busy staff because of huge number of guests.Sometimes I had to bring napkins, glasses and silverware to the table by myself! I wouldn't recommend this hotel for those looking for individual guests 5 stars service.

The hotel design and style is very appealing and the staff (most of them) were extremely helpful. The guest services guy very helpful in assuring that we sat with friends for the NEw Year's Gala dinner.

The problem with 5 star hotel in Antalya is that they are mostly all veneer and very little else. The Rixos Downtown is no exception. I booked a "deluxe" room with "sea view" but the view nor "deluxe" was there. It is one of the few hotels that does not offer 1or 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water in the room. I asked for an iron but was told they it was not available and that I would have to pay for an ironing service. The WiFi was a disappointment and I ended up not using it at all. It was very restrictive and had terrible bandwidth (but that's common in Antalya). Breakfast was of average quality (I.E. not appetizing)... And there was a surprise: juice is not included!!! That's right. You have to pay extra for juice - any kind of juice.

Great hotel for its price. Staff is polite and friendly, breakfast is good, rooms are new and well furnished, AC works fine. Hotel beach is clean and has everything you need.

Hotel beach can be reached only by hotel bus/taxi, and the bus comes once an hour. Half an hour period would be better.

Location, luxury, hotel staff,kitchen, breakfast is very nice with lots of choices.. Swimming pool, tranquility,piano performance in the lobby at evening times, nice spa, gym is excellent: modern SIgnatutre and Optima equipments from lifefitness. Couch, name as I member Mesup(sorry if I am wrong) is professional and very attentive. Marina from guest relations also is very kind and helpful with guests. Okan from outside swimming pool also is very attentive with guests.. In brief I recommend this hotel to everyone. P.S. I had reservation of land view, but with same price, hotel staff sent me in room with sea and mountains view and that was really marvelous. Thank them for that!

Lots of cats in breakfast area. For kids some animation could be ok

I didn't like because the are paying for eveything even for just seen what films they have installed 11 eur per film . it was a great hotel but for water to pay 15eur and for parking car 25eur for 1 night I think it is too much

This was my second time staying at the Rixos Downtown and it was just as perfect as the first time. Although I had stayed months before, Sezgin at the front desk remembered all the details from our conversation the previous time. He was extremely helpful and I had equally pleasant experiences with the spa, restaurant, and club staff. If you figure out the bus system, it's very easy to access the Rixos from both the bus station and the airport. Just hop on the 600 bus and tell the bus driver where you'd like to get out. Don't forget to stop by the Antalya Museum - it's within walking distance and shouldn't be missed!

Great, is the best word to describe the hotel. Location, staff, food, comfort, view, every thing was excellent and for sure next time I will stay at the hotel. It deserve 7 stars.

The name downtown is misleading this is not downtown hotel the internet was not perfect

Juice was not included in the bb boarding basis. added a service charge which I believe I already covered with the room rate.

Our room has a great ocean view with good facilities, the hotel stuff are very helpful. When the stuff knew this is our honeymoon trip, they offered us complimentary deserts and fruit platers, which was very considerate. The breakfast is good as well.

Comfortable rooms and well situated to the city and beach, surrounded in a park landscape.

They have one of the best concierge I have experienced in my over 20 years of travel. They are provide client support from scheduling events such as renting boats, river rafting, and scuba diving. I cannot overstate my satisfaction with the guest relations team.

Is located a bit far from everything. A car rental is the smarter choice

I loved the hotel interior where is reminds me of the 90s luxurious hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location is lovely. Sea view is a must have.
