Rixos Taksim Istanbul  

Not far away from Taksim square. Rooms spacious and comfy.

Breakfast is average. Still we've to pay for Internet in rooms, while its free in corridors !.

This is the friendliest hotel I ever stayed and its not surprise that guests return year after year. holidayed here for 5 days 29 April-3 May 2013 with my wife and 7 years son,and I can honestly say it is one best places I have ever stayed. From the minute we arrived and was met by Esra who took care of us and helped us alot we felt welcomed. Check in was easy and smooth, at reception also made us feel welcome.This hotel was very clean and our apartment was spacious and well equipped, the food was excellent with a wonderful variety. Its the quietest hotel i ever stayed in. the hotel made us love Istanbul so much and will defiantly go back very soon to this hotel.

I did not like the hotel location , I did not like the entrance to the hotel . I did not like the looby . I did not like the room as it is triping Hazard . When I arrived they arrange for me two rooms one for me and my wife in one part of the the hotel and my twio doughters in the other part of the Hotel . In the first day we all stayed on one room and then the following day they provided one room for my doughters in the same floor . I have never seen looby with no sigle sitting place for the visiters . The internet service is very poor as we have to pay for it double for the I phones of my wife as well as mine . Most of the time it is not working . This hotel is not good at all .

booking number. 823933114,jun 1 to jun 4 .total price 2,363.25+12 for internet=2,375.25 which i suppos to pay .they refuse to take cash in TL ,and make me pay 2,437.00 TL according to the date currancy rate by credit card ,which added 120 TL more to my payment in KD ( 378 to 395 ) .

The Hotel and rooms were clean and well decorated. Gym and spa was good

Location is very bad on a hill and not as close to Taqseem square as described. Staff were extremely unpleasent - not courteous at all. Breakfast area is very small and crowded

I liked the improvement in hotel staff and specially the check in and check out; they are great now

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful without exception. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable.

It is next to a building site so the walk to Taksim is noisy and dusty. This is not the hotels fault of course.

When they finally moved me to one of their suites. They are something else, spacious, well designed, awesome. But pricey as hell.

At first my room was facing the construction yard, so I requested a change and got a room with a broken air condition, so room was extremely hot. Furthermore I needed to get some stuff done by the front desk and they failed to do so (even though they had promised to handle it) and they didn't even take time for a phone call to tell me they couldn't provide the service. Finally I managed to talk to the manager who was nice enough to upgrade me to the suite as a sign of an apology.

The construction beside hotel make every where full of dust. They did not mentioned about their small back building and room had covered window to construction area. Finally i paid more to upgrade room to main building.

The interior, room design, restaurant staff, the hotel is not far from the Taksim square (as it was promised however).

The Reception staff wasn't friendly, didn't try to explain us checking-in system of The Hotel, which is different from the ones of those where we stayed before. The room was to be with a good view ( as to the advertisement of the hotel) but the view appeared to be on the road!

strategically located with easy access to Taksim meydan, capable and knowledgable staff. excellent breakfast buffet. well designed rooms. Good value for money.

The studios are spacious and ultra-modern, everything works, Internet is fast. Staff was fantastic. They upgraded me upon arrival, the room had fruit and a bottle of wine waiting. Taksim Square (2 minutes walk from the hotel) is all dug up, and taxi drivers seem to be perpetually lost on how to find the place. I was several hours late to check out but reception staff was very accommodating and nice. Breakfast was great too. Note that this place is popular with families with children, so breakfast late tends to be quite a boisterous time!

Very little. There is a huge building site right under your windows but work was on some nights, and off some other nights. Good sound insulation but you will need good earplugs regardless.

Довольно просторные, новые, чистые номера. До площади Таксим 5-7 мин пешком.

Отель находится в грязном неуютном районе, вокруг стройка, окна некоторых номеров выходят прямо на нее. Чтобы выйти от отеля к цивилизации нужно идти по грязной дороге - тротуаров либо нет, либо они заняты строительной техникой. Лифты часто неисправны, лестница оттсутствует вообще.

I loved that they upgraded us to a suite.

Enormous suites, very well equipped. Short walk to Taxim square.

Next door to enormous 24 hour building site with incredibly noisy lorry movements right through the night. Hotel bar also tiny and unwelcoming, breakfast room overcrowded and lifts terrible.
