I liked some staff members such as Talipcan, Ramazan, the cook Serdar and the animation team members who were really caring people and made our holiday interesting despite of the poor quality of the hotel as a five star hotel.

Generally, as a five star hotel it was very poor. Although it was all-inclusive, the drinks were not free after 11 p.m. There was not even a juice among the drinks. The meal plan was very poor and there was lack of options. The hotel does not have a disco after 11 p.m there was not any entertainment. The service to the beach went only a few times and the last shuttle was coming at 5 p.m and it was too far to go on foot unless there is not a shuttle. The pool was too small and not deep. I stayed 5 days and there was not internet at all.

You get easily socialized since there is only one swimming pool. Staff were polite and cheerful. The barbecue was ok and the food appeared to be clean and fresh. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Night club tours were entertaining.

There is only one pool. :) The beach is a little bit far away from the hotel, so you have to go there by shuttle. They could add some entertainment alternatives.

Royal Arena is one of the best hotels I have ever been, the location is perfect. The view is amazing, the staff was very helpful and friendly. All in all amazing.

I didn't like only one thing. The internet is not very good

Good value for money; offered transfer from airport; had all facilities you could expect in such a location; food was good; good room with sea view; A/C worked very well

English proficiency of staff was limited; room was ok but not 5 star level; hotel aims to cater to all types of guests (incl. families with children), so for a young couple was not ideal, but acceptable; poor quality internet (but similar to other locations in Turkey)

This hotel has a great view over Gumbet Bay. The hotel serves a lot of food in dinner and has barbeque outside in the terrace. There is public transport every 2 minutes to the city. It costs 1 EURO one way. The night life is very very busy and there are a lot of things to do like shopping and party. Also a lot of water sports are available.

The location of the beach is not in Gumbet, where the hotel overlooks, but on the opposite side in Bitez Bay. This is a beach for family/public people. It is not 350 m as stated, it is 7 minutes ride with a van. The sand is like artificial, and it is kind of dirty at the beach. The sunbeds are very close to each other and the water is shallow. This is not a good beach. If you walk a little further you see other beach facilities from other resorts that are very beautiful. One good thing is that there is always wind and water is pretty cold, so it is refreshing. The staff at the hotel is obsessed with taking you plate, so you end up saying that you're not done. Staff at the reception is rude and has no information what is going on at the entertainment programme, ignorant. One of the major mistakes of the hotel, is that is serves diluted juices, and you have no real orange juice and coke has no gas for example. At the same time it serves lunch in the hotel, and the beach bar offers only some basic pasta and some diluted drinks during the day. Coffee was good at the beach, and the staff is extremely friendly, but the hotel management is obviously poor. Staff at the pool bar is a disaster. They gossip in Turkish thinking people don't understand. Very rude. Another guy at the bar says that he will repeat the menu only once, so listen carefully. They give a bad image to the hotel. Also the rooms are not very clean and the towels for the beach are filthy and worn out.

Some people from stuff are very nice and polite. They have good evening program

When we checked in they tried to cheat us for 100$ They gave not that room which one was in my order. It wasn't sea view it was wall view and 1 room without windows at all. Food!!! Their food defiantly not good. Sometimes they are giving something nice. But usually no! specially breakfast, nothing to eat!!!

Good value for the price, good location.

The property is on the sea but the private beach is miles away. Loud music late into the night, our sea view room was right under the restaurant/pool area so it was loud at night.

Very good view from lobby but poor from our room.

WiFi was restricted to only 1 device, it took 1 day to start working, very slow internet. Electricity in the room was interrupted many times till we understand how to fix the card holder. Car parking is very small, though the staff is taking care to park in the near streets.

Apart from the great and convenient location, the only other good thing about the hotel was the spa services. My wife and I were on our honeymoon here and wanted a relaxing experience and every time we were at the spa we felt relaxed. From the very first day at the spa throughout the 11days we were there the lovely young lady and her colleagues at the spa were amazing. They gave us a great package for my wife and I to get treatments together by professionals. Very clean always friendly staff. Great staff in the spa. Also guest relations in the foyer. There were 2 women. Didem and punimar. Their English was not too great but they always found ways to help us. Again very friendly and a pleasant face to see during the day.

So, as I mentioned, my wife and I are a young couple and we recently got married and just wanted to get away for a honeymoon where we could relax comfortably, no issues and do some activities. We booked 5* after seeing the reviews for this hotel and the lovely pictures we thought what an experience it would be for our first holiday together after marriage. We arrived midnight at the hotel and as soon as we got there we received absolutely ridiculous service from the duty manager called Ramzan. We did not get the room we booked and clearly stated on our itinery we had a sea view room we were given garden view and that too ridiculous as all we could see was the back of the next building. We had to wait till the next morning for other guests to check out in order for us to get a sea view room and that too was not cleaned properly. We gave them a whole day to sort out our room clean it etc and on every occasion falsely promised that we would return to a new room. We returned tot the room later in the evening only to find it still dirty. My first sign of it not being at 5* standard. Food at the hotel was nice something different everyday but for non alcoholic drinkers there is very limited options to soft drinks. The staff at the hotel especially the reception were very unhelpful. All the new guests get a hotel rep who provides excursion info and the hotel are in contact with this guy. When we asked for them to call him they lied and by they I mean duty manager in the morning mansur and said they don't know and don't have his number. The guy came in to the hotel that day and when we mentioned to him that the hotel don't have your number he told us they were lying they are in regular contact with him. On another occasion, we had gone to pamukalle and had been traveling for more than 12 hours. We got back after dinner ended. So we ordered take away, the guy Ramzan called for us as the other end did not understand English and he translated our orders.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially GORAN(Mr.Google) who has the answer to your every question. He is available for any information you need and does his best to make sure you enjoy your stay here. Location of hotel is good with the dolmus(mini van) stopping right outside. Another really helpful member of staff is Asi (Ms.Twitter) who makes sure you stay entertained throughout your stay. Overall a great experience.

The food is average. Selected items are great but overall a bit disappointing.

    Restaurant staff very friendly.

Room was cleaned only once in 4 days and it was a poor job. Reception staff understood it was our honeymoon and wanted our marriage certificate to proof it was our honeymoon for champagne but didn't provide it?? I wouldn't mind but we didn't ask for it. Evening meal food was poor. No entertainment at night.

We didn't ask for a room with sea view, although we got one. The view was just wonderful. The food was very nice. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The hotel is clean and has a wonderful spa and fitness. Staff is friendly. It's a nice hotel but doesn't deserve 5 stars.

The wifi wasn't working very well, we stayed one complete day without the possibility to go in internet. It's a nice hotel for people who doesn't want to relax: they start playing music at 11.00 and very hight... Don't even think to sleep. The last day, i left my luggage to the reception and someone else take it (by mistake). At the reception, they were very hepful and doing what they could to find it back, but still, it was their responsability.

This is the hotel in which I discovered that there is Paradise on earth. Our room had a really gorgeous view of the sea! Room was always clean and well organized. People at the front desk were ready to fulfill our every whim ! Osman was amazing ! Always very polite, with excellent English, very gallant , always smiling and ready to help! The food in the restaurant was the most diverse and extremely tasty. The hosts always cooked meals in the style of the Orient and Turkey. The service on the beach was also on high level ! Actually the service at each point of the hotel makes you feel like a God ! Talha from the shisha-bar was amazing ! Very accurate and big professional! We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy his holiday to 200%.

I liked the Hamam and received a wonderful deep tissue massage from a Balinese girl. Spa services were very nice.

Where do I start? When we checked in we were asked to pay in full upon checkin. I've never heard of this. We basically said no, we would pay day by day if that was what they wanted but we would not pay in full upon check in. They didn't like it, but they allowed us to pay at checkout in full. Read on and you'll see why we believe they want payment upfront. I didn't appreciate the mildew odor in the indoor pool area. The International Food options in the buffet were limited. It was almost all Turkish food. Some food options ran out only 1 hour after dinner began. If you like coffee - there is only a Nescafe machine. No real brewed coffee or real capuccino, only Nescafe. The water which mixes with the Nescafe was never very hot and the machine was always dirty. There are no pool towels in the outdoor pool area. You have to go downstairs 2 floors to ask the spa for towels and bring them yourself. This is the same at the beach so do not forget to bring your towels or you will not have any and there is no sign about this and no warning. You take a shuttle to the beach but you must first remember to go to the spa and ask for towels to bring to the beach. The beach shuttle runs late even though there is a schedule. We didn't appreciate the 30 minutes we waited for the shuttle to depart. There is a restaurant at the beach where you can eat as part of the all-inclusive package. Their menu is limited to pasta, burgers and salad anything different cost extra. Alcohol drinks cost extra (though they are free at the resort as part of the all-inclusive package). The pool is not heated and freezing. We wished there would've have been a hot tub out doors but the only one is in the spa and fits only 3 people. One night my child spilled hot cocoa on our placement on our table and the 'waiter' cleaned it and scrubbed it and went to rinse the towel and return for more scrubbing.
