Royal Maris Hotel  

I booked the room for 69 euros and that's what the staff member said he was charging my card. Their lira to euro exchange rate doesn't match reality because I was then charged 75 euros even though he clearly stated it would be 69.Their were no instructions for the airconditioner or remote & no manual saying what number to dial for reception. The water in the shower was coming back up the drain after 30 secs of showering. The good thing was I asked for a quiet room and it was. I think this hotel would suit backpackers, and probably noone else.

no single king size bed option, very rough matresses & towels. Top floor pool side restaurant always closed. AC in room is horrable. No hot water or cattle availaible in room. Most of the staff were rude and not good in english. Most importantly, ph calls from hotel were too expensive and charged extra as well. During check out, I saw few ph calls under my room which I didn't made. When I asked for details, they were not able to provide..

The location was perfect, the staff were really friendly and helpful and I had a sea view room which was very picturesque

My only complaint would be that I picked this hotel due to the fact that it had a gym and indoor swimming pool but everyday I wanted to use it the people who were suppose to be running it hadn't turned up so was unable to use all week. The staff were very apologetic about this and I was given a little discount off my bill but not enough to compensate the whole week.

Just across the street from the Mediterranean Sea in the middle (city center, etc.) of Marmaris. Everything can be reached by walking not more than 15 minutes. We got more than expected for the price we paid.

Spectacular vıew from our room. Marvellous sunrıse over the bay. Room very comfortable and receptıon staff very frıendly. Would defınıtely stay there agaın

The staff were very pleasant. The room was clean. The location was fantastic and only a short walk to the Bazaar and marina. The food was reasonable in the restaurant.

Location

For such a nice hotel in Turkey, they lacked on small things. No toilet paper, the hair dryer was falling apart in my room, so bad I got shocked. When I told them they gave me a key to another room to use that hair dryer, it did not work either.

Good stuff in hotel, convenient location in case of city trips, shopping, active night life. Best choice for young people 18-35 Y.O. Do not recommend this hotel for family trips with children’s and for old people.

1. Beach boy on the hotel's beach was quite agressive - he ask me about the hotel's card, I showed it to him, but he told that this card is from last year and what I do not live in this hotel now (he wants money from me for sunbed and umbrella). When I proof to him my staying in hotel, he just go away even without any excuses. I think Hotel mamagement could be more attentive when they hire the beach stuff (Stuff within the Hotel was very good). 2.The hotel's menu was tasty but too small (only one page). 3. The Hotel's beach is close to the port so the sea wasn't so clear. That's all about any negative.

The location is good because is not in the centre but nearby, so you can avoid the noise of the city traffic but can reach the most imposrtant shopping streets in few minutes' walking. Furthermoore the hotel is near to the beache ahd you can use their private one, with sun- bed and ombrella.

The staff was very, very rude. The guy who recived us at our arrival couldn't speak a good english and we did not undertsand him. For this reason he got( at least it was as he lookied like) very angry.

We stayed for 3 nights and the best thing was that the staff was very friendly and helpful..one of them even acted as a translator for us when trying to get to know some locals :) The location of the hotel suited us a lot as it is situated around the middle of the beach coast of marmaris...so we could walk to bar street and also to the other restaurants and pubs along the other side of the beach. The food prices were acceptable and the rooms were always well cleaned and arranged properly when we asked for it.

The hotel can improve a bit on the menu variety and mini bar items...but all in all it had the necessary stuff to have a comfortable stay
