Bed was abit too springy. Can hear them squeak with every movement.
Omar was very helpful in trying to accommodate our last minute requests for hot air balloon and airport transfer at 3.30 a.m. Thanks to his brother as well who woke up and called the airport transfer company when they did not show up after 30min.
Everything!!!. Hotel looked new and pretty. Room was clean and cozy. Very close to the bus station and many restaurants. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Breakfast room has a wonderful view. Most of all, Omar, manager, was so nice and helpful. He helped us to arrange everything for the green, red, and balloon tour, so our family enjoyed a wonderful time in Cappadocia without any problem.
wonderful trip, staff is really helpful to book everything, highly recommended.
Super friendly and very helpful English speaking staff, great location. Great breakfast, Large rooms. Lovely bathrooms. A calm and relaxing place to stay. Stayed four days, could easily have stayed longer.
The young man in the reception is very nice and very considerate for their guests. The homemade foods are tasty and big portions.
I had two day stay at this hotel. It's amazing. Located in the heart of cappadocia. Very cozy rrooms. Many tourism companies and restaurants around. Easy access from Neveshir airport for only 25 turkish lira. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
No hot water the first afternoon. Stairs do really need a handrail
Great location, great access to shops and dining. Enjoyed the orient restaurant opposite. Pleasant staff.
1. Wifi - a little bit slow
1. Location - very near to the town center 2. Room - spacious and comfortable 3. Great host - the family who runs the hotel are very friendly and can accommodate our requests 4. Price - very affordable 5. Breakfast - delicious breakfast especially the Turkish omelette, the breakfast room had a great view, overlooking the town and caves.
1. THE PILLOWS They were hard. I think a little investment in some down filled or softer pillows would go a long way.
1. THE ROOM ( King Suite ) Although the photographs displayed on Booking.com give a very false sense of size of the room, the room is pretty good. I think the photographs were done very well. In person, the room is much tinier and less " glamorous ". HOWEVER, the room, overall, is wonderful for its value. It has a beautiful stone bed and great hammam-style bathroom. The room was extremely comfortable. 2. THE CHEF AND HIS WONDERFUL FOOD The hotel has an amazing set of cooks : The mother and the chef. They both make wonderful dishes. The breakfast is fantastic and generous each day. The chef also liked to make delicious cheese dishes like Turkish pancake and omelettes with the most amazing gooey cheese coming out of them.
Information not properly relayed amongst the staff. Our luggage was delayed and the airport wanted to deliver our bags on the same day but late evening. Apparently, there was nobody manning the reception so phone calls were not picked up and even if it was, the person who checked us in did not relay the message to other staff to expect a phone call from the airport for the delivery of our bags. As a result, we only received our luggage the following day. We were stuck with the same clothes for 2 days after a 10 hour journey to get to Turkey!!!
Nice family-run pension and pleasant staff
...I couldn't stay longa as I wished
The guy on reception is warm and sweet with smile which impressed me very well at our first met. Later he was keep being considerated to provide ideas of the local tour plan and help the make balloon and tour reservation for coming days. The room is perfectly nice and spacious, with comfortable bed, 24-hour hot water, heating system, delicate decorations. I couldn't wait to share photos of the room with my friends. They hotel is runned by a family and make the hotel feels like home. I was invited for dinner which earased the loneliness in a different place even I have get used to traveling alone. What I found later, they provide delicious breakfast every day and everyone in the hotel are extremely kind and hospitable. The dining is on the roof top, with nice day and nice view of the town. I like sitting there with a cup of tea, and look at the view outside the window, without thinking anything..what a fantastic enjoyment ! I planed to stay one night, eventually , i stay for 3 nights. It is a precious experence I have never had. I miss everything there. Like other customers saying, if I gonna visit Goreme again, it must because of Safran Cave Hotel.
The best Staff I've ever met. Friendly, helpful and nice. This is an easy family run hotel. The Safran is very good located, the down-town is only 5 min walk, but it is not on a busy road. The breakfas was abundant for us, a tipical Turkish breakfast (chees selection, olive selection, tahina, vegetables, jam, honey, egg, cold meat, chees gözleme, omlet, bread selection, tea, coffee, juice selection, milk, etc...). If we went to Göreme again, we definitely would book the room in Safran.
Cold in the room during winter, always lost wifi connection, shower not warm enough in winter
Very kind and helpful staff help us a lot for the trip in goreme
Very friendly and helpful staff, great location
we stay in Goreme for 4 days.very nice people, delicious food, perfect location.thanks Omar and Erden for their help.and the balloon which Omar booked for us was amazing.he will be our choice for next time.
Can't think about it. The snow blizzard is not their fault right? Yet with the snow, I even had a great time there!
I stayed in Goreme for a short visit last week. I was aware that this hotel is family-run hotel, but I never expected that I would experience a great stay with high standard hospitality and service quality, with a sincere gesture from the whole family. I love the way they help us during our stay. They arranged our transportation to the Whirling Dervish ritual that we saw on the first night, with no charge! One of the son, Omar, also helped us in purchasing our bus ticket to our next destination. They even helped taking us to the bus station which is very near from the hotel, because of the snow. I love the breakfast. It's like having breakfast at my own home. The omelette was amazing. Not to mention the view. I had it while looking at the city view covered with snow (it was a cold day...) I need to mention the room. It's beautiful. I also love the sofa at the receptionist room so much that I took a picture of it!. hahaha Bottom line, I really love our stay there, and definitely will think about the Safran family if I visit Goreme again. I forgot 1 thing: They helped me to book our day tour. The tour was great!!
wifi is so weak and slow unfortunately even close to router
fair location, short walking distance to Goreme center even not in the town itself; staff is friendly and helpful, providing tour info after hotel booking; breakfast is good, especially cheese omlet...
I was worried about forcing me to buy the tour program. But, Unlike other review, the manager did not force me to use the hotel's program. I've heard that the manager who is the son of hotel owner has operated this hotel newly since Jan. and the former hotel staff who forced the tour got fired. The hotel manager is very hadnsome and generous. He and staffs treat with my friends like a family. we are very satisfied with their service and specailly breakfast was so perfect and fresh. There is a chef who offers chease pancake or omplet. It was really yummy. Wifi was very fast. The location was very near Terminal and restaurants. Specially, In the teras, we could enjoy wonderful view. What I love the most is the location of plug. It was very convenient to charge and use anywhere such as next to bed or table. Everything was perfect. I am willing to visit again and again. I am veyr appreciate with the hotel manager and staffs.
Wifi is a little bit slow
Kind, clean, good location, delicious breakfast
Very nice peple, nice food, excellent Wi-Fi, , Omar is trying to help us in everythig. All the best.
Great family run hotel, cosy, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast delicious and evening meals. Perfect location to get around the town. Highly recommended. Thanks to kind staff and Erdem, good tour guide!
The tours that they sell is way too expensive, especially the balloon tour. (They called 180 euros but the other travel agencies offered the balloon tour at 100 euros for the same balloon company) Don't buy the tours at the hotel. Go to several travel agencies near autogar (bus terminal) and compare the price. And other tourists from the other hotels also did the balloon tours at about 100 to 110 euros. After this, the staffs didn't look so reliable.
The rooms are very cozy and clean. The shower was good and the beds were comfy. The wifi signal was strong.
I love Safran hotel. Staff is very helpful and the room is comfy. I would recommend to everyone.
We stayed at this hotel in winter, but room and water were warm. The breakfast was very nice. Golzleme was so tasty! Also, the staffs I met in the dining room were so kind.
Owned and runned by one family that is very kind and educated.
