Excellent location for old town Istanbul I had to go to the hotel lobby to get wi-fi connection. I think this is terrible for a hotel, I get better connection in hostels.

Friendly staff Excellent location Comfortable room Nice breakfast selection Perhaps for someone with mobility difficulties climbing into a bath to have a shower is not ideal. However it was not a problem for me but not ideal for my wife.

This is the place if you want great location and staff with good rooms, and excellent value. Basically, if you're out in the old town during the day or want quick access to new city, this is the place to stay. Everything you need.

Everything! We tried to think of a negative and could NOT FIND ONE! We had a super welcome with all the city info we required. This hotel has it all...Location...food... brilliant staff...super power shower. Cant wait to go back there.

There is one word to best describe the Hotel's spirit: ali.... He is the hotel manager, and as soon as we arrived gave us great and useful tips about the city, greeting us with a welcome drink and a sweet. His english is really good, and he is ready to help you anytime you shall need. The room was comfortable and breakfast excellent. Not only ali, but the rest of the staff is friendly, without exception. Hotel is amazingly located!!!! Walking distance to SultanAhment square and on a street filled with restaurants, especially the Hatay Restaurant, close to the hotel. Ali, thanks from Brazil, we hope to see you soon! Only thing that was not so good was that the walls are thin, and we were unlucky with some local tourists that were very loud at night.... But even so, totally recommend

We've stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in the beginning of May. There is nothing you could not like about this place, everything from the location to the front-desk service was excellent. We've had many friends traveled to Istanbul before and staying in other hotels and the breakfast at Sapphire is not you typical Turkish one, on the contrary it is MUCH better - vast in choice, always fresh and delicious (every morning there are freshly cooked to order eggs)! Nothing is a trouble for the hotel's staff, which definitely made our stay pleasant and unforgettable. We had an early flight, but they were able to check us in before the check-in time. If you're looking for a perfect place to stay in Istanbul we highly recommend this hotel!

Rooms are comfortable. Mattress was especially comfortable. Location can't be beaten - just a minute walk to the tram and about 7 minutes walk up to Sultanahmet and about 5 minutes down to the water and the ferries. The staff were really attentive and friendly.

The hotel location is superb, only a few minutes walk to the main historical attractions, as well as the metro station. Ferry station is only a 10-min walk away. The neighborhood is lively with many great restaurants. Staff is super friendly and helpful, even gave us a little gift while checking out! Breakfast was a bit boring. Room is small.
