No lift to some of the rooms. Bathroom could do with a revamp.

Excellent helpful staff Good breakfast

The staff were really helpful and constantly available (24 X 7). They seemed committed to making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The location is fantastic for walk-around sight seeing.

My wife felt that a lower (less floors) room would have been better (it suited me fine). We found that meals at the roof-top restaurant were a bit slow arriving but maybe that was a busy evening for them.

This is a great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was a little shabby and it was difficult to believe it had been refurbished in 2011. Cleaning equipment was left in hallways on display and our room was very small.

The location of the hotel could not be better. The staff are genuinely committed to giving advice and recommendations to guests to ensure they get the most from their stay.

The room I had was a good size but had a "window" which looked out on to an inner stair well. Although cool outside it was very warm in the room and there was no natural light - a bit claustrophobic to say the least. The hotel offers a free airport transfer service but this is not extended to booking.com customers. The latter are charged 20 Euros each way for this service.

Our stay at this hotel left us with mixed feelings. On the plus side, the staff is great and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a great selection for all tastes and the room/s clean. It is also in a very good central location in Sultanahmet for walking to the main attractions in the area.

The first room we were given was spacious (a triple) and the bathroom a good size, but they apparently had to move us after the first night because they needed that particular room for another party which wouldn't have been so bad except the next room they gave us was quite small and pokey and the bathroom much smaller and it was on the top floor with no lift. The beds in both rooms were quite hard, but the second one was the worse and so I had to lay two extra doonas underneath for comfort. The walls are very thin and you can here everything going on in the next room, (and down the hall) not least also because there was a connecting door into the next room from our second room. There was no hot water for 2 out of our four day stay so you need to time your showers on either side of the rush.The call to prayer whilst expected is extremely loud and out of sinc, so you get four versions at staggered times and at increasing volume. I live in Turkey and are used to it but even for me this was very loud.

It is very clean and the personal are very friendly and helpful in any way as well as competent.

Not quite a 4 star hotel, very poor breakfast, the room was very small and the window was to an interior closed building, so no sun and no fresh air :(

Location - staff were very good. Kind to limited budget.

The fact there was no lift to the 3rd floor - although one to terrace from the restaurant . I unfortunately was suffering from sciatica

The reception staff were multi lingual, very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is convenient (walking) to every place we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet (included) had a variety of foods for all tastes and friendly staff in a comfortable setting. And the most comfortable hotel bed I can remember.

Noisy first floor room

The hotel staff friendly and professional, the helped u well with requests of all kinds (shuttles, giving advice on places to visit etc) The rooms are rather small but have nothing short in general, are cleaned up nice all in all.

There is no elevator so watch out for elderly couples. The isolation between other rooms was fairly poor The advantage of view on aya sofia can be also a disadvantage if u do not like the wake up call of the mosque's at roughly 6am in the morning.. The food was rather moderate
