Only half a mile from the Blue Mosque, these apartments are a 14 minute walk from Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern. The seafront, with seafood restaurants and a public park, is only 170 yards away.

Dedem Hotel features air-conditioned rooms and a rooftop restaurant with Marmara views. In Sultanahmet district, it is less than a quarter mile from Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome.

Relatively big apartment, good decoration, comfortable bed, good location.
They charge 20 euros for a transfer to the airport while all other hotels close charge only 5... The breakfast although included is very limited.
The location is great, very near the blue mosque in the old quarters,in a quiet street. No pretensions, just very helpful, gentle staff. Simple but very clean room. Lovely breakfast with home made food and fresh fruit juice and beautiful view from the terrace.
We liked the hotel very much, everything was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly. Special thanks to Harun Turk, he was very helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Istanbul.
Very helpful staff, easy and fast walk to the blue mosque and hagia sophia
I really like the services in this hotel Reception indication maps all all Me and my mother we are so happy.
Cozy, small, super clean, great location....
For a time being Sea view side suffers a lot due to a major construction site at the shore line....
outdoor dinner room can see the sea ,blue mosque and feel sunshine ,breakfest is rich .in the room ,oper the door .the sea wind is blowing against me
Location, very very friendly and helpful staff, wide selection of breakfast, everything!
Staffs are friendly, helpful and give good information. There is free coffee and hot chocolate machine at the lobby. Facility design for comfort to stay.
Location close to blue mosque but down to the hill and quite small street.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free coffee was nice. The staff let me have a kettle in my room so that i could make lots of Yorkshire tea, thank you. Room lovely and clean. Clear instructions given about how to get about thank you all.
Have been to Turkey many times and this hotel provided the poorest breakfast ever, sorry. Not the hotels fault but upgrading is going on on the sea front so view is obscured from room. Foootball played in stadium opposite until midnight so very noisy.Quite difficult to negotiate local area at night due to poor state of pavements in vicinity.
Gentle and very hospitable staff..
found it a bit difficult to find in the labyrinth of Istanbul back street.
I loved staying here! They picked my party up from the airport with no problems. Very safe place! Great location as everything it's in walking distance. Great staff, perfect English, very clean! No problems!
Everything was great!
The warmness of the welcome, the quality of the hosting, the comfort of the room bed included, the proximity by walk to almost everything... and of course the breakfast with it's view.
Nice Breakfast with view Outstanding personnel Nice beds Very good value for money.
Nothing at all!!
Good hotel with nice, helpfully staff. The rooms are stylish furnished, reflect the country traditions. The view is very nice.
Area not the best, but near to everything.
Location - able to walk to the key sites and the tram line Appreciated the use of an Istanbulcard Cleanliness of room We don't eat breakfast so can't comment on that Good value for Istanbul
We upgraded to a sea view room but the noise from major infrastructure work opposite which continued throughout the night meant the door to the balcony had to be shut.
The hotel is very nice, helpful staff. We read the reviews on this site, it is difficult to find the hotel, we believe the reviews ... and use the offer of transfer.Big plus is the presence of coffee in the lobby. Free coffee all day.
At 5:30 AM heard the cries of the Muslim clergy. But this problem is not the hotel, and all of the city where many mosques. There is a plus to the nearest mosque mullah loves to sleep, since that morning cries after all otsalnyh, sluggish, short and falls asleep in prayer. It's funny.
Great five star Hilton with excellent service, amazing views, and over the top breakfast buffet.
Transport for anywhere close to Istanbul hotspots will take you ages. Nothing to be found in the neighbourhood.
Hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to all main sights in Istanbul. Staff very friendly and helpful. Able to recommend great local restaurants. Also provided free coffee in reception which was a nice way to welcome guests.
Whilst the room had ocean views, it was not overly scenic as it over looked a construction sight which was a bit noises if the door was open. This really was only a minor issue.
Very convenient location Simple hotel, but clean & well run. Good, friendly staff.
During our visit, unfortunately major work was being carried out on the main road running nearby. This was also happening during the night, so we had to keep the windows closed to overcome the noise. The air conditioning worked well, so problem resolved. Hopefully this is only a temporary issue.
Staff were very friendly. The room had a nice view and was spotless
The roof top terrace had a nice view but could have been updated eg plastic flowered replaced with some real plants in pots. Electricity went off for a whole day so staff need to be more prepared eg with candles, lanterns etc.
Nice breakfast spread on the balcony overlooking the Marmara and Bosphorus. Good to explore less travelled areas near the little Hagia Sophia. Cheaper shops and restaurants away from main attractions. Friendly staff with good English.
Rooms with a water view cost a little extra.
First impression really good, friendly and helpful staff, position perfect to visit Sultanahmet, nice breakfast
we enjoyed the breakfasts of the roof terrace overlooking the Marmara sea. Our room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist and provide information when asked. We found the location to be very convenient and it was no problem getting to the main tourist attractions. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was slightly away from the centre of Saltanahmet as it meant that it was a little more peaceful and imparted a more authentic feel to our experience of Istanbul.
We experienced no problem areas!
with the railway closed it seemed to be a bit inaccessible by public transport; we were a bit surprised by the toilet paper thing - surely that is Greece! OK, it is in an old part of Istanbul.....
