We had comfortable stay here. Location was excellent. Breakfast on roof terrace was very pleasant. The hotel's connection with the nearby travel agents was extremely useful for organising our day trip to Pamukkale.
We were in a rather cramped room on the lower floor for the first night of our stay. The move to a more spacious room on an upper floor was appreciated.
location, staff was kind
The staff shows great hospitality and is helpful enough to share travel tips in Selcuk. Quite close to St. John's and have parking space, breakfast is nice with varieties.
A bit low on the bed linen, it's too rough and i really don't like it, and the color as well.
the boss upgraded our room since there was a vacant one, all the staff are kind and helpful. room and facilities are clean and new.
Location really close to St. John’s Basilica
- shower almost cold - smelly mothballs in the sink gave the room a terrible odour - our room was very noisy in the morning from 7am (school playground) - No invoice or receipt given because “needed to be done in the office”
Brand new, very clean and tidy, helpful staff, fresh and homemade breakfast (with a nice view too). Last but not least, quite cheap.
Everything was excellent. The room was very big and comfortable. The staff very sweet. The breakfast is very good and tasteful on the roof terrace.
Location was very good, breakfast was excellent, very clean and spacious rooms.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and hotel was uniquely situated right across the street from the Basilica of Saint John. We were even happy with the tour, which helped us to take in Selcuk's major sights more efficiently than we could have on our own.
On the last day it seems the power in the whole city went out, and so when we tried to get through the hotel's locked front door, none of the staff could hear us ringing the electronic bell, knocking, or calling from outside. Fortunately, they run the tourism office down the street as well, so we were eventually able to notify someone who could let us in.
Very clean and comfortable, helpful staff. Good value for money.
We liked everything.
close to St. John Church and bus station nice terrace clean room with modern facilities
Staf was very helpful , especialy lady who preperad breakfast and cleaned rooms ..
Room size was a bit small
Big room, roomy washroom and shower, new facilities
I will love to recomment you thıs hotel because thıs ıs new hotel and stuff is very helpfull and just next to the st john basilicca and in down town of selçuk the room is amazing new and very comfartable and bathroom is huge. this is the best place I ever stay so far ın turkey
Convenient location, clean and comfortable room
The room itself was clean and new. The airconditioning is cool and bathroom great. The location was great as it was close to everything, especially to St. John church. The owner of the hotel is nice. Staff was nice, especially the lady who cleans and prepares breakfast.
Ok, it's not about the hotel but the travel agency the hotel is associated with. Soon as I get there, I am shown to the rooftop to discuss my travel plans and was being sold the tour packages. I ended up buying the Ephesus, Pamukkale, the Green tour of Cappdocia and the balloon tour. But the whole process felt rushed and pushed and didn't feel right. I expressed this to the owner of the hotel and he understood. I ended up taking the tours and actually enjoyed the ephesus tour (great tour guide) and the green tour (the best tour guide ever) at the cappdocia. However, the balloon tour was a nightmare. The balloon company "Skyway" I found out was one of the worst balloon company in Cappadocia and when I arrived at Cappadocia hotel, they told me it was a cheap company. I had no choice as I already paid for the package at Selena hotel so I went on the balloon tour. I was there at 5:00 am on the site then couldn't get on the balloon as the balloon did not inflate. Not only that, without explanation, they inflated another balloon and gave that balloon to some other bus that just showed up. I was there till 7 am still waiting to be on the balloon. By then no balloons were on the air and half of my group decided to quit and left. I had a tour next day so I had to get on a balloon that day. Everytime I tried to talk to someone, they said "don't speak English." I then realized what a mistake I made. My recommendation, get the ephesus, pamukkale tour but if going to other places, don't book it till you go to your next destination. The hotels there know better and will help you. Don't worry about anything too much. Yes, my balloon was cheap price but at what price I paid. Not worth it. By the way, the all balloon companies are not the same. There's a reason why some companies cost more! And it's worth it.
The roof top had a beautiful view and the rooms had a nice feel to body and eye. The location was great and the staff was friendly.
I think the price is a bit too high. I think the location and quality good, but...
Very good location close to Ephesus and associated sites.
Carpet vendors outside are annoyingly aggressive. Very basic breakfast with no real provision for western tastes.

酒店位置好，离Otogar十分钟路程，与Castle and Memonument of St. John和当地清真寺只有几步之遥。周边有便利店，店主热情。房间干净，洗手间很大，硬件新，早餐好，吃早餐的地方能看到城堡。值得推荐！
Clearness,comfortable,wifi has good connection
No hair dryer in room, hard to parking
nice new room
Staff seemed more interested in flogging tours than actually genuinely helping guests
Selena Hotel is well-located off the main street within walking distance to the Selcuk otogar (bus station). Atmosphere is more that of a nice small hotel than tourist class budget accommodations. It is relatively new & still working out a few kinks: needed drinking glasses & a few other minor things. Owner & manager do care that guests are comfortable. They will try to remedy anything missing or help you during your stay. BEST: evening view from roof terrace to the castle is fabulous. Don't miss this! Ok to bring in your dinner & sit at one of the tables there to enjoy the view.
If you book with the in-house travel agency, check first what the relative costs are if you book yourself. They helped us book an amazing trip to Cappadoccia. However, the unexpected "taxes & fees" added a few hundred dollars in cost that we never experienced anywhere else. I don't imply that they are trying to take advantage of you, they just didn't spell out the fees until I asked a few times. Also, be careful if you shop for rugs at any of the rug factories in Turkey. There is one (Zirve Rug) close to town. Before purchasing, negotiate hard & don't be afraid to walk away. Ask them to confirm in writing that the rug you wish to purchase is actually created by the young women the factory purports to help support. Get this info written down: # threads/inch, type of fibers woven (i.e. "wool on cotton"), new?, name of weaver (since $ goes to girl, ask her name). Take a photo of your rug so you can confirm rug value upon your return to your home country.
Breakfast on the roof.
Great location close to town. 2 minutes and your in the centre .Lovely breakfast looking over to the castle.
