Best Western Senator Hotel  

upon arrival the hotel was under construction however, the staff bent over backwards to look after us, every night they would advise us where to go. They was always there when we needed them

The property has been completely renovated since my previous stay quite a few years ago and the rooms are clean and modern. The included breakfast was excellent -- a large variety including hot foods -- far above the Continental breakfast that one might expect. The dining room had a great a la carte dinner menu with reasonable prices and outstanding waiter service.

Alas, every establishment serving alcohol has outrageous prices, including the Best Western Senator. During my previous stay when us$1 equalled 1.2-million Turkish Lira, a glass of wine at the hotel bar was approximately us$2 to us$3. It is now approximately us$18.

The room that we stayed at was spacious given the standard size of hotel rooms in Istanbul,staff were friendly and helpful ,the view from the room was remarkable.If you like shopping ,then this is the place for you besides all transportaions including tram are very close to you .No ironing facilitie in room but could provided on request

Toilet seat was inconvinient for people who uses water for washing,TV channels could be improved .

Très mauvais rapport qualité-prix : on a payé 170 € par nuit pour un hôtel qui vaut à peine 3 étoiles, c'est beaucoup trop pour un hôtel viellot et pas très bien situé. Petit-déjeuner indigne pour cette catégorie de prix. Contrairement à ce qui est dit sur la fiche de l'hôtel, il n'est pas situé à Sultanhamet mais à Aksaray, c'est à dire à 45 minutes à pied.

Pobyt jsme koupili, protože hotel měl výraznou slevu. Za plnou cenu je tento hotel absolutně předražený.

Hotel byl v rekonstrukci, což bylo znát po celou dobu pobytu. Rámus a hluk byl ve všech pokojích, výměna pokoje nepomohla. Pokoje jsou velmi malé, ale dobře zařízené.

Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen nett und auf guten Service bedacht.

отелль очень хорошего уровня. прекрасное обслуживание, отзывчивый, внимательный персонал, на ресепшин хорошо говорят на английском, смогли быстро организовать трансфер. завтрак хорошего качества, свежие продукты, достаточно разнообразный и обильный (с горячими блюдами). уютный ресторан. в номере тихо, тепло и уютно (проживали в сьюте). в отеле тихая, уютная атмосфера, ничего не раздражало. рядом с отелем трамвайная линия, которая ведет к главным историческим достопримечательностям - это удобно. кто любит ходить пешком, можно дойти за 20 минут. можем смело рекомендовать отель.

в ванной сам душ был стационарный, не сьемный - это было не совсем удобно. не хватало чайника и принадлежностей для чая/кофе, но без этого можно и обойтись. не было халатов. район с оптовыми магазинами, бурная торговля, но не шумно.

Sehr gute, saubere Lage, relativ ruhig. Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt fußläufig gut erreichbar, auch Straßenbahn in der Nähe. Großes Zimmer für drei Personen im DG mit Blick aufs Marmara-Meer. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Hotelmitarbeiter. Gutes Frühstück, schönes Restaurant.

Zimmer etwas hellhörig (falls laute Zimmernachbarn). Zimmermädchen etwas schlampig: 3 Personen im Zimmer und meistens nur 2 Handtuchsets, zuwenig Toilettenpapier, keine Toilettenbürste, Schlafanzüge alle auf ein Bett geschmissen (die ersten 5 von 6 Nächten)...schade.
