The place advertises as having a kitchenette. In the quad room we had it did not have a kitchenette, even though we booked one. It had a fridge and a kettle. That was it. No cups, no tea bags or coffee, no cooking facilities or even a sink. I tried to complain, but was tols bynthe staff member that he was just minding the place and to speak to the owner. i did not actually know which person he was and by the next morning that was a bit late!
The bathroom was very small, the shower would be too small for a larger person. We had one towel each, nomhand towels and no floor mat. i was given a floor mat when i asked, but with 4 people using a small bathroom, that should have been provided without asking.
The balcony was so tiny only one person could fit on it, only if you climbed over the bed that blocks the door to get to it. The view was of a very ordinary pool. No sea view. This is not near the beach at all it is close tomthe port. We walked down the hill and caught the bus to Ladies Beach, which is lovely. Breakfast was included and was at 8.30. We had to leave to get to our next stop so we were down there at 8.25. Nothing was ready and no one was around to ask. We decided to leave and just leave the key at the desk. Then the staff member came in with bread he had just bought and was obviously about to start preparing breakfast. We left and had it at ladies beach and got a fantastic English Breakfast for 11 euros. The quilt and blanket, no top sheet, were not for a double bed, so did not cover two people unless we stayed very close and did not move all night. The floor was dirty and sticky.....this was not a pleasant experience. I believed all the other reviews that raved about how nice this place was. I did not expect a palace, but I did expect to have what was advertised.
The place was newly renovated, but still small. There is air con, but we did not use it. Lots of shops and restaurants at the bottom of the street, but it is a long big hill coming home. It was quiet while we there and we slept well. We were able to,park in a little spot off the street which was really good as it is a narrow street and we were worried about leaving the hire car there.
