The cleanest hotel I have ever seen. Rooms arranged with taste, extraordinarily welcoming and nice owner. Turkish hospitality is famous but this hotel and the owner goes beyond that. Extremely nice people. We spent only one night there but are seriously considering returning for a longer period. Breakfast is Turkish: eggs, cucumber, cheese, butter and bread with tea. The whole hotel looks brand new, furniture chosen with taste, flowers around it... like a little piece of paradise. Sea 2 minutes by car or 15 minutes walking.
The owner who speaks very good English, couldn't have been nicer, helped with our bags on arrival and throughout our stay called us Taxi's and gave us info on where to visit. Helped with a wake up call as well as calling a taxi, on the last night as we travelled home early hours of the morning. He even bought cereal for the children as they wasn't keen on the traditional Turkish breakfast. Offer of dinner is available with a days notice. Fresh towels and linen daily and mosqueto panels on the windows and doors so you can leave them open at night without the worry of being eaten alive. There is no swimming pool and to use the pool next door cost 120 euros for a family of 5. We did however find that the 'street bar' in town allowed free use of its pool as long as you bought a drink. Beautiful surroundings, they really look after it, they have lemon, orange, grapefruit and lime trees. Thanks for a lovely stay! The James-Palmer Family
A long 15 min walk into town and there were very limited pavements so it became very dangerous at night. We opted for Taxi's throughout our stay which cost 15 Turkish lira. The wifi isn't accessible from the room we was staying in and was the only real downside as the kids couldn't use their iPads and when I wanted to check my bank or search for places to visit I had to go to the eating area. Could do with tea and coffee facilities in the rooms or even just a kettle and possibly an iron.
The owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The hotel is a great first night after arriving in Turkey and allowed for a lovely drive over to Kalkan the next morning. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in and the traditional breakfast was fantastic.
- Exactly what we needed - a comfortable stop after late night arrival to Dalaman - Good Value, clean and comfy rooms - Wonderful service from the owners - especially as we arrived around 3am! - Fresh, individually prepared breakfast for us all, including some lovely anecdotes from the owner telling us about his life and times and ending up in Sarigerme.
