Friendly and helpful staff; good hotel location in the city - in a calm place in enough distance from the main noisy streets, but at the same time with good transportation to important places in Istanbul.
lack of city maps with latin letters descriptions in world popular languages (English or French or Spainish etc.) - only those with Arabic were available in the hotel reception.
So nice staff..Metro stations and buses so close..Good price
It was awful. Bathroom was dirty with mildew. Lights didn't work. Furniture was broken. Fridge didn't work. Bed uncomfortable. Cigarette smoke wafted into the room throughout day and night. Hairtransplant outpatients from the hospital next door stayed at hotel, so you were eating breakfast with people wearing pusy bandages. Looking out of the breakfast windows were rooftops of cats waiting for food in a pile of their faeces. We counted 13 cats.
I am going stay in the Hotel Sisli next tame
