The location of this hotel was fabulous, within easy walking distance of Sultan Ahmed. Staff were particularly helpful and arranged tours and guides for us. Breakfast was good.
Some redecoration possibly needed but this did not detract from the overall experience.
We stayed here twice. Room on first visit was fine. On 4th floor and reasonably quiet. On the night before we flew out of Istanbul we returned and were given an awful room on the first floor. It was small, stuffy and noisy. Practically no sleep on night before very long flights home. People talking loudly most of the night and then again at around 4:30 in the morning. Couldn't open windows as traffic noise outside was terrible. A horrible experience.
a cover as well as a doona. a HUGE plus
This hotel is all about location, it does not get much better than this.
Our room was a little noisy from nearby road traffic, Hotel does not offer gluten free bread at the breakfast buffet. (yes we did ask them).
Everything I did not like was great. Location, the atmosphere, fair breakfast, eonderful entrance hall and outside area.
We had room bdlow recdption and just beside stairs to the kitchen. So you could hear the staff from 6 AM. Choose room carefully on higher floors. Internet is poor, very poor. From time to time so poor you can not update FB status.
Everything starting from their warm welcome, friendly staffs, the beautiful room with balcony overlooking the sea (we stayed in a Junior Suite room) and of course their great location! We really had a good time staying at Sokullu Pasa and definitely will recommend it to our friends and colleagues. Special thanks for Fettah for being so humble and helpful during our stay.
The breakfast, hope they can improve their quality and variety of food.
It is close to city centre.
No ventilation. Not very clean. Staff not friendly except receptionist. Expensive. Facilities not very great. Breakfast not at all good
Amazing location,perfect breakfast,helpful staff
you can not control the aircondition they set it for the hole hotel
Location, comfort, cleanliness.
Initially we were placed in a room that is simply not fit for usage: apart from it being in complete disrepair, it was incredibly noisy; our being told the day before how nice a room it was, only made the reality of it worse. And although there are staff members present that are exemplary, there are other that would never (!) smile, and not even offer any acknowledgment once in their civil wear! Finally, when my friend felt unwell, there was not even an aspirine to offer in the entire hotel...
Suite room is small and located in the reception !! No window !! Electricity light is poor... Simply disaster suite The bathroom is bad and the water was leaking The wooden floor is broken and noisy TV is small, it reminds me of my laptop The windows is not sound proof, you have problem falling asleep
Location - close to major sites of interest. Exceptionally helpful staff. Room comfortable and spacious Breakfast - excellent choice and helpful staff.
Wi fi good in lobby but poor in other areas of the hotel.
Free WiFi is plus point Staff are nice and friendly Hotel is in a good location if you like walking. It is quite a long walk to tram station.
The smell from drainage especially when people above us using the toilette in the morning. When we open the door the smell is so strong that we have to use towel to cover our nose so that we can use toilette
Spacious room and bathroom. Alright bed and plenty of hot water. Within walking distance to main sites in Istanbul.
Location was great, lovely breakfast, easy going and helpful staff. Good happy hour deal
Not much, it was very well organised
The staff was amazing, they set up tours for us, we participated in the 1/2 day bus tour and the night boat cruise and it was worth the money. The hotel location is amazing not a far walk from attractions like the Blue Mosque, St. Sofia, and the grand bazaar.
The only down fall but wasn't a problem for us the room was on the small side. We were comfortable but didn't spend much time in the room. Again not a factor to us and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Very helpful and smart staff Delicious breakfast buffet
Deluxe room with great view of the Bosphorus. fabulous breakfast. very friendly staff. superb location. Efficient hotel transfers to airport. Would highly recommend

The Staff were very helpful and addressed all our queries.
View from a side room is not good.
Small cozy hotel in a very convenient location, nice and attentive staff, excellent breakfast. It's the second time we stay there, definitely recommend it.
Everything, very charming hotel
Not friendly reception. Ordinary breakfast. Noisy early time.
