The noise from the roads. Rooms should be insulated and sound proof.

Excellent location for those who want to stay in Aksaray Good price Very good Breakfast Nice, welcoming and helpful staff

Rooms are very small which is common in Istanbul Hotel is a little bit old and should be renovated especially bathrooms, but is still acceptable.

The location was perfect within walking distance to the main attractions. The breakfast was good and place was well cleaned. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We loved our stay.

    It was a bit small

Everything was good. I would book the same hotel if I go back to Istanbul.

size of the room. I expected it to be a little bit wider.

It is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and clean baths. The location is good, near Grand Bazar, 15 min distance to Sultanahmet area, 7km distance to Galata Tower area. The breakfast is ok, with a lot of choices and veggie friendly. We also eat dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was also good food and good value of money. I recommend the Sorriso restaurant.

It is an almost 4 star hotel. We had an unpleased experience at our arrival, even with our 2 double rooms reservation they gave us a twin room and a 3 person room saying that they might move us from the 3 person room if needed. They didn’t move us after all, but idea of making a reservation on a 4 start hotel is to reserve those 2 rooms with a double bed. And the price was very high in June. The window is not isolated and it is very noise all night long. The SPA area is not included in the room price, this is not specified clearly in the hotel description. A sauna cost 10$. The outdoor pool is very small, dirty and without view, what you see in the picture is a picture. The indoor pool is a jacuzzi actually. The SPA area exist, but it is not a 4 start hotel SPA area. Also during our stay the elevator was broken for about 2 hours in the morning/breakfast time, our room was at the second floor so it was ok, but for those at six floor not. They had a very good photographer.

The food was oke. Lift was working. Finally heading back home was good.

The walls are paper thin you hear your neighbours talking in the night. The shower has a piece of glass but water leaks through the bottom not sealed the whole bathroom under water. Fridge is not working properly. Swimming pool is not clean. Reception does not understand English. No customer service it was really bad, they could not communicate with us or help with questions. This was a real disapointment.

The location was good, 5 min walking from AKSARAY metro station.

It is not a 4* hotel, as per facilities it's a 3* hotel. The room in which I was staying was a double beded room, was quiet small & there was no space to put even my single suitcase, so if 2 peopel will come, where 2 suitcase can be put I dont know. During 4 days of stay not a single day tolilteries were added in bathroom, though somethings were finished. The bathroom was small & there was no glass/curtain/partition between shower area & toilet, hence when ever I took bath the toilet region was full of water. The breakfast was not very good & practically same boring menu for all 4 days of my stay.

The breakfast buffet is so worth it and the tram stop is just a few meters away so that makes for a very convenient location. Also it's basically a 5 to 10 min walk to the grand bazar and 20 mins I'd say to sultanahmet

It's in a busy part of istanbul with lots of hawkers on the streets can't really blame the hotel but for the price I was paying I'd expect cleaner surroundings.

There was nothing we liked about this hotel.

The hotel is very poor in service, location and there is a lot of drilling and building work going on in the vicinity of the hotel which made it unpleasant and dusty. it was a basic room and definitely a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was appalling for supposedly a 4 star, we had the same breakfast for a week, not much choice and mainly Turkish food. I had bread and jam everyday of my stay. One day I asked for an omelette which they asked 10 Turkush Lira for. I am disappointed with to rate this hotel 4 star. The staff does not speak English at all except for one lady on reception.

Close to Grand Bazar, shopping, good connection with the tram.

It was rainy, and the hotel did not have umbrellas.

Good location, spacious and nicely decorated room and bathroom, clean, delicious food, friendly staff, lovely little terrace by the pool - no view but quiet, nice to relax after a busy day.

Younger members of the staff could improve their English, just a bit. It is not a critic but an advice...

Staff very friendly. Tram station only a minute away. Breakfast had a good variety of food. Rooms are fine and clean but as often in big cities are a bit smaller. I would stay in this hotel again and can recommend it. If you want it quiet, get a room facing the rear and not towards the street. Free wifi and connection was good.

Shower had no curtain or glass to prevent water splashing around and it was really very small. The pool has the size of a jacuzzi so don't imagine something big or where you can swim.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is ideally situated to walk to the Grand Bazaar, Blue mosque and Aghia Sophia. We also walked to the Topkapi palace. The food is turkish, but you are in Turkey! Wide variety of cheeses, meat bread, fruit, yogurt for breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

    Having to come home!

    Receptionist very nice and helpful.

Room too small. Bathroom very poorly designed. When showering, all water spills in the whole bathroom. Through the vent in the wall we could see another shower to the next room, so they could see us as well. I have staid in another 4 star hotel in Istanbul - Kalyon, and I do not know how both that and Sorriso Hotel have 4 stars. Difficult even to compare.
