The room decor was rustic but clean & comfortable - just the right atmosphere for a stay in Goreme. The complimentary continental breakfast was wonderful and very impressive - traditional, delicious, satisfying and varied.

The staff is amazing! They helped us to take care of our baby while we traveled by balloon! It's a good cave hotel. The breakfast could be a little better. The furniture is a little old.

Helpful, smiling, impeccable staff, congratulations to Mr Ramadan , manager, for achieving this kind of team work. Reserved restaurants for us, provided tickets for the dervishes, gave good touristic indications. Location is beautiful, close to every place in Kapadokya ., good restaurant with elegant, yet simple tasty food. Try the terrace, or the cosy dining room. wi-fi (that works!) everywhere, that's important. The rooms are interesting, spatious, some luxurious, in the cave. Bathrooms are gorgeous. Breakfast is varied and typical, with local products and fruit. The hotel itself is an attraction, with its maze of rooms climbing the rock and cut into it.

It is a well kept hotel with beautiful spacious rooms and it is perfectly located. The staff were tremendous and went beyond the call of duty whenever we needed assistance. I for instance struggled with my laptop charger and they actually drove to town to buy a new cable to help me at no cost! Ramazan (the owner) went out of his way to make our trip unforgettable and we will always look back at our stay at Spelunca with fond memories. We are already planning our next trip to Turkey and we will not even consider staying anywhere else.

This hotel was everything I had imagined when I planned to visit Cappadocia - great views, good location for the town, the layout and architecture in keeping with the area. A real treat. Helpful friendly staff. They need to get bedside lights. Always a bore to get up to turn off the light.

Special experience staying in a modernized cave room. The short uphill walk and two flights of stairs is well rewarded by a spacious balcony with views through the fairy chimneys and over the town especially as the balloons float by at sunrise. Magical! Perfect balloon trip with Royal balloons. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

A fantastic place for vacation! We had a spacious, nice room with 2 baths, fridge and sitting group with tv. It was very clean and the breakfast had quite a good range of food. Very friendly staff with an excellent sense of service and humor. Great location and a very reasonable price. No doubt we will come back!

Very clean They messed up my check out. It took ages. Also lots of noise from people ballooning at 4.30am and the hotel does not care. Also the minı bar is a total rip off. A vodka costs 25 lira! The hotel ıs also situated on a very steep hill.

Spelunca Cave hotel was no more than a 5 minute walk from the Goreme bus station - just what we needed when we were dropped off at 4:30am on the overnight bus from Fethiye. Everyone was asleep when we selfishly arrived nearly 7 hours too early, but Ismail got up, greeted us warmly and made us a lovely cup of tea. Our room was obviously still being used but Ismail got my son a blanket and invited him to catch a few hours extra sleep on the lounge sofa before the other guests arrived for their breakfast at 8:00am. The staff organised our must-do balloon trip with URGUP balloons saving us the worry about picking a safe and reliable operator. They were impressively organised and the trip was memorable beyond words for all the right reasons. Ismail also recommended local valley walks as we were keen to explore by foot after such a long coach journey. The walks start literally at the top of the small hill into which the hotel is built, and at only a few minutes from the hotel, the top of the hill is a must for anyone caring to star gaze into the galaxies! Look out for andromeda, the little bear and shooting stars. A short distance from the hotel, you can venture into Love Valley, wander round the fairy chimneys, and if you are lucky, taste the most amazing tomatoes as offered to us by one of the valley farmers. Accept the tasting, if you are offered, they were delicious! Delighted to report absolutely nothing. A towel hook in the bathroom needed a better fixing into the soft cave rock so it just spun round. More funny than annoying as the cave experience was what we had travelled for, and the bathroom was really lovely.
