Our stay was just amazing! The owner and his brothers are great! They know how to take care of you. They are true professionals. At the time of my stay there my girlfriend had a birthday and they even arranged a cake for her - also everyone were singing "happy birthday". I really recommend to stay there and we will definitely come back :) p.s ask Orkan for a walking tour around the valleys - it was great time.
The people there were nice to us very helpful and wanted to show us around and take us from the bus station to the room and back. Nice cave rooms, nice view.
The room wasn't cleaned at all.No internet access in the room but we knew about it before we went. The bathroom had some plumbing problems-The seat was leaking.
The room is large and comfortable with nice decoration. Boss Ramazan helped us book ballon trip and drove us to the museum for free. Staff Murat drove me to buy post stamps and took me to the top of the hill to see the night view of the town, also treat me beer and took pictures for me. Very nice experience! Moreover, Ramazan and manger Ogan guided us to underground city and red tour. They are really nice guiders and we really enjoyed our time!! Thank you so much!! We will miss Star cave!!
Nice cave hotel near the centre but still in a quiet street (at the end of it). Big room and bathroom. The guy who arranged me a dervish show and dropped me at the bus station when I was leaving was friendly. Göreme is an amazing place and it's worth walking from Göreme to Uchisar and see the great views.
Some ants and bugs in the room. The women of the hotel never really spoke anything to me.
It's a little bit like a youth hotel. Very worm and lively. We only stayed there for one night, and they helped us to book so many things like transfer, tour, bus ticket... We really appreciate everything.
the door of our room can not be closed without key,be it's no problem.
Star cave hotel is budget hotel but full with hospitality of Ramazan, the owner. You cannot find it anywhere. He take care like friends who come to visit him. And try to make us the most comfortable. Breakfast is fresh especially goresme, flat bread stuff with cheese, is yummy. If I go to goreme in the future I will stay at STAR CAVE HOTEL again.
Room is clean and comfortable.
At night that is difficult to find host to deal with problem, for example, at21:00 we want to take shower, but there's no hot water, we called and waited for 1.5hrs.
Staff are helpful and welcoming. Hotel beds are comfortable.Breakfast is excellent. Lots of fresh fruit and self service. The relaxation areas have great views.
Friendly staff, comfortable stay
The owner, Ramazan was very friendly and showed us how to get around cappadocia. He also helped us to book tours and give us discounts. Besides, he arranged transport from airport and bus tickets as we are travelling to pammukkale after cappadocia trip.
No wifi from our bedrooms.
Owner of hotel was really helpfull for all visitors. I've noticed that even the visitors if doesn't have any room (from Cave House) or organization he tried to help them. You don't need to plan anything. Ramazan (owner) sure will help you due to your requests. Baloon, visit routes, special places ect. I advice strongly.
Actually breakfast tastes were really fresh and delicious but starting little bit late.
Friendly and helpful host. 5 stars to him. Ramzan helped us find our lost luggage at Nevsehir by driving us in his car. Secret Garden: Ramzan's secret garden is amazing. Great place for a relaxing evening. Rooms: The rooms are big and the bathroom is huge. The tables outside the rooms on the balcony are well decorated with flowers and adds a charm to the cave. The warmth showed by the host family made the stay even more pleasant.
The rooms of ground floor can be noisy since its near the reception. Wifi doesn't work inside rooms since the rooms are inside the cave.
Awesome place! We liked it so much, we came back to visit two years in a row, and may go back next year. The owner, Ramazan, and his family, will do everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They're able to book tours, buses, and anything else you're interested in doing in Cappadocia. The wifi is good, the rooms are clean (and how cool is it to stay in a freakin' cave?!?), and the grounds are lovely and filled with flowers and interesting decorations, all overlooking the charming village of Goreme. We loved hanging out on the patio with the owners and other guests at different times during the day, and met some great people. Be sure to ask about a BBQ out at the Secret Garden (guaranteed you'll love it). In short, best place to stay in Goreme, especially considering the price. We WILL be back!
Owner Mr. Ramazan is a very nice man, he provided us with a free pick up service when we lost our way while going towards Hotel. Overall staying in the Hotel was a wonderful experience staff is very cooperative.
Out of two openings in the bathroom one didn't have a door and other was very difficult to close.
We had a excelent time at the Star Cave Hotel! We felt very comfortable. The personal was very friendly. Always happy and in good mood and committed with the guests. We totally enjoyed our stay
EVERYTHING Best hotel staff I have ever seen Hotel was unique and a great experience Food for the "Secrete Garden" was really good
Hotel was in a good location and was clean and modern. Staff were excellent.
Star Cave Hotel is an amazing place. It's stuffs are so friendly, they treated us as if we are a part them. You can have a perfect breakfast against Chemney rocks. Out of box, owner of place took us to his personal hobby garden for a tasty barbecue the last night. This is not only for us but also it for every customer...free of charge:)
Nothing bad for here
Staff are very friendly and nice. We stayed 3 nights and did enjoy it very much. It's a perfect place to stay.
Really good hotel in Goreme: great value for money, real huge cave room, very friendly and kind staff, Ramazan in particular has become a friend, quiet location but very near the village centre.
Staff was amazing, took care of us like we were their family. They arranged everything for us at great prices, made sure we never needed anything and even cooked us a private BBQ in their family garden!!
Great location! Very helpful owner! Room was good big and clean. The important thing is that the room was very warm and dry (it is important in Cappadocia). The hot water was all the time, no problem.
During our 6 nights stay the room was never cleaned. Neither bad no towels were changed (on demand only). The breakfast starts late (8-30 - 9-00) when owner not present. The stuff (except owner himself) was rather indifferent so if you need help or some service you have to wait owner. For example if you ask tea the owner always prepare Turkish tea but the stuff gives you just a hot water and tea bag.
The breakfast was good and good close proximity to town.
Firstly we had arranged our own balloon trip the for the morning after we arrived. When we arrived at the accommodation the manager tried to tell us that our booking for the balloon was overbooked so he had booked us with another 'better' company, even though we had confirmation of our booking that afternoon. The next morning at 4am both companies turned up to pick us up and made it awkward for us. If nearly lost our booking with the company we wanted to go with by being dishonest in the name of earning a commission for himself. Secondly, although the cave room could have been really nice, mould growing allover the bathroom and the room smelling awful, made for an unpleasant stay.
All the staff are very kind. We received detailed information, advice and a map what to visit ans what is the best plan. The Room is very comfortable and interesting, there is Internet in the room. There is a terrace with a view.
I like the appearance of this hotel and the room. Beautiful caves!!! And the room was clean and very comfortable. It was 300 metres away from the center of Goreme, so not far. We didn't walk there though. The owner of this hotel organized a balloon tour (130 euro) and a private taxi for us. They were worth paying. And additionally, the night we arrived (after 10 pm), he invited us to his private cave camping for a couple of hours. That was an amazing experience.
