stone courtyard closed
friendly, helpful, simple and welcoming
The old town was nice. Staff get to know clients personaly Breakfast very good Very good service
Location, friendly stuff
More outlets should be available to plug devices, the toilet paper should be relocated for more easy access. Hangers should be install inside the bathroom
Staff service, location, breakfast
The only problem was that sometimes the wireless was not working, but the staff fixed it immediately upon request.
The location is perfect, the staff was really kind and responsive. Breakfast was diverse, on a nice terrace.
Breakfast selection could have a bit more variety
The staff was friendlier . Our suite was quaint which fitted the four of us family well . It was stated to be over 400 years old building but well lighted and sufficient heating . It is walking distance to convenient store, restaurants and tourist attraction - Hippodrome , Blue Mosque , Haga Sofia , Topkapi palace and Grand Bazaar
Poor breakfast Difficult to find hotel No proper services
Location and staff... Terrace is great with sea view
The water got cut off during one night but the staff offered to send complimentary bottles of water.
The location was good very close the the blue mosque and sultan ahmet square. موقع الفندق ممتاز و قريب من المسجد الازرق و منطقة المطاعم.. مناسب جدا للعوايل بالنسبة للسعر
cleanliness, lame daily clean up
The front desk staff was friendly, spoke good English and was great at providing info on the main attractions in the area.
1) We reserved a triple bed room but they tried to give us a smaller and cheaper double bed room with an extra small bed, just to see if we didn´t complain. Finally, we complained but this situation left us very dissapointed. 2) The stone garden is not that nice, as described in other guest´s comments. 3) The reception of the hotel, not nice. 4) Breakfast is of regular quality. I really expected more for what I paid.
1) Friendly staff 2) Good location. 3) View from the rooftop cafe.
Breakfast is a little bit poor and the position of the table where breakfast stuff are is totally unconfortable for your head if you are too tall because near the roof
Very close to many attractions, great position, you can walk to reach Blue Mosque and the ancient turkish bath.
Our room was right next to a mosque which some may find annoying if light sleepers and/or wanting to sleep in because of morning prayer call.
Freindly and helpful nature of staff was a nice introduction to istanbul. Room was nice without being amazing but location was excellent for anyone wanting to stay near the blue mosque without being right on top of it. Our room had a great view of the sea which was nice as well. Has a great rooftop terrace. Staff helped us with directions and gave us good advice on tours.
Mini bar not replenished, had to ask for water. My wake up call was one hour late
Good location and polite staff
Not a great area for restaurants.
Location, close to many main sights. Sea view. Comfortable room. We'd thoroughly recommend Stone Hotel.
Our room was somewhat small for the three of us, but we booked last minute; therefore there weren't many options. They did the best they could to accommodate us :-)
It was home to me and my family.. the staff we connected with felt like family - so friendly, welcoming, helpful and hospitaful, yet prfessional. Excellent restaurant on the top floor with the best food, and a breathtaking view. The location is perfect too! Our experience at The Stone Hotel left us wanting to come back to Isranbul! ❤️
Very close to the blue mosque and the old city Very helpful staff Good breakfast included
the locations was great, the staff was very friendly & helpful
Entrance on the downhill
It's near the historical area. Clean had a nice garden and rooftop to enjoy your meal.
Small room. Hard to get to it
employees are so kind and helpful
Only the price.
Good location and it's about 8 mins walking to Sulta Ahmed mosque and 12 mins to tram station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. A good variety of breakfast.
It just did not live up to its star rating, and not the least to the high price. The bed was small, the air condition noisy and the breakfast buffet minimal and boring. The doorknob to the toilet came of on the second day, the toilet roll was placed on the floor and there were none of the small extras or feeling of luxury that one should have expected from the price. We had in part chosen it due to the garden, but it was never in use during our stay, all the chairs placedin top of tables and looking very inhospitable despite this being one of the hotels selling points.
friendly staff. large enough room.
Not too much of a problem for me but beware call to prayer. The hotel is next to a mosque.
Great location near many sites in old part of town. Including grand bazaar.
Excellent location Somewhere to relax other than in the bedroom Friendliness of staff They were so helpful
