Well done rooms everyday. Nice breakfast - but everyday complete same. Location of the hotel is fantastic. The room has air-condition. Many windows (4!) - great. Yes, computer in the lobby is very old and you can't use chat programs. MSN Messenger fails to start. You can install Skype or any other chat program, but at system reboot all installed programs were erased. Computer doesn't has any sound card or microphone for chat use. Refrigerator doesn't work well - you can't make ice cubes, because isn't cold enough. One more thing - on the room key (magnetic card) was the name and address of the hotel and room number! If somebody steal (or find lost) the key, to find the room is very easelly... |

Very well positioned, friendly and helpful staff. There are nice views of the old city and Bosphoros from the terrace roof top As far as value for money is concerned, this hotel is fine. Good basic breakfast, elevator that worked and a free internet were bonuses |

This hotel locates the center of old city in Istanbul so that it was easy to access to any historic places. There are a lot of restaurant around this hotel and even this hotel has a nice restaurant with nice view at the top. |

The location is excellent - Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace all within 5 minutes of walking. Our room on the 5th floor was small but comfortable, and it had a balcony with a view of Aya Sofya. The hotel greeted us with a fruit bowl placed in our room - a very nice gesture. Breakfast was nothing special, but it was ok - make sure you try the "semit" bread (the one with sesame seeds). To sum it up: I'd definitely recommend Sude Konak for a weekend break in Istanbul. One word of caution: make sure you contact the hotel in advance and ask for a room on the 5th floor, with a balcony overlooking the street - some of the rooms without a street view are pretty dark, and their windows open to E.G. air condition units in the back yard. |

Good location for tourists, reasonable hotel worth staying at if you get it at a good rate. Breakfast should have been better, needed continental selection! No kettles or irons offered even after asking. |

The hotel staff is very kind and ready to help you. The rooms are small, but enough for a short stay in Istanbul. Comparing to other hotels in Istanbul the hotel is clean and offers few parking places. If you don't ask for a room on the backside of the hotel, you may not be lucky to sleep over the night. The hotel front street, even if it is very small, it is also very noisy. |

The location is amazing, fantastic; few minutes away from Topkapi palace, from Aya Sofya, from Blue Mosque and from city centre and very near to metro station. From my bed (in 5th floor), I could admire Aya Sofya. Everything is clean: room is clean and new, there is fridge inside, air con. and the staff in hotel are very friendly and helpful. |

I liked the location as being very close to almost all historical places as well as convenience to public transport. The hotel management should pay more attention to room cleanliness. |

The first three nights in the Hotel were perfect: they were waiting for us with the baby bed and give us a room on the 5th floor with balcony from wich we can admire Haya Sofia. Everything worked out really good: air conditioner, mini bar, cleanless, reception service for airport shuttle. The breakfast was not that much generous but was enough for this small hotel. The restaurant in the roof is really quiet and you can see Haya Sofia form one side and the Bosphorus on the oder side. The food is good and they serve you well. The second three nights of stay were completly different: thay give us a room in the 3th floor, which had problems with the air conditioner and mini bar (we need it for the food of our baby). The receptionist try to solve them but even if the reparation service were there the air condition and mini bar did not work at all. And the Hotel was full so they could not change us to other room. As a conclution, it is all about luck. So I would recommend it because of the location (100 mts. from tram 1 station) and the view. |

It was close to everything we wanted to see and near fairly good restauraants. The air conditioning did not work. We sweltered in our room. The wait staff was very good but the milk, water, and juice were warm one day. The front desk person was rude and unhelpful, putting us off several times when we asked for assistance. |

This hotel is well located. The wifi went out often. So did the air conditioning. The staff had a 1950s mentality. Instead of helping us, they said, for three days, that they would make a call later. The room was very small for three of us. |

The location is good, on a walking distance to the main tourist attractions of Istanbul. The breakfast was okay. And the price was very accessible. The staff, when was available, was reasonable. But I had to wait for around 15 min to check in, because the receptionist was not there at the moment (I've arrived at 11:30 am, so it must be someone there!). The room as small, noisy and not so clean (some dust over the furniture). WiFi didn't work at all in my room. And when I've asked for a transfer from Ataktür airport to the hotel on my arrival, they've asked for 25 EUR (TLY 50). If you get a taxi in the airport, you'll pay half of this value. |
