Sultan Cave Suites  

The room we stayed in was fabulously spacious and gracefully furnished, so much so that if there wasn't so much to do we could easily have stayed in all day. The balcony offered views of the fabled fairy chimneys. The staff were friendly without being overly familiar. The restaurant served local dishes, well executed and their service was flawless.

Everything about my stay there was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, well-designed, well-located, and had a picturesque view. The restaurant downstairs is exquisite, and has a large selection of local dishes and wine. Anyone traveling there and wishing to stay at this hotel, had better keep the following in mind: - You need more than one day - The hotel can arrange pickup from and to the airport - this is much more worth it than public transport. - The hotel can arrange tours and visits around the area - Most tours start early in the morning.

Everything was perfect for Sultan Cave Hotel. My favorite thing was staff's service. They take care about every guest with best service, and very kind with any request as friend. Breakfast was nice, room condition was great. Plus, wifi is working well and location in Gureme also not bad.

Awesome hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and contrary to my perception that rooms in a 'cave hotel' would be small, they were quite spacious. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfy, has wifi and to add up the romance quotient, there is a working fireplace too.. The hotel offers a great view of Goreme village too and the sight of the balloons rising up in the morning is an absolute delight. The food at the restaurant is top notch and has traditional Anatolian fare. The best part is the service. Each and every member of the staff is very courteous and goes the extra mile to help you. In short the best hotel that I stayed while in Turkey... Hats off to the team!!

It is unique! I do not think there is another place in the world that one may sleep in comfort in a cave. It leaves the imagination reeling. Also, the stars were brillant.

The walk back up the hill, but then, where else would a safe place be than above the valley.

The staff was and breakfast were really good. Mustafa at reception does a great job making people feel welcome. Excellent terrace view of the town of Goreme. Nice place to relax with a bottle of wine after a day trip through one of the scenic valleys.

Staff service was amazing. Once we arrived at the hotel, the staff immediately sits you down and helps you go through all questions you have and provides all the information regarding activities/things to do in Cappadocia. Even more, he offered to drive us to the open air museum and other nearby locations. The hotel also recommended a day tour, hot air balloon ride and horse back riding, all of which we enjoyed tremendously. The suite we stayed in was spacious, clean, comfortable and classy. Also, the hotel offers its guest to use (for free) the hamam (turkish bath) located in its sister hotel right next door. We tried the turkish peel and soap massage at the spa and was great after a whole day of activities.

Wifi in my room was quite weak

The staff were super helpful. The owner of the hotel when we asked where we should go for a hike, offered to drive us to a good starting off point where we could walk back to the hotel in a few hours. The rooms were also heated, which was quite nice, as it was cold outside. We also had to get up early to catch a cab to the airport, so the owner had the kitchen open early for us. Oh, and did I mention the breakfast!? It was the best selection I had through my stay in Turkey

Our room was one of the two actual caves that were built around to make hotel rooms. So it was awkward getting up in the night to use the bathroom. I literally fell out of the cave room (where our bed was located) into the main room built around the cave almost every time, rolling my ankle once. They need a step or something set up to help someone down out of the dave.

A brilliant and unique hotel situated in a environment I guarantee you will never have seen before.Take the good advise of the hotel staff and enjoy a wonderful break. You need at least four nights stay to fully appreciate the area and you won`t want to leave the Sultan Caves in a hurry.

the hotel is great. room is beautiful with wonderful view, hotel management and staff are very kind , helping and attentive to traveller's needs, they make you to feel at home . Food at their restaurant is absolutely delisios. there is a very nice Hamman with different kind of massages

It is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and definitely the best breakfast of our entire trip!!

It was snowing heavily and there was no fireplace in the room as promised on the website and my booking confirmation.
