One socket in room. No tv. Decor not good. No signage, almost impossible to find and not one person had heard of the hotel

The hotel is an oasis. The staff make the holiday. It is so peaceful and relaxing. A real getaway.

    The mosquitoes

As a solo female traveler I wanted a place with easy access from the airport and a welcoming staff and clientele. The Sultan Palas had both and much more. If you don't need to be in the center of nightlife this is a wonderful option. Regularly scheduled boats shuttle you to and from town up the scenic river. The hotel is in a beautiful area surrounded by hills and orchards. Sheep and goats graze nearby and fruit trees dot the property. Although they provide Wifi there are no TV's or phones in the rooms (fine by me). A group did gather by the lobby tv for an animated viewing of a soccer game. The pool and hammocks were great and many excursions are available in town. The Turkish bath at the bc Hotel Spa was wonderful.

Wifi could be somewhat erratic. The food selection is basic... Traditional Turkish breakfast and three entree selections and several meze at dinner. Being near the sea I wished they offered seafood during the five nights I was there. I think it was on the menu after I left. This hotel has many repeat visitors and the general buzz was that the food had been better in previous years. I didn't think it was bad, just that the entrees were not exciting.

Natural and beautiful outside; clean, elegant and comfortable inside.

The only downside for us was the restaurant. The meals could be much better considering the overall quality of the hotel. Also a fridge in the room would be useful.

    Very welcoming, beautiful quiet location.

Having to rely on transport to cross the river to access the local area.
