Score from 549 reviews Wonderful
Friendly welcome, helpful staff, generally appealing look of the place, nice breakfast on a terrace witha view of the Bosphorus, inexpensive in comparison with some other 'special category' hotels in this area.
Slightly tatty decor in the bedroom, rather thin walls between the rooms - noise from other guests travels.
Location of Hotel Friendliness of Staff Breakfast Room size for Istanbul in this prices bracket was excellent
Nothing to dislike
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff
Location Friendly staff Cozy rooms Restaurants and bars close by
Breakfast (although still correct and with amazing views to Bosphorus)
It was the best room we have ever had in Istanbul. Large room with wonderful, comfortable king size bed, jacuzii (!) in the room, nice bathroom with big shower, coffee pot, nice armchairs, pretty Turkish carpets... Breakfast best ever. Receptionists helpful and smiling... And all this so close to Sultanahmet Square... Undoubtedly a "10". We want to come back!
We liked absolutely everything.
The size of the triple room. The location of the hotel.
The picture of the double room shown on booking.com did not match the room we were given. The room we were given was a single room with an extra bed. The room shown on booking.com was a double room with a sofa suite. We had booked a double room and a triple room. Upon arrival staff said they would assist with the luggage. They opened a door from the reception, the rooms were on the other side of the door with an elevator opposite. Staff then hovered an inappropriate length of time waiting to be tipped. The noise was unbearable. We asked to be moved and we moved to the third floor. Upon leaving we were not offered assistance to bring the luggage into the lobby.
the hotel is very clean the breakfast is very nice
I stayed this hotel for 4 nights. The weather were not good for us, but we enjoyed around old town on foot with bus and trams. It is worth to visit for this town.
The staff were so helpful special reception guy Samir we really appreciate the way he communication with the guess . And rest of the staff were kind to assist us too ...The hotel is not a star but we were stayed during our stay. And definitely I will surely recommend this place to my friend. Comfortable place value of money and location wise everything is around ...
Nothing much everything is fine with us.
I liked the location of the hotel. Staff was very cooperative and courteous.
Good size (triple) room, clean and 5 min walk from Blue Mosque.
Staff seemed to rush us, hotel is dated in general and hard to find.
Good location: 3 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and tram nr.1. But quiet rooms Clean room (cleaning was good every day, new towels, etc.) Big room, enough place for babybed and other stuffs (superior double room)
Breakfast tables on the terrace were not cleaned after the seagulls Pictues are better than the reality (breakfast variety, room and bathroom conditions), but all was OK.
kind, caring staff in a small European-style hotel; great location in the Old Quarter within easy walking distance of Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, both 'must-sees' (and the room looked out on the Sea of Marmara); transportation to and from airport (available for added fee).
the location was superb good restaurants sightseeing in ten minutes
Location. Pleasant walk. All important locations at walking distance. Lot of restaurants and mini-marts nearby.
Internet. Need to improve breakfast a bit.
Proximity to the central tourist attractions of Istanbul, Presence of restaurants, shops, convenience store just outside the hotel
The glasses in the bathroom sink, though wrapped in plastic supposedly to appear sanitized, smelled bad.
Every single person on staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. A special mention for D'lan for making breakfasts so special.
Rooms could be updated.
The location and helpfulness and graciousness of the staff.
Could hear activity of neighbors. Not a problem if they are respectful and quiet.
Great staff.. Vert helpful and friendly.. Good english so not hard to communicate. Amazing Location.. Walking distance to all major sights, restaurants and bars.
When doing check out at 2am their POS wasn't working and we had to walk to an ATM to withdraw money.. Wasn't the best way to finish the stay but staff were very apoligetic and one of them accompanied us. Breakfast could have been better.
It was a wonderful hotel stay and convenient in terms of location and the location where it was close to the most beautiful places in Istanbul, the staff are the best, helpful and smiling feel like you're with family
Overall, the breakfast was good but need to diversity and innovation.
-- Overall nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms (hot water!), in a good location, near lots of restaurants and shopping and major tourist sites, all very walkable. -- friendly helpful staff. -- good breakfast with great views of the Bosphorus from the breakfast and rooftop terraces. -- I like all the neighborhood cats.
-- first room had some minor problems (plumbing, bed), but they let us change to a better room with views of the Bosphorus. -- a bit of very loud late night Turkish music emanating from the neighborhood just below the hotel -- don't know if that's a regular occurance or not. -- in a tourist hotel ghetto, mostly very charming, but very touristy. -- can't leave the neighborhood without running the gauntlet of incessant aggressive restaurant menu touts -- can be amusing or charming but more often annoying and tiresome. -- neighborhood vehicle traffic.
I came late-about 12pm and wanted to sleep very much. They gave room 404. It's infront of lift and next to reception. It was the worst. I can hear everything from corridor like people were in room and I hear next door toilet. I complain and they gave room in Azade Premier Hotel for night. Thanks, I slept good. Next night hotel gave us room with jacuzzi and sea view. It was good but needs repair.
Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast was very basic, should have more variety. The check-in in the adjacent room at 1.00 am created a lot of noise and we had to wake up in the middle of the night and could not go back to sleep for few hours. The air-conditioning is controlled by the reception and makes life difficult when you want to change the temperature. Every time you are required to call the reception to make it cold or warm!
Very good and friendly staff specially Anas and Adam. Anas helped us alot, thank you Anas :) .The location is great
