Had a nice stay at the Sunset Cave Hotel. Hassan and Chetin were very accommodating and they really showed Cappadocia hospitality. We found people in Cappadocia were very sincere and went out of their way to help us. We joined the green tour through the hotel and it was worth it as we got to see many of the sites we wouldn't have ourselves. As for the rooms, it was an experience to stay in the caves. Only thing is we didn't know you can view the rooms beforehand and secure the room you want as when we wanted to switch rooms, the rooms we wanted were already spoken for by people who'd viewed it earlier. No big deal. Breakfast there was probably more basic than what we've had during the rest of the trip. Again not a big deal. Hassan allowed us to have breakfast the day we arrived which we appreciated very much. We also got to have breakfast at one of their other hotels which was much nicer. :) Thanks again for your hospitality. Not a fan of the extra mattresses stored in our triple room.

Our de-luxe rooms were very cosy, with a private patio ,and a wonderful bath to relax in after a busy day,s sightseeing. Breakfasts were good, and we had fresh pastries and cake on our last day.Chetin was very helpful, and able to guide us in our daily plans,we were very happy with our choice of hotel and would return again. The stairs up to the room were steep, but the view at the top was well worth it!!

The hotel staff were very helpful. We had a leaky roof, and they were very apologetic and gave us some souvenier tablecloths as we were leaving. The breakfast was good, and the price was good. The rooms were fun - had the feeling of being in a cave hotel. Just the leaky ceiling - but the staff were very accomodating.

Perfect location, it's only 3 min to sunset point, but not too high. Nice, funny staffs, good breakfast. Even it is hotel but you can make something in the kitchen. Little bit cold in winter but not bother me.

It feels that owner (the man who meets the guests) tries to do his best, he is extremely friendly. He didn't even ask us for our passports while it was asked in every hotel in Turkey. Also he gave us 'lux' room with jacuzzi instead of standard one, it seemed pleasant fact before we had spent at least 1 hour inside :) Maybe standard room should be better... good view from 'lux' room. good room size. It was no kettle and teacups in the room despite it should be according to the booking.com description. No minibar (fridge was absolutely empty). We didn't need it but it was in the description. No safe box. In the bathroom after having a shower or a bath it was a giant puddle. Jacuzzi after turning on its features smelled awful. No curtains in the bathroom but it seems that a puddle caused not only by this fact. Poor wi-fi - signal was ok just in one half of the room close to the door, in other half with bed wi-fi signal was very bad, unstable and unusable cause weak router is too far from the room and walls are thick. In winter it matters a lot. Poor breakfast, staff in the kitchen doesn't speak English at all. Overall impression - everything in the hotel is done just anyhow...

The hotel staff's hospitality was overwhelming. No request was a burden and they went out of their way to find us seats on a fully booked bus to our next destination. I can't recommend this place enough. Great sunset, great staff, great view and you get to live in a cave for a few nights! How often can you say that. You never want to leave

Great location, walking distance from many atractions, good breakfast, wifi was working perfect. Also the biggest choice of tv programs (not that you'd want to watch tv all day, but it was nice to be able to watch the news from home in the home language in the evening). They offer free pickup at the bus station. The owner was a bit unpleasant. At the beginning very kind and friendly, but when we decided not to take any of the tours he oferred (like the baloon ride), he became unfriendly and arrogant. Also he gave us false information about all rental cars beeing totally booked, and that we should accept his offer. Later that day we found plenty of choice for car rental, at much cheaper price.

We wanted a room in the caves and got it. It is a very special feeling, we loved it. The room was clean and confortable. Of course, we had to climb a few floors, but that was part of the atmosphere. The staff was helpful and reserved our air balloon trip, which we highly recommand to all visitors in Cappadocia. We recommand this hotel, the price is good, the location is good, the staff is hepful.
