položaj hotela , design pravi bogati istočnjački , za nas možda malo prenakičen, ali to je Istanbul i to mu savršeno odgovara

da je soba bila malo veća bilo bi savršeno ali s obzirom da u njoj samo spavate zapravo je O.K.

location, decor of hotel and receptionist mehmet. their kebab house was also very good, good food and very good staff especially bilal and mehmet. rooms are nice and clean and they were very generous in trying to make us happy, didnt charge for milk

rooms tooooooo small. most staff didnt speak english and refered all questions to mehmet.

I like the location and design, but there is misleading information on booking.com web page on breakfast. The breakfast they said they serve is not included in the price of your reservation.

The misleading web page statement on breakfast. "Daily breakfast is served in buffet style. Guests can enjoy unique tastes of Turkish cuisine and kebabs in Sura Kebab House, which grows its own organic vegetables and meat in their own farm" The booking do not include breakfast" . I argued this because on previous occasion I phone the hotel to make sure that the price included breakfast, and they did, but this time, they want to charge an extra Euro 22 per person. I declined. I asked for a taxi as they use their own company, I wanted to go to Ortakoy which is an easy ride at around 9.30 pm week day. From the outset the taxi driver on car number plate 34 tee 85 indicated that was problem, I told him I know Istanbul very well, but he tried to con me and took me a very long route, in short wanted to charged me tl 35.00. I refused to paid him. I took his number plate and photo of his car on my Iphone, then he settled for tl 20.00 by then he has fully spoiled my evening out, a disgrace corrupted driver.

Location of the hotel was very central to all the main attractions in Istanbul, with Hayia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar all within walking distance. The hotel furnishing were a fantastic mix of moment with a traditional Turkish theme.

No negative comments about the hotel - everything from the staff to room to the food was fantastic.

great Location close to all tourist sites, nice rooms and good service

the beds are slightly small. it seems that all the rooms have 2 single beds in them which are joined if you require a double...I found the single beds on the small size and I am not a big person...

The rooms were unique and special. The location could not be beat. The service was fantastic.

They charged an additional $20 euro for an extra person (my fiancé) which I thought was tacky and cheap.

Location - Resonable price

I made my reservation on the 13th and I arrive on the 16th early around 8:00 am. The hotel receptionist did not find my reservation. I had the booking.com reservation number but apparently it was useless. The receptionist asked me to wait till his manager would come. They eventually gave me the same type of room I had booked and at the price I had booked but It seems that I was lucky that the hotel was empty because it looks like there was no trace of my booking. I do not know if the problem is coming from the hotel or from booking.com but it s what happened.

الفندق فخم وجميل وموقعه ممتاز بحكم قربه من منطقة مسجد السلطان احمد وآيا صوفيا، ونظيف من اجمل الفنادق التي قد سكنت بها، فيها الطابع العثماني، خدمة تنظيف الغرف ممتازه، اطلبوا الغرف اللي على الحديقة افضل من اللي تطل على الشارع.

الميني بار تأكدوا قبل استلام الغرفة انه كامل لانهم يسلمون بعض الغرف وهناك نقص في الميني بار ثم يحسبونها عليك، موقع الفندق للتكاسي صعب شوي، الفطور غير جيد وسعره مرتفع

I booked a smoking room in this hotel,but during check in I was informed that I can smoke only on balcony. It was raining all the evening and balcony was full of water. That because I'd to go down to open air cafe for smoking. it was not comfortable.

Location location location, but that's about it

Housekeeping service was terrible, we always had to call them to come and make up the rooms. Prices were also unjustified but then again location was prime

Great location and beautiful rooms. Sleep quality second to none. Restaurant very good and reasonably priced. Restaurant staff were brilliant.

The staff were initially very friendly but once we pointed out they had made a mistake with our booking (we had booked a triple room but given a small double with no room for an extra bed) their smiles faded away and the service became icy. Had we not had our printed e-mail correspondence with them with us, we would have ended up having to pay way more than agreed. After the mistake was sorted out, the friendliness never returned. We had the phone put down on us on 2 occasions when calling to request ice / ask them to call us a cab. A great shame when the hotel itself was so lovely.

The Hotel is stylish which is absolutely the difference to others.

At check-in the receptionist was not given his full attention to the new guest and the action took unnecessary long. This was not what we’d like to understand as a warm welcome. The Hotel room was for a Deluxe Room with balcony to the back, nice and stylish as the lobby. We had two beds but these beds are only 80cm broad (like size of some first class bed in airlines). The wardrobe was not much broader, what is not much thinking on a couple spending 4 nights there. On top we had to share the wardrobe with a safety box. This safety box was positioned about 35 cm from the floor. So you can imagine that you have to kneel down to access the safety box and insert your numbers. The provide space to put our respective toilet bag etc. where been very limited for the two of us. The room has been cleaned to our satisfactory but the table on the balcony and the ashtray never been cleaned during the entire stay. The breakfast was nice but there was always a bad kitchen smell. All over we have to say that style comes for functionality and the price don’t fit to the offered service.

"Sura" is a very good hotel. Nevertheless, there are some minor things which need improvement. First and most important - hotel staff MUST improve English language skills! Secondly, for a hotel which is just one year old, I would expect a bit more clean and well maintained room.
