Score from 376 reviews Very good
excellent location, lovely rooms. It was my husbands 65th birthday and we booked the al a Carte restaurant, at no extra charge and the staff were brilliant.
the dining arrangements, staff in the dining room very slow to clear tables and on the second day there was a conference in the hotel and we were unable to get a table at lunch, so had to eat at the snack bar with very poor selection.
Restaurant was under staffed so the serving time took longer. We had no idea where the snacks were being served.Drinks menu was very limited with every drink being blue in colour. Breakfast/Dinner was okay but the menu was repetitive. we were given a room with garden view but it meant we were far away from the main hotel rooms. The room did not have the basic coffee/tea making facility and had spider webs under some furniture. The toilet was ridiculously positioned. One shower and the whole toilet room became wet and slippery as there was no glass door. The soap dispenser in the toilet despite our request was not filled with liquid soap, instead we were given 3 tiny bottles of the same..Pool got shut down by 5pm though the closure time displayed was 8pm. The hotel surprisingly was full but that meant delays in people getting served. The hotel just does not know how to cater to 300+ guests.Ephesus memory ruined by our stay in Surmeli.was like staying in a one star hotel and not five star.
It was clean and the small man was very helpfull and tries to do an entertainment job under difficult circumstances ,the staff where polite as well and thats it nothing to shout home about
The food was abysmal especially for the time of year ,for overseas visitors remember it was christmas ,at times it was cold and if you don't like chicken or bony fish then there was no choice, there was nothing to do everywhere in the hotel was closed we will not be going back not worth the money we paid for 3 day'S.do not use all inclusive hotels in turkey they havn't a clue
Poor choice at mealtimes
The all inclusive program was convenient. It was nice not to worry about having cash or paying for every meal.
It was a bit like a cruise ship on line. The main dining hall was massive and people would crowd at the door at the beginning of the dining hour and then make made mad dashes for tables.
