The hotel is 5 star all the way, you pay for 5 stars and get 5 stars. All the staff is friendly and helpfull and don't leave any stone unturned to be of assistance.The breakfast is excellent! It is apitty the hotel is not located on a beach as it would then be a perfect combination. I can say nothing negative about the hotel and will return one day.

Very clean, staff very nice and helpful, fantastic location on a relatively quiet street, close to all major shopping in Kordon area of Izmir and some great restaurants too. Food in Swiss Cafe a bit overpriced. The same tomato and kashar sandwich that costs 2 tl out on the street is 17 tl and Cokes which are about 1.50 tl outside are 5 tl inside. If you want to eat, go out in town and save yourself a bunch of money.

It was just awesome !!!! I can say that my future existance in izmir would be absolutely at this hotel!!! The staff was perfect polite and helpful!! Thanks for everything There could be more jacuzzi pools and the breakfast could be cheaper !!!

the location was great. the hotel was in the city center. airport shuttle bus station was in front of the hotel. staff was very helpfull and respectful. the spa and indoor pool was great. the ambiance in the pool was great. 1. the air condition was drying the climate of room. that's why i got bad feeling in my throat each morning when i wake up. 2. the ergonomy and design of upside of minibar was no good. there was a glass partition for mugs and i wanted to use kettle on the refrigirator to make some tea and i was concentratef on kettle and teas. In the meanwhile i got too close to minibar and i could not recognise the glass partition on the refrigirator and hit my head there.

Absolutly 10 points for swissotel in izmir. I have stayed in quite a lot 5 stars hotels before, but this one is really the best hotel I have ever stayed. The Spa is really great, which is just what you need after a few days in cappadocia. Aquarium is amazing, way better than Deniz which a lot of tourist would go but the price is about the same. Staff is absolute the best staff I have every met in my life, very friendly and so helpful, have to mention that the room attendence gives you surprises everyday. Another thing to say is that the tour that ordered from the hotel provides a very high quality service(selcuk,efes bergama) and reasonable price, guide is so knowledgeble and the lunch was very nice too(a lot better than the normal tour lunch). Izmir impressed me because of Swissotel. It makes me miss Izmir.

The hotel staff was great and service oriented. The hotel was comfortable and had a list of services to offer. Great gym and spa. Hotel was very security conscious.

The Hotel felt like a luxury beach resort but in the middle of the city.. And you didn't feel like your were in the city until you left the hotel as the pool and gardens were contained by the hotel buildings to create a private and relaxed atmosphere. The indoor pool was as excellant as the outdoor pool and all the facilities were highly maintained. Little things like having free water bottle in the pool locker was nice... The sauna and stem room with relaxation music was a nice touch... The room itself was good size and perfectly laid out with separate bath and walkin shower. There was a balconey to every room... The hotel is apparently quite old but it looks new from inside and out... The older hotel tends to have larger rooms which means you get the modern interior with larger rooms... Little things like pleanty of complementary coffee was nice and the use of an Iron and board for the full stay was nice as some five star hotels insist you use the dry cleaning service which make you feel like they are money grabbing. This was not the case for the swissotel. I was completely relaxed in what was truely five star hotel. I can't believe you can get this luxary in the centre of the city centre.

Bad isolation of the rooms. You wake up by the talking of the cleaning ladies in the corridor. The hotel organises a lot of weddings in the garden (3 nights of my 7 night-stay). You can't sleep before the party ends at twelve.

The best I like is the staff kindness, especially Mr. Kaan on the reception as well as mehmet the bellboy. Kaan is so helpful and would like to thank him for his professional service. I also liked the location and the breakfast of the hotel.I Definitlty can say that this a real 5 stars hotel and the best hotel in izmir.
