Amazing views, very good breakfast and friendly staff. The roof bar is very good too, highly recommended.

I could not see any view of Bosphorus from the room !!!!

every thing is wounderful espcially the veiw on the posphorous . it is amazing. staff was all friendly.

To whom it may concern, As we are a frequent clients at booking.com and all our hotel reservations for all our travel triips are done through booking.com, we would like to submit this complain. During our stay at Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul between 28th Mar and 5th May in Rooms number 953 and 1214 (booked for Mazen Masri and Ahmad Al Khatib), we were very disappointed from many issues. First,while booking through booking.com, we asked for rooms at higher floors and access to the business lounge as a special request. We didn't get any reply from the hotel and when we reached there, we found out that the rooms we had were at lower floors and we were banned from accessing the business lounge unless we pay 80 euros / day / person. If so, why we didn't know that earlier before our arrival to the hotel, maybe we could have changed our booking and considered that within our trip budget as Our other friends did who were able to access the business lounge and we were not able to join them. Second, while we were checking out we were charged extra 436 euro for car parking and mini bar despite the fact that we didn't take anything from the mini bar and we didn't have a car to park it. In addition, one of the reception staff named Leonard was very surprised saying that it is impossible to charge us anything if we didn't use any of them, and it took him an hour and a half of investigations to discover at the end that we were right and truthful persons. Excellent location with panoramic view on Bosphorus, large modern spa facilities, Gaja gourmet restaurant.

Old hotel facilities to be refurbished.

The beds were uncomfortable. Our AC was working properly during the day time, but becomes very hot during the bedtime. They do not have varieties in the breakfast.

The room is pretty worn out. Fittings and fixtures are very old and need a renewal urgently. Too expensive for what it is.

The location was perfect. The staff upon check In were great. The bell boy took his time to explain to me the room facilities. Very clean and proper hotel. Would definitlely recommend to others and stay there again. Got upgraded to a suite which was great!

Location and the Galea Restaurant on 14th floor

Breakfast buffet: quality and variety far below 5-star standard, price (30 Euro/person) exorbitant compared to value

Everything! Your staff in particluar were wonderful from top to bottom. In the words of my wife who has travelled to some fairly unsavoury places as part of her work in the past said the best thing of all was the fact your staff were non judgemental. It didn't depend on who you were just the fact that someone stayed at your hotel was enough for the level of service to remain consistent throughout. As we said in the form we gave to the concierge when we left - we will return.

The bar indoors by the lobby is old and not lively and does not have the best view to Bosporus

the hotel has excellent view on the Bosphorus, specially when staying at the 15th floor. rooms are big and very comfortable, th e hotel team was very friendly and helpfull. we were delighted with our stay over there, the hotel is very close from Dolmebache Palas. you still need taxi to go around the city.

Overall quality of hotel, the executive room (we received an upgrade to room 1745), executive lounge, the views, teh taxi service, the breakfast, and specially the spa facilities.
