Great hotel with beautiful view of valley and Mr. Murat (Hotel Owner) was an excellent guy.

The staff were terrific. Absolutely above and beyond.

It was the one of the best traveling experiences I ever had. Murat the owner was very helpful and went out of his way to make our holiday pleasant. He organised the hot air balloon trip, rental of a car and the shopping of ceramic plates for us. Highly recommended!!!!

This hotel was by far our best experience in Turkey. It is unbelievably gorgeous and the views from the terrace are amazing. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. Free bottled water for hiking is great. The best part about this hotel, however, is the staff. They will help you plan your day and know the best routes to hike and drive. There is even a hiking trial you can get on from below the hotel. The staff also gave great restaurant recommendations! The owner, Murat, is one of the most friendly, generous people you will meet. He takes so much pride in his hotel and loves to chat with guests and make them feel at home. Unbelievable place! You would easily pay 3 times the price for this type of hotel in the U.S.

Friendly,courteous and helpful staff, especially Murat, who is the owner of Takaev. He took the time to give us recommendations on where to hike and the best times to avoid crowds, as well as organized our hot air balloon ride. The place is most similar to a no-frills B&B and the accommodations are unique in that you're living in cave - so don't expect flat screen tvs and air conditioning. Be open to the experience!

Murat the owner bends over backwards to make his guests feel at home and arranges tours and walks for them. Free services abound such as endless bottles of water, use of the washing machine and dryer and transport to museums, tour connections and freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

The views are just great in this hotel. The terrace is amazing and it's worth for everything the rest. Decoration is nice and authentic. Breakfast is ok, changing a bit every day (the yogurt is really good!). You should try the dinner in the hotel, with typical turkish homemade food.

However, the hotel needs to improve its cleanness. Our bed had some sand in the first day (were the sheets clean?). Besides that, the mattress and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable. Also the Internet signal was too weak in several parts of the hotel.

Wonderful staff, great location, comfortable rooms. The breakfasts and dinners (extra) were also terrific.

The staff was friendly and Mr. Murat arranged everything I needed. Actually, he was so kind that when I got to the hotel after a long bus trip from Ankara, he asked the staff to made me a sandwich so I didn't lose any time having lunch. The room was huge and the view at the breakfast was spectacular. Try the dinner they serve to the guests, it's delicious!

The hotel is not within a walking distance from Gorëme, but whenever possible the hotel gave me a ride to the city. Not such a big deal.

The owner, Murat was very friendly and made our stay at Taka Ev memorable one. His concept of "be it the guest's house" is reflected in many places such as offers of laundry facility and free flow of mineral water bottles. The view from the room was amazing with Kappadochia valley and especially hot air balloons in the sky in the early morning. I recommend to wake up early(around 6-7AM) and view the scenary if you are not on the balloons yourself! Taka Ev became one of the hotels I'd definitely want to go back. Merci Beaucoup to Murat and his team!

We had a dinner at Taka Ev. It was quite decent but it could be improved.

The rooms were amazing (we stayed in 3 different rooms) and staff are most friendly and competent. Unforgettable views.

What I didn't like... nothing :)

The staff, particularly the owner Murat and receptionist Enis, were helpful beyond imagination, offering assistance well beyond the ambit of their service. I truly enjoyed a home away from home experience!

The hotel boss: Murat, was extremely friendly, taking care of our daily activities like no one else (he offered us for free to guide us in one hiking trip). Also, the dinner is excellent, not expensive and there is a lot to eat. I strongly recommend this pension / hotel.

There is sympathetic ambience, you feel at home yourself, stafs are good people.

Sometimes you meet an exceptional person who touches your life. Murat, who runs this hotel, is such a person. He makes all his guests feel very welcome and comfortable, he helps them to plan their days and even takes them out on walks with him. He took us, along with some other guests, to the magical Rose Valley.His cave hotel is rated as the best B&B in Ushisar and he certainly deserves this accolade. We paid a little extra for our room to have the great view over more or less the whole region. We woke one morning to the sight of a sky full of hot air balloons rising from the valley.We loved the feel of staying in a cave room. Breakfast was abundant, fresh and delicious....lovely to sit out on the terrace taking in the view. Tea, coffee and bottled water available all day in the dining room. An excellent home cooked dinner was available to order for the evenings. We were so sad when it was time to leave and would recommend Takaev to anyone wanting the personal touch in a fabulous cave hotel.

Amazing setting on the cliffs of Uchisar. The view from the terrace was wonderful. Our cave room was a perfect retreat at the end of the day. Murat and his staff are incredibly warm and nothing was too much trouble for them. Murat organized each day for us. Our hiking trip to the Rose Valley with him was the highlight of our trip. Dinner at Takaev is also a real treat.....a mutli-course home-cooked feast.

We stayed one night but spent too much time in hotel. Staffs are quite polite and kind to us. Especially Eniz who runs reservation desk helped us much.. We definetaly choose the same hotel if we d go there again..

Amazing place: fantastic view from the terrace overlooking Cappadocia, the rooms are original, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous location with unbelievable views.

The staff at Takaev make our trip extraordinary. They help arranged everything. Murat - the owner is an excellent host. He brought us to Rose / Red Valley and share the secrets of Coppadocia with us. His genuine warmth and sincerity is simply second to none. Dinner served is excellent with home made ingredients. Fantastic place!
