We made the reservation and it was confimed but when we reached the hotel the y told us there is no room. and we had to pay 120 Euro/per room. I was sad that paid a lot
Staff were very helpful
It was a bit noisey
location and room size aircon in room complimentary airport shuttle complimentary breakfast cheap travel - istanbul card costs 7TL + preloading can use one card for group ease of getting anywhere in city centre from taksim square using metro funicular to kabitas and tram system from there dubliner irish bar on side street at rear of hotel
roof pool not open as undergoing alterations extreme noise from builders on 2 afternoons hotel spa was nice but a little pricey
SAUNA NOT WORKING BREAKFAST IS VERY BAD AC WERE NOT WORKING MOST OF THE TIMES STAFF DOES SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL LOCATION IS AWFUL
Great location. We were a couple and were allocated a huge room. Plenty of space to spread out and complimentary fruit, chocolate and Turkish delight was a nice touch.
Shower over the bath could be re-thought; not the right kind of shower head for an over-the-bath shower as it was very close to the wall. Spa bath needed some repair. Very busy breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning which the staff did not seem prepared for. Surely the hotel knows how many people are booked for stays and should plan accordingly
every thing was nice.
Location Staff Nice breakfast
Value voor money Excellent location
Rooms to street noisy
Air conditioning unit did not work in my room as well as my colleague's rooms. Food at the restaurant took an excessive amount of time to get to the table and the quality of the food was low.
the size of the room was good, the location is near to Taksim
the air conditioning was bad. the staff was little rude. the price is expensive compared to the service
One min walk from Taksim Bug Bus Tour: Just 5 min walk Very close to shopping street All historical places are just at 15min drive away
Roof top restaurant was not operational :(
Everything was just great! Definitely my preferred hotel in Istanbul
- Hotel is clean
- The guys in front desk are unprofessional guys . - Location, Taksim is bad - Hospitality was really bad .
* VERY comfortable - the outdoor pool is a must, and the rooms are lovely. * The location is ideal - you are on top of the hill, with great views (ours was not of the Bosphorus but was still excellent). * The staff are very nice and extremely helpful - late checkouts, free breakfasts and free airport transfers!
* We had trouble with the room service: - often items on the menu were not actually available, or at times room service itself wasn't available. - Our language issues (we didn't speak Turkish) made it more difficult to communicate exactly what we wanted, leading to errors in the order.
On arrival staff were really helpful and the room was large, clean and comfortable. Because it was so noisy we asked to move rooms, but some of the other rooms offered were really small and smokey. It's right next to the main square (if you've been to London, think Leicester Square vibe) and transport was really easy, including a bus to the airport. Breakfast was included and had a good choice, although was served in a windowless room. We were on the 9th floor with good views and the pool area (although small and a bit dated) was a bonus.
Sometimes the staff weren't helpful and a couple of times were rude. They couldn't recommend places to eat nearby and just pointed in the vague direction of the main square. Going to sleep was like sleeping in a nightclub - partly because a window in the room was faulty. My main grumble would be difficulty sleeping and so I probably wouldn't stay again. I'd suggest staying a bit further away from the main square and street.
Not much - location good
Just a tired hotel - staff only adequate. Could be good but not.
Very bad services they dont clean ur room if u didnt tell them, we didnt have those papers that should be hanged on the door telling them to clean the room, they dont change the towels even if ask, overall bad experience
bath and long pool
It was close to taksim square and evrrything was near the hotel.
Rude reception staff and unhelpful: I asked the reception to make a reservation at a restaurant and when the agent called the restaurant, he asked for a commission. Deceptive photos: old looking and a bit shabby facilities and hotel. Weak wifi signal in the rooms and limited to one device par person
very good clean hotel, it's small but with everything inside. You can spend hours inside to get relax. excellent location at the corner with Taksim square with everything around. Very nice facilities to spend hours inside even if they are a little bit old. Nice bar next to the lobby with the small terrace on the the street.
the rooms are with no a thick curtain or blind. the light comes inside at the morning and you can not sleep anymore if you need the dark. My friend's suite room was with no curtain. I have sent some clothes to the laundry , paying a lot, they have came back very wet, of course i could not use them. the solarium on the roof would be beautiful with more chairs, they have covered most of the solarium for the restaurant area. Why? The solarium now is not big like in the pictures. The restaurant was always empty, it would have been nicer to have a new solarium area. then the music was too laud.
