Location is excellent being close to tourist places and tram stops, hotel staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating, room size decent and clean, breakfast good with fresh juice and omelette, Chipo the pet of the hotel and another puppy were lovely with the kids, overall very good hotel and strongly recommended. |

after having visited only in 2009 more than 20 different hotels in different parts of Europe we stayed for a week in Istanbul at the TAN hotel - absolutely perfect in all conditions. Very central location, but very calm. 1 minute to the tram station, 5 min walk to the blue mosque, 5 min to Hagia Sofia. Very friendly stuff - always attend and giving good information. A superb breakfast buffet with almost everything, daily changing. Free use of WLAN and also free use of a computer. A very clean room with daily changing of towels and bed-linen. What more could you expect - we will recommend it to everybody - and hope, to find still a free room at TAN hotel on our next stay to Istanbul. |

staff are all kind. we couldn't stay at this hotel on the first day due to the delay of our flight. even thogh it was not their fault, they gave us no charge for the cancellation. they helped us a lot during our stay. I want to come here back again if I have a chance to stay at istanbul. |

very good suit room and very good reseption. the only one question - it is not too easy to find this hotel because it's impossible to get it by car - 50 metters by foot! |

Good location near historical monuments, friendly staff, panoramic breakfast, feeling of a small comfortable accommodation. the location is good to visit the historical part of Istanbul but not for the nightlife which takes part in another district for which you need to take a cab or a tram. The hotel appears on some websites as a luxerious boutique hotel, which is not really the case. It is just a good tourist class hotel. Some details of design, especially in the bathroom already need slight referbuishement. The hotel management should take action. |

the design of the hotel is amazing, staff is very friendly and helpful, restaurant is pretty nice with really good buffet for the breakfast! We took tripple, it appeared to be 2 rooms-suite with jacuzzi. It's really value for money! + the location is perfect for sightseening - 5 min from the Blue Mosque and Aya-Sofia |

Very near to tramvay which is an excellent thing in the economic sense. In the vacinity to Blue mosque, Haya Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilca Sistern which are main attractions, located in Sultan Ahmed which is one of the most happening places in Istanbul. Hotel staff especially Erdem and Derya were most cooperative. Small setup, breakfast could be better. |

We really liked this hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore Istanbul; the staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is superb! We definitely recommend this hotel! Pancakes for the breakfast! :) |

Location, a few meters away from tram station, good breakfast (must try the yogourt and jellies), clean and comfortable room, nice staff. We had problems with hot water back at night after a full day of sightseeing. |

The Tan Otel is modern with simple decor and centrally located in Istanbul, a short walk to all the major sites with a rooftop terrace that has partial views of both the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. It is located on a side alley without any traffic so it is very quiet. We had a suite and were able to put our two sons on the sofa bed and have the bedroom to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No, it's a great hotel with excellent value for money. We would certainly stay there again! |
