room was spacious, bed comfortable. accommodation adequate to price
shower could have been cleaner. room was supposed to be soundproof but I could hear corridor and street noise.

Room was changed; new room was more expensive.
When i arrived to the Residence the staff tried to give me an apartment in the underground flour with smol's smell that wasn't that i booked. I was in this place others 2 times and i didnt have any problem
the location is good near to many things the staff
noisy, because there are many bars and clubs under the building . the building on a narrow, ramp street the lift is old and just for two persons there are bad smell
The gentleman who works the night shift (I think his name is Irdris) was just wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful.
Daytime staff and the guy in Sunday who told us our luggage would be moved to a locked and secure room on our last day lied. We left for six hours before our airport transport came only to find our bags had been in a public hallway the whole time.
Tan Hotel was a walking distance to my meetings and conference location
After I checked out they did not give me a final bill or statement. The next day after I left I found a new charge on my credit card. I immediately contacted my card issuer and alerted them and lodged a dispute.
No left it hard to go up if you are not athelet I don't like it I will not do it again You shoul imbrove your hotel guyz
At the beginning,They took us to a building near by ..very dirty one ..and when I told him this is not what we have reserved ..he said that the hotel is full !!we refused to stay at that dirty building ..so he suggest to stay at a smaller suit than the one we have booked ..with no money back of course ! we stayed a night in a very small one and smelly room ..next day they moved us to a bigger one ..I shocked because the smell was verybad ..at last we moved to another hotel and we left our money for the 2 extra nights as we have booked for 4 nights .Awful !!!!
I like the location.
They do not have a proper housekeeping. They do not maintain the toilet. Poor internet connection. One of our dress was disappeared from our room, I spoke with the manager of the hotel and he was just surprised.
Cost v/s Accomadation
- Not very clean - Staff so cold not very much willing to help or just lazy?
Good place (not so difficult to go upstairs! just several metres!) Comfortable flat with all needed inside, even washing mashine. There were 2 rooms, both with doors, one with bath/toilet inside it (bedroom), second one with kitchen and very comfortable sofa (my sister slept there wonderful with her ill back! - important). There was second WC with sink and washing machine wih entrance from hall of the "flat".
1. would be better to place small shower cabine inside washing machine in the second WC, 2.Very gloomy unfriendly man at reception, 3.very difficult to park car and no help from hotel staff in it.
Friendly welcoming, and requested services were well recognized along with value for money.
Paking space (but this is normal in Istanbul). Visa Card details were written by hand on the file (all was clear to everybody) this is very dangrouse action. Hotel management understood and the details were cutted out.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms (suites) we had in the main rsidence were very clean and spacious. The location is convenient. The internet was fast. However, despite the good qualities of the Tan, given their overbooking issues, we cannot recommend other travelers stay there.
When my colleague and I arrived for an 8 day stay, we were told we were upgraded. In fact they sent us to a different Hotel (Evoda). The rooms at the Evoda were brand new so they had various problems. No internet in some, no AC in one, a flawed door lock in one. So we got moved around, each of us 3 times. We accepted that as we were told we were the first guests in the renovated hotel and they were working out the problems. Then one morning, half way through our stay, as we were leaving for the day they said we had to change rooms. We said we would speak with them when we returned later in the day as we were late for a meeting. In fact, without our permission, during the day they packed our stuff and moved us back to rooms in the Tan. They said it was an upgrade. We were furious that the packed all of our personal belongings. The rooms they moved us to were very nice, large and spacious. As an explanation they said they moved us to the Evoda originally because they had overbook the rooms at the Tan. And they moved us out of the Evoda, because the Evoda had also overbooked. Had they explained to us their problem the day before they moved us we would not have had a problem and would have packed our things that night. Our colleague made a reservation later than the two of us and he was placed in a suite in a separate building from the main Tan residence. It was on the bottom floor at ground level and there was mold on the walls and the smell of mold in the room.
The apartment was really excellent, clean and comfortable and the service was very good. location is very near to Metro station and good shops.

House keeping didn't come everyday and when you ask them to come later they will not.
The room was clean and comfy. staff were helpful and friendly. they allowed two more friends to stay with us at a very low price. all in all I enjoyed my stay.
The entrance of the building was a little bit dirty.
Everything was very good, the staf did what they can to help us, kind and helpfull The location is verygood, you can walk to Taksim sq. But also the undrground is less than 50m from the hotel. In the neighborhood enough resturant and shops. We enjoyed our stay in Istanbul.
The bathroom shower was entirely too small.
Everything in the hotel was excellent, staff, location very good, near everything u need. If I will go to turkey again, I will book at Tan Hotels&Residences.

Only the rooms at the main building are like the ones on the website.
Was initially given room 21 which is in another building. Rooms were not cleaned for three days, washing machine not provided as promised. The lights in the other building is timed and if u r caught in between floors, you will be in pitch darkness to navigate up the narrow steps. No lift in that other building and we had to carry our own luggage up the stairs and in the dark. Very high fall risk. Also staff was friendly on the outside but made empty promises. Promised to change rooms since first night but only did so when we demanded on fourth day. Promised to get our clothes washed for free as washing machine not provided as promised but subsequently demanded money. Initially paid up airport transfer but subsequently said we need to top up when we already stated number of luggages from the start. Cancelled our original airport transfer and said "help us by giving us discount already". Very stressful stay throughout with different staff giving different attitude. One moment being nice and next trying to rip us off. We asked to speak to the manager but was denied the access. Communication between staff is backwards with handwritten messages on a communication book. Issues were just dragged on without solutions until we stood at the reception to ask for answers. Very disappointing!
