Location is good
Very tight and small Lift is too small goes up only to the third floor, my room was in the 5th floor and I was told that I have to take may laugage up in an un airconditioned very tight stairs Breakfast area is a jock, its just at the enterance of the hotel , very small and tight
We had a reservation for four days at Taxim Hotel Marin, but hotel staff moved us to another building because they gave the same room to another family.
its location near Taksim square
no left from the first till the end of the building the space for breakfast is very small and the menu is very very limited i will feel shy to eat as it will finish there are a lot of bars near the hotel which i don't think it is appropriate
Location of the hotel Working wireless Nice breakfast Friendly Staff Great price Great if you just want to visit the city and come to the hotel just to sleep
Our window opened to a wall, no air, no light, no view Some hot water problems
The room was clean. The air conditioning was functional.
I was given the room on the first floor - right behind the reception desk. There was too much noise - from all around - from random machinations to just people talking. I woke up several times during the night. The room doesn't get any sunlight through its windows - so it's hard to distinguish night and day in the room. It's kind of like being in a prison. I would not stay here again. Go book somewhere else if you can.
Nice friendly staff Close to shopping and easy access to tram
Elevator is too small and bad smell of the room
Good location, nice staff
Not very good breakfast, a small dining room
The location is really good, just next to Istiklal Av, but not very noisy. The staff is really helpful and nice, always with a smile on their face.
One day thay forgot to clean the room and after being warned about it they just apologized but they didn't clean it anyways. They decided to remove the doors and the windows for one day, got the workers in our room and replaced the windows and the door for an iron sheet without letting us know and the room was left to be opened by anyone. The room looked at a dirty service stairs with almost no light.
great location, staff was very helpfull and the room was comfortable
being in the centre and yet, in quiet place, really two minutes to istiklal street and taksim square. the hotel owner always ready to help with everything, at the reception no language problem. breakfast full and fresh. we all enjoyed our stay there.
Location, Cleanliness & the friendly staff...
was in good location close to taksim square. breakfast was good and staff was very friendly and helpful..
When we arrived on the first day we were told the room we booked was already occupied and They put us into 1floor room without windows. And terrible smell.
It doesn't have private parking
location is close to istiqlal street..
staff the guy yousif was very rude and gave no privacy to guests at all... I found a used condom in my room when i got back one night.. somebody used my room for sex while i was gone.. staff did not care enough to find out what happened?? ..this is my second stay but will never go back again...
They are very disorganised. We booked our room three week before arrival, still once we got there, we couldn't stay the first night because they overbooked. We weren't the only ones with this problem. We stayed three night and we saw the same thing with other two couples. Finally the fitted us in a room around the corner which wasn't a hotel room, it was dirty and small and they they refused to give our money back. The next morning they told us to be there at 8 am to get our room but it was only until 3 pm that we could moved in. Be aware of this if you don't wanna have the same problem.
Very bad nothing good , Staff they can't help u they aren't coprative the location bad also
Nice new room, comfortable double bed as requested and quiet enough. Manager and staff always helpful and polite. Good location, near Taxim square (metro station) and Istiklal (market)street.
a.The payment was arranged through booking in euros, but they required it in Turkish Liras and higher price. Much difference in excange rate as always in Turkey. Just pay in euros. b. We stayed for six nights, the room was never cleaned and the sheets on the bed not changed, just streched. The toilet always had a strong bad smell of drains. c. Good-basic breakfast, but without fruit.
Location , Staff ,
The first night we stayed at room 101 which was disaster ,the room was too small which you can hardly move , very small shower , and very noisy , because it is in same floor with reception and they talk loudly and the volume of TV was high also which was not comfortable . also there was a very bad smell in the room from the sewage which was in all room we tried . in 2nd day we changed the room which the only problem was the smell
1) Staff very friendly and helpful 2) Reasonably good location though the description on booking.com doesn't say the whole story. It is near Taksim Square in a rather seedy bylane. 3) Snack bar just abutting this hotel was super.
1) In India we are used to really really good hotels for the cost. Not at all value for money. 2) Horrible smelly room and toilet, does not look at all like picture supplied on website. The room is literally the size of an office cubicle and I am talking of the family suite. 3) Food - what food?? 4) Nearby restaurants particularly one that was recommended called M & N Cafe on Istiklal Street were poor and worse still cheats. Ad hoc bills were given to us and when confronted we were treated aggressively.
The hotel location is good. The price is so good. The staff are friendly.
The breakefast is so poor, it has to be much better.
every things was OK
I liked the location only unfortunately...
Be careful, I booked a room for 3 person and they gave a room does not fit for one person!!! they told me we are sorry and will change it for you tomorrow, and I read in the review many people they did the same with them!! I do not recommend this hotel for anyone.
The staff was very cooperative , especially Bareesh (rain ;)..) and lady staff as well, the only inconvenience was that after one day they moved one of my friends from terrace room to an ordinary room stating that he booked ordinary room although he paid for terrace...
Firstly ı really liked the location of the hotel. All staff also who work in reception welcome you happliy. You can find lots of facilities in the hotel. I did not live any bad things and most importatn thing is the hotel is really clean. I think that everbody should go there.
The front desk staff are the only good thing about this place
The entire experience with the hotel management was terrible, he is unprofessional and more focused on profit than guest experience. On check in we were told the hotel was full and we were moved to a hotel down the road. Luckily the alternate hotel was amazing, after 2 nights we were told to move back to the Taxim hotel, we refused, we had settled in to the other hotel happily, after much pleading by the owner we agreed on the condition that airport transfer would be provided for free, of course after promising to do this in front of several people, he managed to disappear the entire day and when called by his staff to confirm on the day of travel he blatantly lied and denied this was ever offered, we had to arrange our our transport within hours of our flight times...Bad service, not to be trusted, and you'll likely be taken advantage of if you ever have the misfortune in staying in this "hotel"...Booking.com should not be dealing with such a corrupt establishment
