Located right below the Blue mosque and Ayasofya.
Rooms weren't too sound proof. Lacks a little privacy.
The location is perfect. The value for money is really great ..we were upgraded in a Suite. The staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast is very decent. We were in Istanbul in winter so we could not really take advantage of the terraces but the hotel offers a fantastic summer restaurant on top roof which must be fabulous when the weather is sunny.
The bathroom was very nice and large but cold...we were there in the coldest season.
Amazing location, real friendly staff, complete breakfast including turkish dishes.
Internet was working pretty bad the whole days we were there. It´s the only problem I can say about the hotel.
great location, very comfortable beds, friendly personal, food and service was good
The rooms are much smaller and not so nice like seen on their homepage, also, it can be quite noisy in the night (on the floor and outside)
The staff was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end (we arrived to the hotel at midnight after a very tiring day of a visit to Galipoli battle fields followed by 5-hour-bus-trip to Istanbul). Good breakfast.
The room we got (probably it was due to the time of our arrival) was located in an underground floor and close to a noisy side street. I thought strange when I asked about Turkish bath services offered by the hotel and the receptionist advised me to look for other places.
The staff were good, the breakfast, very good.
Our room was next to a restaurant, (Not the Byzantines) at lunch for 2 hours and at dinner for about 4 hours we could hear chairs being dragged across a tiled floor. It was very annoying. Also, I was supposed to be billed in Canadian dollars but according to my visa statement they have billed me in U.S. dollars.
The hotel location is amazing, surrounded by beautiful shops and restaurants, amazing atmosphere and views. Close to the main attractions ie Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to assist. The beds are comfortable the rooms are clean and new with beautiful views of the sea. Breakfast is amazing, great choice and a beautiful real Turkish flair restaurant. Definitely recommend and would like to stay here again. THey gave us complimentary pens, drinks and assisted in every way they could.
nothing all was perfect
Very good but perhaps a trifle expensive
Exactly what you would want from a hotel. Staff were extremely helpful in many circumstances and over extended themselves in many cases for their guests. Also they were polite and made the guest feel as if it was a home. Facilities were great. Nice clean hotel. Location was amazing, literally 10 min walk to blue mosque. Has a great terrace restaurant with excellent food and great staff as well. Breakfast is very good with a wide selection. Overall excellent experience
nothing to note that we didn't like.
Location : very near to most attractions , tramway station Staff: very helpful
The concierge on duty on our arrival was particularly delightful and witty. All staff very accommodating. The room was sensational.
Breakfast Room view Guest relation service
No A/C in the room only Fan. SPA (Turkish Hammam) facility not included in the room cost, however it costs are too high comparing with the local ones.
Good and convenient hotel. Almost love the breakfast. Rooms are clean. Location is very good and close to the blue mosque and other services and restaurants..
Very very bad air conditioner, I could not stay more than one night because of it. Kind of small rooms and passages. Receptionists and staff are not friendly.
Location. Very close to most attractions. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topcapi etc. Staff very nice. Birol at reception a very friendly chap. Young lady with blond hair and glasses also looked after us. I cannot remember her name(sorry). Staff makes you feel at home. Down fall is, the room we got is nothing like the picture'a on booking.com also because we had suspended ceiling in the bathroom, you can hear the people upstairs or next door as if they are in the same room. Breakfast is nice abit boring though but it does the job. We mainly wanted cleanliness, comfort and convenience with our young children and we got that. But price was abit too much. We would rate it 3 star hotel.
Breakfast area. You need to sit next to the portable air con cos it get very warm in the.
Excellent location, good staff in the restaurant
The aircondining does not work efficiently and wall controls have been removed. Power sentry turns of ALL power upon removal of card so fridge does not work making it useless. #You cannot get a second key. Concierge offer ONLY attractions supported by hotel and gives incorrect information regarding transport and other attractions. Shower impossible to adjust for temperature. When requesting explanation of th e bill the desk clerk became defensive and quite aggressive and rude. Gym was listed as included but you have to pay extra!!!
location & staff
no swimming pool
what i liked was almost everything. breakfast was very good there was a variety of food.staff were helpful all the time. rooms are very clean . tools were available for shower or for minibar drinks. balcony wasn't that of a seaview since the hotel is only 3 floors hight.A.C. was fair enough.
do not follow the tour guider there at the reception. they recommended a seafood restaurant who steel us and made us pay by euro currency. 4 dishes for 350 euros flipping the menus before and after eating. maybe the hotel have a percentage out of it. rooms are too small. on booking they look wild and comfortable but actually they are small in a way u don't have any extra space to put your luggage anywhere. plus , the cabentes were very very small and cant put in eve half of ur stuff. there is abuilding B behind the hotel it also refers to the byzantium hotel but its is worse than the main building and it is extra small builiding in a way it is very hard to reach from inside the buidling itself. there is a basement floor in which there are cheap rooms there. so if ur booking the cheap room be sure ull stay on the basement where the weather and air is at the worst situation. many times we asked the reception to wake us up for our early tours but unfortunately noone alert us at all.none ! they have a problemon their A.C. on the lubby area. thank u
Rooms space. Clean. Air cond. Wifi was the best of all hotels I stayed in.
No pathroom in the suite even it was mentioned in booking.com. Only shower room but good and clean. Spa entery is for one time only during your stay.
Poor air conditioning
The hotel is located near sultanahmet square, staff were all helpful and willing to assist anytime.it has really nothing much to provide comparing to other hotel i have been to but its considered fair if you hit the street all day long to explore the historical area. There was a laday called Esra, she was helpful and polite
Very small rooms and poor air condition in JUL AND AUG.restaurants down da street rip u off
Excellent hotel staff welcome and service. Super restaurant with nice wine and good food at the top floor with excellent views to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
All the staff especially the guest manager (Esra) are very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located in a street which you can find many restaurants and bars around with just 5-10 minutes walk to Sultanahmet. We have booked a double room with a crab for our 3 y/o boy. They gave us a family room without extra charge!! The buffet breakfast is great.
Although it is not about the hotel, it is somehow far from Taksim and the modern shopping centers if you are looking for!
The Hotel is located in the Sultanamet area, close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Topaki Palace. The staff were very professional greeting us on arrival, responded promptly to our requests and a number of them farewelled us on the street when we departed. (We only stayed one night) We received an upgrade to a suite which was spacious, well presented and had views over the water. The hotel is located on a street full of restaurants so you are spoilt for choice when it comes to dinner.
The bar area on the roof is fairly small and however it has nice views. The complimentary drink voucher given to us on arrival turned out to cover only soft drink.
Great location in Sultanahmet. Friendly desk staff, attractive lobby and decor. Good breakfast selections.
We were 2 couples traveling together. The hotel had overbooked so the first night both couples were bumped to another hotel, that the manager said he found my searching for availability online. That hotel had a cigarette smoke smell everywhere and mold in the showers (plus the strangest decor I've ever seen). The Byzantium did give us an upgraded room (very nice) the next night, but the experience was not a good one overall.
