Great location, close to main attractions, shooping malls, and most exclusive night clubs of Bosphorus. Very helpful and nice staff, always willing to help. Awesome Turkish breakfast. Super super clean. And most importantly, very charming, cozy homy feeling. Definitely would go back.
A bit noisy and small, but truly no big deal at all.
Great place wonderfull people!!! very helpfull staff a great place to stay...
Very nice people, good location, easy and comfortable. Perfect in price/performance. Recommended. Thanks to the nice and helping staff
Ortaköy is sometimes too crowded but if you like it its not much of a problem. Carefull with the traffic too
First of all, the location is just perfect. It's at the city center yet remote so you wouldn't hear any of the disturbing city noise. Rooms are super clean and kinda make you feel like you saw an adorable little puppy. Hotel staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful about the must-see areas nearby and actually can give you proper instructions about how to get to a place. Price/performance ratio, although I haven't been to every hotel in the city, I think is one of the best.
There's nothing that I disliked.
Good Location , Kind and helpful Staff . Nice breakfast.
A lot of noise . from outside.
We found the hotel on Booking.com. The reviews were quite positive about the hotel and when we got the hotel we realised they deserve more than what people wrote. The rooms were extra clean and staff was helpful. It is located on the main road close to best restaurants and night clubs in Bosphorus(5 minutes walking to Reina).
- I've booked my room about 2 months ago and it was really cheap although room was really clean and spacious. - Staff was very friendly and buffet was enough for breakfast. - Wi-Fi was free and had no problem while surfing. - Located just in the middle of everything; buses, ferries, discos, cafés, local restaurants.
Sometimes might be noisy, especially at rush-hours
Great staff, great location, fab Bosphor shore nearby with many coffees and restaurants around. Breakfast is very delicious and good. Very clean and welcoming
Room is a bit snug, smoke smell sneak from the next room to ours, Wifi is very slow, outside noise sometimes is loud.
location in one of the best area in Istanbul staff spacial Sinan and the lady how holed the housekeeping
the soundproof in the room spacial the room above the entrance
The staff, the place and the location, a great little find! We will stay again when visiting. Breakfast was amazing and delicious.
What's not to like!!!
The staff were exceedingly warm and the welcome was garnished with a lovely cup of tea which is heavenly after a long journey
A little bit of street noise but that is to be expected in a very busy city
Everything was good. Room was clean and staff was very helpful. A bit noisy but in the heart of Ortakoy. 15 minutes to Taksim, Bebek and Big shopping malls by taksi.
It's "the" place you definatelly wanna stay, because it's right in the heart of tourism and entertainment center of Istanbul.. Almost every historical place is within the walking distance. That will make you ignore everything else about this hotel, but actually you will ever need to ignore anything because it's a very cool place indeed.
I couldn't think of any downside except car noises during daytime (not at night), but you can avoid that for asking a room which is not by the main street
very good service of personell
location is hard to spot (but is next to subway, so that would help you out)
It is a very lovely hotel in a very central and historical location. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Since it is very central, it can be noisy sometimes.
The view was fabolous so was the staff, they always had a smile on their place and ready to serve
Nothing, everything was amazing
Great location, very helpful and polite staff, clean and well decorated room.
... if you look for 5 star hotels where you are treated respectfuly Istambul has plenty to offer...,but if you look for a environment where quality is combined with professional, honest and friendly attitude... look no further...Thanx guys, we'll be back soon...
only our short stay...
The rooms were very clean The location was great, as being near by the bosphorus The staff was very friendly, polite, and fully satisfactory as they were available any time I asked for their asistance. The breakfast was also well-served, and the whole environment was very cozy.
Was fully satisfied with the entire service from the house next to, there is not a single thing I didn't like from my stay there.
Family-run business dedicated to its customers Lovely breakfast
Any visitor hoping to have a good night sleep must avoid the groundfloor room - the door does not insulate a bit (draft coming in) and forget about soundproof - it's tantamount to actually sleep in the reception area. (Just picture an obnoxious German narrating his experience in seedy clubs at 2 am...)
The location - right opposite a covered market area, with restaurants, bars, stalls leading through to the beautiful Mosque, and the Bosphorus, where we alighted from a boat trip from the centre. We have a view of the Bridge from our window, which when lit up at night was fantastic. Sitting at the window, people watching, with a beer (which we bought from a tiny shop around the corner. The staff, especially 'Onder'? who makes the best flavoured tea, - loved the Hibiscus on the night we arrived.
The noise, the noise, from the street at night. Admittedly, we had just come from a 9 night stay in a rural cottage in Northern Cyprus, where there was no traffic or outside noise, so it was a bit of a shock. And the staff went and bought earplugs for us to use, when we told them at breakfast that our first night was so disturbed. By the next night, we had got used to it, and didn't need the earplugs - but bear in mind that it is on a noisy street, with car horns, emergency verhicle sirens, and even a nightclub across the road, which pumps out music and laser lights until 2 am. There is a bedroom on the ground floor, which apparently overlooks a back courtyard, and is not noisy - but then you don't get the view, as in my 'Like' column.
The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.
The hotel is located on streets with many clubs, rooms facing to the street (rooms with balconies) are noisy at night. If you want to live next to clubs this hotel can be great, but if you're looking for a quiet hotel this is definitely not the best choice.
Great location, great staff, amazing room. Totally worth the price! We were informed that the room on the ground floor is a bit noisy, however it was absolutely ok for us, once you shut the windows and turn on AC. The service was very professional and 24/7. Very friendly and helpful staff When you go outside, there is amazing view of the Bosphorus bridge at night, lots of cafes and bars nearby, great atmosphere.
friendly staff, great location...
The staff was amazing - very friendly, helpful and kind. The location is also really great, right in Ortakoy and close to everything. The breakfast is fine - its free! The rooms were always very clean and stocked.
It's a bit loud, since it's right by the street.
