Excellent Town Centre location. tastefully updated but still retained its original character. Staff were friendly and accomodating plenty of information about the area from the manager. Excellent day trip organised by hotel manager to historic and cultural sites. Bar prices tending towards nightclub prices.

The hotel building was nice. We stayed thursday and friday nights in the Liwan hotel. The walls of the hotel was very thin and all the noise was inside the room. In the middle of the hotel, there was an area (small inside garden) used for breakfast. It was surrounded by the rooms of the hotel. Friday night, the hotel rented this place for wedding. The wedding party was extremely noisy. The music and songs and noise were unbearable. All the rooms of the hotel were facing this area. There was no way to stay in the room, to relax and sleep. Te hotel reception apologized only, but did nothing to prevent this. This is lack of respect for their customers staying in the hotel. It is not acceptible to organize such a traditional wedding with extremely noisy music in such a house type small hotel.

Location and the design of the building was good This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed. During the night there is live music until 2:30 am on Friday and Saturdays. In the morning the noise of the breakfast is in your room. We could not sleep at all in any room. Also the comfort of the rooms differs. Our room was so small that 2 people can not walk the same time while my friends stayed in a nice room. The breakfast is average compared with Antakya cuisine. We will definitely not stay here again..

It was a very interesting old building that had been sympathetically restored. It looked very interesting on the web-site and that is why I chose it, and I was not disappointed. It was comfortable and it was close to the town centre. The staff were all very friendly. I could not fault it.

Hotel is ideally located in the very centre of the city making it easy to walk to all attractions around town. The staff is friendly and helpful fulfilling all that yoı may ask or need. Upon arriving at the hotel -a late check in around 10pm- we discovered that the rooms that I specifically booked are already taken. I had asked for rooms that are facing the front side of the hotel. The rooms at the back side are rather small -usually one side of a double bed faces the wall and the windows are tiny or there is none. The hotel also hosts a night club on the basement which is open on Fridays and Saturday nights until 3am which makes it impossible to sleep.I literally called the police around 1pm but without any success to cut down the noise since the venue is licensed to be open until 3am. I would suggest that you look into other options if you are visiting on weekends.

Great front desk staff. Beautiful building. The Liwan is small and personal. We didn't like the breakfast buffet. The restaurant staff did not notice visitors' confusion. The guys on duty seemed to be there to service the buffet table rather than to anticipate and respond to needs. For that reason, I would suggest another breakfast place, not the hotel breakfast buffet. The one light dinner we had in the restaurant was very good.
