The location near the new city center combined with a reasonable room rate makes Madison a good choice for a few days stay in Istanbul. |

Location was central to sights of Istanbul. Staffs attitudes weren't up to a 4 star standard. Hotel facilities are at an additional cost.. say to use the pool costs an additional 5 euro per person per day. Hotel was seen to be making additonal money off guest/tourists... for example taxis to airport was 30 turkish lira, however they tried to charge us 70! |

Compared to many other hotels in the same area and price range, Madison is quite behind. I guess location is the main reason you want to choose it. Staff is nice. Fitness is small, clautrophobic and at a charge! I had chosen Madison as the cheapest option offering gym and I was disappointed. Rooms are quite old-ish and noisy. |

Easy access to Metro station You had to pay to use the Swimming Pool, which I find really bad at a hotel that is classified as 4 star. Would never give this 4 star either - air condition very noisy and rooms tiny. |

Very convenient for the airport bus and the short walk to the new conference centre for my meeting. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced without being too expensive, although aspects of the room were a bit basic for the star rating. Wifi internet free and usable from 3rd floor. Receptionist not very on the ball, but otherwise no complaints. |

Location - in the center, near Tasim place, although to the old city is about 1h walk away (or metro + tram), this a regular hotel not a B&B or adapted home (I would rate it ***+), nice service during breakfast, free WiFi, Unable to pay in a night before early departure, a poor IT support (had problems with WiFi), slow lifts, overall quite "used" impression |

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the delicious and various breakfast. I had no internet connection inside my room, and I had to stay in the hotel lobby for this, and I felt the staff a little disturbed and angry on my long staying late in night. Althought I chosed a non-smoking room, there was a cvasipermanent smack of cigarette from the other rooms. Besides, you have to pay an extra amount for using the swimming pool. |

I liked the always smiling, helpful English speaking of the Reception attendants. Bar attendent had no idea of name of drinks (except for coffee) and always ended by giving wrong order, not serving because he did not know or calling some one else who spoke English. desasterously words such ice cream, cakes, cognac etc he did not know) |
