The location right off Istkilaal street, the main busy shopping street, as well as proximity to Taksim Square where you can catch the Metro. The rooftop bar Mikla is gorgeous. Good place to stay if it's your first time in Istanbul. The sheets had stains on them. The room is small but workable. The room service doesnt taste that good.

It is a great hotel in general.I Loved the location, which is the best in Instanbul-by far.The hotel is surrounded by great european style restaurants, cafes which are great suggestion for everyone like Auf (cafe- rest) ,The North Shields Bar, Apertivo bar-small club,in 2min walk by that hotel. Also just out of the main entrance there is a taxi station which is very convinient for transporation in the city. From the hotel to Sultahament we paid 17liras(~8-9euro) for the longest distance that we could make in the city. Also the fare for Ataturk Airport was 40liras(18- 19euros).The Hotel also is a great basis fow relaxing walk in Istkabal the main commercial pedestrian road just under the Taksim sq.The walking diastance form the Taksim Sq is 10min with the luggage. Also the area on the right of the hotel to Galata Tower is full of great small cafes with Constantinoupoles atmosfere.I Suggest to visit them for a quick coffe(7min walk).Just on the right hand at 3minutes from the hotel is a great cafe-restaurant with great view at Marmara's sea- especially in the summer when you can use the balcony-and a great homemade Tiramisu, which called 'Midtown'.Basic goal from that hotel is to visit the two cafe-rest:1)The Hotel House cafe and 2)Syrai PAstiserrie.THese two are at 5 min walk from the hotel.Great tasties which you should taste if you want to say that you visited Constantinoupole. The hotel has a famous reastarunt on the top floor ,but I didn't visit it.Instead of that I stongly suggest to visit fro dinner the 'auf' at 2minutes from the hotel.Great flavours with great dishes and very good prices. In final I should mention that the breakfast did worth the adiitional cost of 15euros.It was in a very beautiful ground floor and was tastefull. Last but not least I should mention my special thnaks to a great reseptionist whose name is Emran Adj.HE Was very efficient with my inquaries and questions. He helped me a lot with kindness and I should thank him from my heart. In a room with so well made design the basthroom was less than the expectations.I Do not know why they ignored that part of the room which can not fit to the mood of the whole hotel style.

Situated in what appears to be the tallest building in the neighborhood, this hotel boasts amazing views, so it's definitely worthwhile getting a superior room on one of the top floors. Convenient location 1 block away from Istikal street and only a 5 minute walk to the Galata tower. Clean, contemporary design and friendly staff - would definitely stay here again!

At arrival at the Marmara Pera, I got a very nice welcome and got upgraded from the city view room to the Bosphorus view room. I am not sure whether why they did this. Because it's my first visit? Because they didn't have any more room available? But it was worth it. Pera is a nice part of town to stay in actually, nice restaurants around, and a good place to go out. It wasn't for me this time, having been in meetings all day, I ordered room service and got to my work and emails. Room service was quick, and good quality. Also a side order was brought very quick after. Bed quality was good, good mattress, good pillows. Good amenities, free wifi, I love that free wifi. That needs to be standard with the room, like soap or a pillow. So I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only thing I can say about the room is the bath, kind of in between a bath and a shower. But now I am really stretching it to find something.

Great central location. Friendly staff. Efficient when persuaded. Flaky internet in outer rooms. Hope you dont have to check in or check. Out when hotel is receiving a group, than you will wait quite a while, but that would be true of more hotels. Imposing view of ugly parking lot for rooms with city view Rooms should have net curtains or something to keep people from surrounding other buildings from looking during the day, so you dont have to draw the curtains.

I misread my booking and arrived at the hotel 3 hours early, the staff showed me to my room and naturally, it wasnt ready for me, I was shown to a room higher up immediatly and it was perfect. Again, I was 3 hours early! The bar area is very quiet and relaxing and the staff throughout the hotel were exeptional. The food and drinks prices are very good for a 4 star hotel in this area. The veiw from the roof allows you take in the city of Istanbul. I will certainly stay here again.

The views across the city, Bosphorus and Golden Horn were fabulous. From our 15th floor room we could see everything. The location was perfect - straight out of the hotel and a short walk to Istiklal. Staff really lovely and helpful.
