The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul  

Personale cortesissimo e competente. Colazione di ottima qualità e abbondante. Struttura dell'hotel veramente all'altezza. Rapporto prezzo qualità veramente eccellente.

Avevo prenotato una camera per tre adulti. Il terzo letto non era per niente adeguato e sembrava una sistemazione di fortuna. Per più mattine, nonostante le lamentele, non ci è stato fornito il terzo accappatoio. Fondamentalmente era una camera per due persona adattata con soluzioni di fortuna per tre. Un vero peccato in un albergo dove I servizi sono veramente eccellenti.

It is an excellent hotel, the rooms are amazing and large with a very nice view. The location of the hotel is very convenient however you need to walk uphill if you want to reach Taksim Square. The food was excellent and the staff always manage to get you what you want even if it is not available. I would say it is worth the money but then it is not cheap.

The service was absolutely fantastic. Greeted with a welcome drink, everything was efficient, the hotel was immaculate. Everyone spoke English and it's hard to ask for more.

The location at first might seem a bit out of the way to Sultanhamet but it makes up for it by its convenience to the great restaurants, shopping, Bosphorous and transportation options (tram, boat, taksi).

Excellent staff. Good gym & pool. 10 minute walk (uphill) to Taksim Square. 5 minute walk (downhill) to the waterfront. Nice touches included, Turkish delights and tea in the lobby (free).

Major thing: Internet is only free for 30 min every 24 hour period, thereafter it costs 20 Euros / day. This should be free. Minor thing: No kettles in the rooms

very best 3 days of my life, hotel was great and the stuff were all sooo friendly. our room was always so clean. breakfast was included in our fare and its so good to have it on the beautiful view on istanbul. we went in feb but the hotel was warm all the time which made ourt stay even more confy. veraiaty of arabic channels which was good although you wont have time to watch tv. in room dinning was good as well. we also had the chance to meet mr.bulent who has a shop of carpets (loom art) at the hotel botique, hes a great man with lovely moralities and talking to him made us love istanbul even more. must see the carpets in his shop there amazing and each one is a peice of art.overall i highly recommened Ritz hotel.

Friendly and helpful Staff, especially the concierge.

The lighting in the bedroom (414) was very poor. The wattage of the light bulbs was too low, and it was impossible to read in the room except during the day. I had to ask for an additional light. We booked for three adults. The third bed made available by the hotel was for a child, not an adult. Also, the hotel said that Booking.com made a mistake in the price quoted to me, and did not include the price of the third bed!! This is confusing for me as a guest, especially as I made a non-refundable booking. The price of drinks and meals at the hotel was too high, especially for local wine and beer.

We had an amazing stay the staff were amazing , especially with children ...however the only time we were disappointed was when the concierge sent us twice on a wild goose chase for dinner and both times the restaurants they suggested were closed and had to find alternative options and that can be quiet difficult when you are travelling with two infants and one child (<5)
