I liked it alot, staff was very friendly and I can only recommend it. It surely wasn't my Last stay :)
Rooms, Design, Staff, Cleanness, and all the help and friendly gesture from the reception.
Nice hotel, 15 minutes walk to Istiklal, each room is unique, friendly staff
Staff is helpful and friendly. Decoration is pleasurable and nice, clean, comfortable. Between hotel and istiklal street 100 metre..
Only location. But Peyman(He works in hotel) escort to me when I want to go to hotel and outside..
Very helpful and welcoming hosts, beautiful and comfortable room, situated close to all the cafes and bars in Taksim. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the place.
Mr. Payman was an excellent host... room beautiful and clean,,,,
just the location...;( ;( No breakfast was a bummer...;(
Staff was super-friendly. Clean apartment, well decorated. Good value for money.
Location is extremely questionable for couples. I wouldn't take there my girlfriend again.
The white swan suite people are extremely nice, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The rooms are very cute just like the pictures, clean and neat. Neighborhood can look old and poor but still it is safe and exactly in the center of Istanbul.
We have stayed in the roof, which has full glass walls and terrace where you can see the city view. Suit is big and clean, and facility is new and good. It is very close to Taksim square and go out area.
The neighborhood is bit rough, but safe. However, it is a part of city, and you can experience different sites of Istanbul.
Room itself is very cute and just like in the pictures
Very bad neighbourhood.. Really dangerous place even it was close to Taksim. Also the owner was sick and tired of Turkish people having second thoughts on the neighbourhood and admonished us because we were afraid.. Really not cool. If you are Turkish and you know the related locations reputation don't stay there..
We really appreciated the room: immaculate, spacious, cozy, you can see a great eye for detail. The staff was nice and curteous, spoke great English (a rare quality in Istanbul!) and helped us out with our stay.
Both issues are somewhat unrelated to the hotel: The wi-fi needs some work, in the sense that it's unreliable (a problem with the internet throughout Turkey); Also the property is in an area which is about to be soon demolished to make room for new developments.
Well the staff was more then great very helpful and when you ask for something immediately they find for you,
well for people with heart problem or cant walk 7 minute a high way up it is difficult other wise it is OK, the neighbor hood it look bad but safe...
Clean and confortable rooms.
The hotel was located in the middle of a dangerous and undeveloped ghetto (you can google 'Tarlabasi Istanbul') were many disgusting things could be seen: drug selling, prostitution and rubbish. We also saw a pitbull dog fighting from the window of the room at 3 a.m.!! Our credit card was charged three days before checking in, why?. Rooms were provided with envelopes that said 'Tips for the cleaning lady', not a very smart detail... I wouldn't recommend it, is not worth for the money we paid.
Ali and Payman are top notch hospitality professionals. super warm, helpful with directions and recommended spots to hang out. the night i was leaving the hotel to the airport it was raining and a bit hard to get a cab. Ali went out of his way to look for a cab for me. really impressive service. I would come back to stay here again.
the street is a bit dark - located in a going-to-be-revamped immigrant area. but i was traveling solo (female) and did not feel unsafe. the street shops nearby are open late so when you get back late, there are always some people on the street.
The owner is very nice and helpful. The first day we arrive early morning in Istanbul, he managed to help us do an early check in.. With this arrangement we had a very good power nap before exploring Istanbul on the first day ... Rooms are very nicely decorated.. Hotel is centrally located in Taksim with easy access to the public transportation.. He also recommends some nice Turkish restaurant to us. Very good value for the money spent. I am sure I will still choose this hotel if I come back to Istanbul again.
Nothing. Only the hotel is located in a less developed alley.. The alley looks a bit creepy but actually it's quite safe.
(maybe) the neighborhood.
comfort, clean, pretty quiet room, airco good, wifi good
location in bad neighborhood, 10 min though walk distance to Taksim square, half through ruined buildings, edgy and dubious people
Staff. Cleanness. Being close to Taqsim square.
Hard to find by Taxi. Area is undeveloped.
It is a very nice, clean hotel with nice decoration and helpful staff. Three blocks away from a big street close to Taxim (no more than 10min walk to Taxim square and 5min to Istiklal street).
The area around it is very ugly and dirty and actually I don't see it improving any time soon.
1. My wife got sick when we arrive Istanbul and the staff gave us water, medicine, and upgraded our room. 2. It was raining heavily when we about to check out, the hotel gave us 3 hours extension FOC to stay and have a rest in the hotel. 3. The decoration is also very well, clean and convenient. Anyway, they are so warmhearted and I really appreciate their help.
Best personnel in town. Most helpful
Very helpful staff
Locals, kids playing in the street, just 10 units, elegant, clean, view, close to the main street and friendly and helpful staff.
We had a room with a cute, small balcony and also a juliet balcony. Rooms where nicely decorated and new. Cleaning was done daily. Staff was very friendly.
The area is a little rough. That being said, it is very close to Iztiklal Street.
This is a very nice hotel, close to the Taksim square. Some of the houses in the neighborhood are quite damaged and will eventually be restructured, but, all in all, the location isn't so bad, really. The people are mostly poor (but very friendly) and it feels safe, even at night. The rooms are rather small, but very comfortable and clean. Considering the price, I was very satisfied.
