Best Western Plus The President Hotel    

It's excellent location, it's just across the road from Grand Bazaar and surrounding restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful as well.

The walls are too thin, we can hear our people talking and snoring in their sleep from our room.

The experience gave us a feeling of being at home and comfort and would definitely recommend it to others

There was virtually no air conditioning and when we complained they said they couldn't fix it.very poor.spoilt our stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location for the Old city sites and the tramline to go further afield. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We were offered a complimentary taxi from the airport to the hotel. The rooftop terrace was lovely with panoramic views across to the Sea of Marmara.

Our room was at the front of the hotel and there was quite a lot of noise from outside, particularly when we had the window open. The spa only has one male masseur - we would have preferred a female.

facilities are good. restaurant on roof top very good and beautiful views. English pub on main floor is also good. desk staff very helpful. room was cleaned well each day. location is good.

hotel offered complimentary airport pick up and we waited 1 1/2 hr. for this car. Not worth it! Would book my own taxi next time.

The hotel location is excelent for visiting the old town Sultanahmet and Grand Bazaar. On the top floor there is a swiming pool and a terace with a great view.

The rooms are not so big and the bathroom is very small. Breakfast can be better. Price is a little bit too high for what it offers.

Liked the location as it was ideal for visiting all the historical sights such as the blue mosque, grand bazaar etc. The hotel had good leisure facilities which was nice after a long day sight seeing.

The hot buffet selection at breakfast was not particularly good. The breakfast room appeared to be too small for the number of guests at peak breakfast time. As a solo traveller on a couple of occasions I returned to the breakfast table to find the table cleared and a new guest sitting at the table!. The range of tv channels available could have been better. £7 for a pint of draft lager in the hotel bar was a bit steep. I only discovered this after having had 2 pints!.

Our rooms were president suite. We liked it. But we were 3 persons, parents+child, it is not enough please for 4 and 5 persons. The view from windows is really fantastic! Design is good too, I liked it!

The staff is not kind. The do not try to help you. They even have not umbrellas. The guys in reseption try to spend your money for everything. Mını bar ıs exspensıve. Besides they have problem with fair systems and even no apologieses.

Paper thin walls in Bathroom and could hear next room from our room. This made our visit uncomfortable. On 5th floor heard a lot of noise from 6th floor after midnight going on for a considerable time

Location is perfect, 2 minutes from tram stop. Breakfast is enough and delicious. Bottle of water was delivered as a compliment during two days of three.

Noise from neighbor rooms and from corridor. Walls are too thin. The bath room could be bigger. It's actually very small. For that money the room also could be more spacious.

The hotel it self is located in a very bad hill street. If you have any old person with you run away from this hotel, the hill is very strong for somebody older. It is a regular hotel, no luxury I would say just a plain hotel, near grand bazzar, nothing else.

The location was great. Breakfast variety of choices. Room was clean and up-to-date. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel had a fresh modern feel with good space. Nice very friendly staff, good facilities and terrific location. Most aspects were really very good.

Worst was NO air conditioning. The room was boiling and window only opened two inches because of safety catch. Reception said because of time of year (March) air conditioning was only on hot, it didn't do cool; so our room never went below 24 degrees, even at night and we couldn't sleep. That was terrible and incredibly disappointing as it pretty well ruined our last few days of a short visit.

Location and hotel staff.

No water hose in the toilet for wc. This is common in Turkey but would prefer if there was one similar to the middle east/gcc where I come from.

It is close to Bazar.

Very unfriendly guy at restaurant, he refused our breakfast, because we came 10 minutes past 10 hrs,, anyway breakfast is nothing special, rooms are very small, you can hear everything from the neighbours. First day they said, they will give water in room every day, it never happened, everyday we had to request for new one.

The location is perfect.

The way they handle requests; We were in our honeymoney and I inform them through booking.com as a specail requst, but they totally ignore! And didn't complement us with anything not even a welcom drink! When I told them about my request, they send a basket of fruit to our room..

Location, Breakfast & nice view of the breakfast hall and friendly staff.

No soundproofing; you can hear conversation & what is happening in the bathroom next to you. During our stay there was a construction in the hotel which was a proplem for weekend rest.

staff especially reception staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Also the room arrangements for indicating when the room needed cleaning or DO NOT DISTURB,,, also we never saw the maids but everything was impeccable when we arrived back . The terrace restaurant was also excellent if a little pricey but that is only to be expected in a hotel of this standard, It was also very very convenient for access to the major sights of the old city and to the tram system which we never used but looked very easy to use, regular... one every few minutes and cheap. Also the hotel indoor pool was superb and very warm and seemed to keep open very late.

Not much view from the window only the windows of facing rooms ( some way away so there wasn't a privacy issue) but actually it was quite nice to just sit and relax quietly after the hussle and bustle of the city so this isn't really a don't like just a reflection

We liked the location, the restaurant and breakfast,the room was comfortable and the staff friendly.

The room was small,no storage for luggage.Hot in the room no aircon and window would not open enough.could be noisey.

The value for money and the proximity to all of the historical sights, added to the friendly, helpful and pleasant staff made the stay in this well-run hotel a pleasure

the staff was very friendly ; the breakfast room has a gorgeous view over istanbul; the restaurant at the top floor also great view; good food for breakfast; good location close to everything in old city
