Three Apples Elmadag Residence

The flat was clean and tidy. The size of the flat is great. To be fair the staff were brilliant. But I wouldn't recommend the apartment to any couples.

I wouldn't recommend it at all. The location is in a ghetto, scary area, and very dark and surrounded by old and dirty buildings. The area is very dark and scary to travel to in the evening. Wild dogs in the area, specially in the evening. I was feeling unsafe to be honest. I have taken pictures of the area. No shops near to the apartment, no transport. I strongly wouldn't recommend the apartment. I had to pay for another apartment and move out on the first day. Unfortunately my money was refunded, however I would never believe the pictures provided by the hotel on their web sites. No elevator, stairs are a killer in the apartment. It's located at the bottom of a steep hill. definite no no to that place.

Didn't like having to walk to another hotel just to get passport photocopied after travelling all day information should have been given about this

TV channel selection could be better

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Being an English speaker, it was very comforting that so many of the staff were conversant.

I can only imagine that the location will be much better once the Taksim Square construction project is complete.

Nice apartment, quite close to centre of Istanbul (10 minutes on foot), good value.

5th floor apartment, and no elevator. Also location, although close to centre was a the bottom of a very steep hill, so climbing up it every day was exhausting.

The location of the Hotel is very good close to the metro station and Taksim square with all the shopping and clubs. The stuff was very friendly and helpful and despite small reservation problem occurred by our mistake, they managed to arrange the right room for us without any delay.

The reception of three apples taksim suit ( Mr.ayyup) make us problem. He forced us at the firest night stay at another apartement (three apples taksim residanse) he said to me you must satay in another hotel or I can cancel your reservation. And after first night that we go too another hotel apartement , he want give us the worse suit in elmadag. But we did not accept ! And the most important is befor we go to istanbul , I sent an email to 3 apples that I discribed I want to stay for 5 night instead 6 night, and they reply emial for me with answer ok. But reception did not accept this matter and charged us for 6 nights. It means I payed for one more nights that we didn't have located in hotel!!!

Size of the rooms are above average and quite comfy but rest of the attributes mask this advantage heavily.

It was a horrible experience. We went to the address hotel gave to booking.com. Back streets that is unsecure and very hard to walk even without a luggage. When we arrived to address (which was very hard to find, we sweat terrible because of the hard path to follow downwards) there were no office or any sign. We called the hotel and they told us "You were suppose to come Taksim and we will accompany you from here" which was 1.5 kms away from where we were (the address given). We told our situation that, there were no main streets around and it was very hard to travel with our luggages up to hill again. They did not care a bit, he just said "you need to come here". We had to walk up hill 30 minutes with luggages, we were literally exhausted. When we reached the main street, no taxis would accept us since it was busy hour. It took another 45 minutes to talk to their location at Taksim. As we finally arrived, he assigned someone to take us to our apartment (which was not where we booked it, totally different address). The street was terrible and dangerous - very unsecure even at daytime. Our escort did not even look back as he was taking us there, we were left behind like 50 meters behind as we were having hard time to "run" because of exhaustion. He did not care a bit. He just kept walking in a runnin pace. Finally we reached our apartment (another 15 minutes of walking), the key was missing. We waited 20 minutes for him to find the key (spare one). He had bunch of keys, he did not know which one was for which room. Took another 10 minutes for him to find. He did not leave the spare key to us and told us he will bring the key, which was hours later, we were not able to leave to room. Management is irresponsible, amateurs and did not care about their guests at all. It was not cheap, we did not choice it because of the price, we choice it because of the location and quality. No quality, false information, terrible location. Overall a nightmare.

I was not satisfied we arrived at the room and the sheets were dirty, when asked for clean ones the receptionist brought clean shifts but asked us to change them! The room was not cleaned everyday our room went two days without being clean. The room had a huge damp patch on the wall and smelt rather unhygienic, the sofas had undesirable stains. The area was unpleasant, and many people including ourselves were scared by the local surroundings, but I may reassure it was safe. This does not have any resemblance as a hotel more like a half way house for crack heads.

Don't stay here! Location is bad! Pretty much ghetto! Dirty streets! Not good! Hotel looks good in photos but dirty. Breakfast is gross! Didn't eat it! U get bread rolls and frozen tomoto and olives. No coffee! The hotel is far from reception. It's just awful. Hotel staff not great.

I dont recomend the roomsfor couples. As its location resides at the worst place in istanbull.

Location near Taksim square. Spacious comfortable rooms. The rooms are all necessary, until the dishwasher. A good choice for the money.

The hotel has 3 buildings, reception only in one of them. Moreover, the third building is located not already in 5, but in 15 minutes walking distance to Taksim square. At the time of booking is not specified. Incorrectly specified location on Google maps, but it is a problem of Google, not the hotel.

Let me introduce myself, so that all other people who are trying to book this accomodation believe me. I am 55 years Oil Industry Senior Executive with Doctrate degree, I did this mistake, because I am vegetarian and need a Kitchen to cook my food. This was the nearby accomodation to my duty point so I surfed on google and blindly booked. This is not worth staying so i don't keep this accomodation in the category of Hotel or appartments. Location is so bad that which you never imagine in your bad dreams. It is located down the hill in a very narrow street with all filthy environment.In case you have back pain or some weakness in your body, keep in mind, to reach nearby taksim road, you have to climb 50m very steep terrain in narrow street where taxis run in such high speed thet yuo can be hit and finally fetal. The major neagtive is once you enter first time in the city you need location of your stay immediatly which is in a loop. First you report to office of Three Apples which is 800m away and check-in here, take keyand luggage and then go to the actual accomodation which is as bad as a ghost dream. Then no one will attend or clean your room bacause it is an unattended accomodation. Next bad is because there is no attendant, you have to lock in and lock out the main gate also, in case you have some valuable then never keep in the appartment because there is no attendant and security. For breakfast, i have a very bad experience. They infact hesitate to provide you, they provide me the first day at 1100hrs, then never in my next three days, they provide some raw material which you cook yourself. Inspite of many calls to the main office which is behind Hotel cartoon (800m from your residence), no one attend you. Now you are trapped because they charge you the day you book this ugly accomodation. So don't be trapped in this accomodation.

We stayed at the 3 Apples Elmadag for 9 days in March 2012, we had stayed at the 3 Apples Taksim last year and were happy with the apartment. The Elmadag apartment is very good, we were very comfortable there and it felt like home ,we stayed on the 3rd floor at the front, for 2 people it was big enough,nice bedroom, good bathroom, good kitchen area, everything worked, we asked for a couple of things like extra hangers and an iron and board and they brought them the same day, the man who cleanes the apartments is there all day and is very helpful. It is 8-10 minute walk to taksim square uphill from the apartment,in a safe enough area, the apartment was generally quiet, but there is a busy road nearby and at night you can hear a little traffic if you have the window open, also there is a car workshop opposite the apartment, but we only heared noise from there once in 9 days. There are 3 small shops very nearby that stay open late, selling everything you need, (one of them sells alchohol) and a fruit shop.The apartment was an excellent price, but its location isn't for everyone, we are a turkish/british couple who know Istanbul very well and go there to visit friends, if you know Istanbul and you want to be around Taksim rather than the Sultanahmet this apartment will save you money providing you walk and don't get takis. Duşta sorun vardı, sular bir sınıyor bir soğuyordu. Yatak temiz değildi üzerinde saç telleri vardı.

başvurduğun yer başka yer,seni götürdükleri yer başka yer,yanına bi personel veriyorlar o bile nereye gideceğini bilmiyor,navigasyon olmasa oteli bulamıyorsunuz.tv çalışmıyor,resepsiyonu arasanız gelmesi yarım saat sürüyor.çıkış saati geldiğinde hiç bir haber vermeden sıcak suyunuzu elektiriğinizi kesiyorlar.Böyle saçmalık görmedim bir daha asla gitmem kimseyede tavsiye etmem.

Çok hoş temiz bir yerdi. Kendinizi evinizde hiisedebileceğiniz güzel bir ortamı vardı.

Hotele gitmeden önce adres tarifi için hoteli aradım ve adres aldım, Taksim elmadag hotel yerine taksim residence hotel adresini veriyorlar ve butun yolcular oraya gidiyor bilinçsiz olarak,kendi hotelimizdir diye oraya gittik kredi kartı bilgiler varken cash olarak ödemeyi talep ettiler, oda hazır olmadığı için 2 saat sonra gelin dediler ödeme aldıktan sonra 2 saat sonra geldikten sonra şimdi taksi gelecek sizi hotele götürecek dediler, müşteri farkında olmadan baştan müşterileri uyarmıyorlar. Sizin hoteliniz burası değil burada sadece check işlemi var dediler. Bu yüzden bir sürü zaman kaybettik, sabah 10:00 da hotele geldiğimize ramen saat 15:00 gibi ancak Three Apples elmadağ hoteline giriş yapabildik.Ayrıca bir sürü kontrat sözleşmesi imzalattırdılar.taksiyle bizi götürdükleri yer tenha bir yer )) genç çiflerin gidilemeyeceği bir yer hayatımın en büyük hatasını yaptım hotelin tam olarak adresini bilmeden rezervasyon yaptığım için. Düşmanıma bile bu hoteli tavsiye etmem, genç çiftlere asla.

sevdiğim bir yönü olmadı.Zaten hotele ulaşmaya çalışırken durum kötü bir hal aldı. Beğenmedim hotel,ne yerini ne odaları ne temizliğini nede başka bir noktayı,konuyu.

sitede anlatılanlardan farklı bir hotel buldum.yeri inanılmaz kötü. her ne kadar taksime yurume mesafesinde desede ; alakası yok çok sacma sapan vbir yerde maalesef.
