In Goreme National Park, this family-run hotel is in a Turkish stone building and offers vaulted rooms in the rustic décor. The staff can arrange hot-air balloon trips.

The room was clean and well heated. There was always warm water. The bed was very comfortable.
I would have been nice to have a little more choice for hot food at breakfast such as menemen or soft boiled eggs. The choice of cold food was good.
Great location. Clean and comfortable. The manager was friendly, funny and always happy to answer all of our questions.
the location is very good.
lightning in the room is very minimal. The restaurant has many menus but we cannot order some of it.
overall service is good, receptionist very helpful and nice!
the price of hotair balloons, day tour servicec booked through the hotel somehow seems bit higher. Better double check with others, especially different prices to different nationalities!
The hosts are very helpful.
Minutes walk to the centre of Goreme. Beautifully presented room. Big ang very usable bathroom.
All was very good.
Nice room Good position Helpful and humorous staff
Hard to find but if you call them they come and pick you up
Good location and room was a good size
Hot water ran out in the shower after the first day The staff did not respond to our email requesting information about transport from Kayseri airport to the pension. As a result we were forced to pay for an expensive taxi journey. Staff should monitor and respond to emails and other communications!
The location of the hotel was perfect for our group. We were able to watch the balloons launch from the rooftop terrace - a definite thrill. We have great photos to help us remember this great vacation! Staff was very helpful in setting up a tour for us.
We were never able to get the tv to work; not a big deal since we spent most of our time touring the area.
The hotel rooms are actual caves. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There's a nice courtyard. The staff (especially Yasar) were great in helping us organize a hot air balloon ride and tickets for a Whirling Dervishes performance. Also, when we got stranded by rain, the restaurant where we were having dinner called the hotel and they came and picked us up
Can be a bit hard to find the first time you go there, but very close to the centre of Goreme
The room we ended up with was great - semi spacious, good natural light and wonderful stone work.. The internal courtyard of the 'pension' was photo material.
They initially gave us what we thought to be the worst room in the compound. When we expressed dissatisfaction, we were quickly given the option of another. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
There is best of Pension. Good Staff and Very Clean. Also staffs have fluence english and korean. Many people in there tour together. Nice place to see the Balloon in the terrace and good breafast. Good locations too. Staff service is very good. they reserved everything include airport shuttle. :)
Some people complain about the tour. I think that sometimes the staff recommend the tour. but it is not forced and not pressure. If you have 2 or 3 tours, they discount the tour fares too. so I think it is not bad.
I especially enjoyed the view from the dining terrace. On the whole, it's a very nice hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff.
Although there was a full spread buffet for breakfast it became boring since every hotel in Turkey offers the same breakfast.
Staff is efficient and friendly, lovely terrace overlooking the city, cave rooms are spacious and very well appointed, location is perfect!
Extremely limted Wi-Fi from our room. Tour recommended by Traveller's Cave did not provide us with a guide which had sufficient mastery of English. Also two tours with a single guide, which was not as specified at booking time.
Beautiful cave-like hotel
Really small bathroom
Comfortable rooms and beds, quiet location, very nice courtyard and terrace, with panoramic view, excellent breakfast. Great value for the money.
Tours suggested by the hotel staff are probably not the best among what you can find in travel agencies.
The personal is very nice, pretty rooms in the cave, near to restorant and open museum . WE recomend the hotel
The Traveller's Cave Pension is in a beautiful setting. The rooms were well appointed and furnished in a charming manner with pretty linens. Sleeping in a cave room is a great way to get to experience life in Goreme. The breakfast was delicious and generous in variety. Views from the breakfast room are spectacular. In the heat of the summer day, you can enjoy the shady courtyard. The hotel provides a lot at good value. I would definitely stay at the this property again and recommend to friends (with summer advice, of course)
In summer, the cave rooms are extremely hot. The hotel provided a heavy coverlet rather than a single sheet which would have been much cooler. While it may not be possible to have AC in these rooms, the hotel should at least provide a fan for each room so guests can sleep. We had asked for a fan and were told we would receive one, then later told by staff that the fan had been given to another client.
Breakfast bathroom staff
nice environment, good staff, yummy breakfast
the light in the room is not bright enough for reading
The location was good and the room was more comfortable than i expected. Although there was no air conditioner, the temperature was ok.
But if you are planning to make a reservation for tours from some tourism companies other than this hotel, then you should reconsider booking this hotel. The hotel staff got really upset when they heard i already had my tour booked..
The place is pretty and rooms are big
The English speaking staff wasn't there for check in and we couldn't pay, but when we checked out we were forced to pay with our credit card because the guy working there pretended our card didn't go through. The hotel is very noisy (Korean guests are loud coming in and out in the early morning). It is also hot since there is no AC.
Breakfast was the best thing, geneours and varied.
very noisy, staff just cared about selling tours.
architecture of building
manager's careless attitude; the fact that he refused to charge our rooms on a credit card and insisted on cash; the fact that he was not wanting to even give us a receipt for payment for our cash until we refused to get out of his office until we get one.
