located in area I wished to visit, small enough to be recognised as an individual, good staff. roof-top restaurant featured on web-site open only in summer, not available and no sea view as mentioned. Very limited facilities and rooms small and little natural light. Front rooms better, but loud music from nearby restaurants lasted into 2am, so difficult to sleep

The hotel staff was excellent. Hospitality was great. They took care of all our needs from travel to food. Room was a bit small for a triple room. Breakfast was great however some variation is required.

It is a very friendly cozy Hotel. It is located very close to all attractions, Staffs are very nice and very helpful. We stayed 3 nights and they provided free pick up service from local airport. I love their daily breakfast. I would stay to this hotel again and recommend to my friends and family.

Very helpful and friendly staff - on my birthday they sent up a bottle of wine and fruit - what a lovely surprise. Breakfast was great - always fresh and tasty - excellent selection. Hotel dinning - again great and helpful staff and the food was good. I was in the section where there was no lift - unfurtunately I was on the top floor - but by the end of the 4th day I was much healthier!!! Heating in room a little to hot - but this was a monor issue.

Friendly staff, comfortable and warm room (bear in mind it was snowing at the time..). Kettle and fridge. View of the Bosphorus, Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque (just about) from the roof (plus other people's roof installations of variable quality...). Interesting breakfasts, with a fair range of food (including some unusual heart-shaped Valentine's Day specials). We stayed enough days to qualify for a free transfer to the airport (both ways). Central location for Sultanahmet with lots of competing restaurants. Next door's television (maybe they had it on a bit loud). We had a "triple" in what was really a double room - a bit tight but not too bad. Some people thought the beds were hard. Bit of a walk to Eminonu, and the new city over the water.

Excellent location very near 'Blue Mosque' and Ayasophia. Clean comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, extensive buffet breakfast available from early morning to mid morning. Really good place to stay for one week of sightseeing. Also very good value for money.

The staff at Hotel Tria are incredibly helpful. They responded very quickly (in English) to emails, and arranged things like our airport pickup at the beginning of our stay, and a transfer to the port (where we were joining a cruise) at the end of our stay. They serve a great breakfast included with the room rate. The remodeled luxury rooms are wonderful. Ours on the fourth floor had a great view of the Bosphorus; but even if your room doesn't have a view (most don't), the roof terrace is just a wonderful feature, with a 360 degree view including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Bosphorus - all within a short walk of the hotel. I really can't fault this place - we'd go back in a heartbeat.

Tria Hotel is a delightful, character-filled hotel in a great location. They serve an impressive buffet breakfast and the staff were friendly. We booked a couple of tours through Tria Hotel and both times there were problems. Maybe it was a language issue as we sometimes found it a little difficult to make ourselves understood.

Excellent location, walking distance to all the main sights. Amazing views from the rooftop terrace where you could watch the sun rise over the Bosphorus as it shines on the Blue Mosque, enjoy your breakfast or have dinner (good food), with great service. Staff go out of their way to assist in a most friendly and helpful manner. We were near the elevator/lift and could hear it whenever used. Sound carried through the bathroom vent and in the hallway. Edges of the floor carpets in the breakfast area would cause one to trip now and again. The standard Double room was too small so we upgraded to the Deluxe which was roomier and had a jet tub.

The roof terrace is a major win. We had our meals there and spent time enjoying the view, relaxing with coffee and surfing on our gadgets. A truly wonderful experience. The location is also a big win. It's walking distance to all major attractions. The breakfast is OK.

Excellent location and helpful staff. Can be noisy at night given the proximity to the bars on Akbiyik Street although this dies down at about midnight.
